- Animation canceling with ki pulse since the beta. Here in this tutorial, you will learn how to add item to your combo with magic, ninja skill and item consumptions. With this, you can cancel most animation, speed up your item casting and even do fancy move with emote! Don't know if it's legit, but hey, more power to us. (Until TN fixed it...)

Lol today i found out i can Yokai-Block animation cancel my feathers and now you show me I can just use a Ki-impuls. Thanks, was looking for a way to abuse the animation cancelling since Ninjutsu build is too squishy for 1+ seconds of animations xD

those kinds of animation cancels weren't intended to be used like the majority of gameplay mechanics it already has, if anything your abusing a system that made nioh combat mechanics possible via loopholes

hi ltl, long time no see. I recently back to Nioh 2 after bought it 2 years ago (oppsie). I wonder if this tech still works in 1.28 version (the latest one on steam)

@@LasttoLoad My main problem with feathers is not recover, but speed it comes out. its so slow that enemy can dodge it/side step. like a lot of bosses have really crazy mobility and dash way too much. Not to mention that its kinda inaccurate.
why isn't there a set that boosts feather casting speed. its almost like they designed these feathers to be used with paralyze.... but there is better stuff to use for paralyze (LIKE Iai quickdraw). the ki pulse counter is really cool, but its much easier to do it with burst counter.
@@dodang_9147 its usually the best when used against an out of ki enemy. Some enemies like saito toshimitsu are designed in a way to counter that play when they have ki. There are a few good item to use however like guardian spirit with ame-no-mitori for fast stagger.
How are you ki pulsing after the ninja feathers? When I do it, I cancel feathers. I can never ki pulse in the end. I can do it with kunai, but not with feathers. It is impossible to shoot out the feathers , and still hit the ki pulse. I'm losing my mind, been trying for an hour. Please advice.
kunai has the same timing as feather so it should be possible. if its still hard, you can try other attack that has more forgiving timing like spear mid stance strong attack or katana kick
Try the key pulse right when your characters head turns for the feather. The timing is indeed strict but you can learn it in a few hours

- Reckless charge (plus square or triangle finisher)
- Spinning Kick
- Fists of Reckoning
- Beyond Infinity (all stages, perfect timing or imperfect timing)
- Battering Ram

@@LasttoLoad its so Hard T_T? I got the Timing for casting a jutsu after a atk but my ki pulse cancel my feather, did I go to quick? If I wait a little my ki pulse is gone before I trigger :/

@@Dz77777Dz bro he shows you in the vid. It is hard so you just got to practise. Don't just mash the item button, that's what I used to do wrong. You have to press it just as the attack animation ends, then you need to leave just enough time so that the item actually comes out but not too long so that the ki pulse is missed. Try it with archers impact on the fists
@@joesheridan9451 hours of try.. nothing close. Not even a single time, aswell canceling with the spirit is not working, I am playing with a strenght spirit
@@Dz77777Dz you mean with a yokai ability or counter? Try the blue counter move, it's like a dodge, cancells the recovery. Not as good as the ki pulse though
