Usyk is everything you’d want in an undisputed champion the guy oozes class
I agree
Absolutely!
@Jrd-kn4dw Come on Fury is a great charactre and a great Champ. Also came back from mental health issues.
@@MrStaano fake mental health issues to run away from fights. A fighter shouldn't be rattled by mental health issues he's the first champion in history to cry mental health and run away from his duties. There for plenty of champions that had far harder lives than him and just got on with it.
Everything indeed, but a NAZI apologist so you know, kinda brings him back into being JUST ANOTHER MAN!
Why are people still talking this stuff about jumping on Usyk? Have you not worked out over 36 rounds between Joshua and Fury plus Dubois and Bellew that Usyks style doesnt allow you to do that? When do we start giving Usyk the props instead of making it out like it was the other fighters mistakes?? Thats disrespectful to what Usyk has achieved over a long and sustained period of time.
U nailed it on the head 🎯🎯🎯
Truth
I like usyk he's a good man don't care wer he's from. Class man
Salty Brits
Because everyone thinks they are experts. Congratulations USYK
The ref prevented Usyk from securing a KO in the 9th. Not only was he obstructing Usyk's path at critical moments and distracting him, but if you watch closely, he also grabbed and pulled on Usyk's shoulder, further impeding his efforts. Watch the replay and see if you can spot the moment when the referee grabs Usyk's shoulder. Additionally, the referee gave Fury an extended 20-second count and led him back to his own corner, doing everything possible to prevent a KO. The 40-pound weight disparity meant it was akin to Floyd Mayweather at 37, as a welterweight (147 lbs), battering a prime Evander Holyfield at cruiserweight. An amazing result for Usyk.
I second that !
No doubt about it.
Your analogy is off base because weight disparity should be seen as a percentage therefore it becomes less significant as you get heavier. An 80 pound kid is twice the size of a 40 pound kid, a 440 pound man is about the same size as a 400 pound man. I'm smarter than you haha
I noticed that
So you think Fury would not have gotten up ?😂
Usyk’s corner was professional.
Furys corner was full of hooligans.
Absolute nonsense. Andy Lee and Sugar Hill are hooligans?
Happy new year from team Fury

@@StudioFocus-hh7dx got beat by one of the best fighters to ever do it in a close fight. No shame in that. Another clueless numpty that knows fuck all about boxing 🖕
Tyson Fury needs one coach and one voice. He needs someone like Peter Fury. If Peter Fury would have been his trainer, Tyson Fury would have never faded after the 7th round and he would never have excessively "backfooted", which allowed Usyk to pressure him the way he did. Peter Fury trains fighters to go the distance and to give 100% in each and every round. He trains fighters to be both pro-actively offensive and pro-actively defensive.
I knew with both Sugar Hill and John Fury being in the corner that there would be the problems. Sugar Hill is purely one-dimensional. John Fury has a lot of insight and knowledge but in crucial times and in critical situations he loses poise and composure. Tyson Fury needs a training team who is as professional as Team Usyk. He needs to approach his former trainer Peter Fury. Only if he gets together with his mentor can he have any hopes of winning the rematch.
If Joshua, with more power and strength, could not KO Usyk, it was highly doubtful Fury could do just that especially in the non-Championship rounds. He needed a trainer who would have prepared him for war for all 12 rounds, using both effective offensive and defensive techniques.
Uysk, the giant slayer, the 2 weight undisputed champion, the lineal heavyweight champion, the P4P number 1, the best fighter of this generation not just in the cruiser or HW division but in boxing!
When they speak of this night in 100 years time they will still remember the dominance of this man.
That's not saying much, this generation of heavyweights is probably the worst in history!!!

Not the company Johnny.
Exactly what I was thinking. Always thought he was a dough-heid but he speaks a lot of sense here. He’s right about the yes men around Fury. A tale as old as time. Joshua has same thing. Hangers on but huge ego blinds them to it
Absolutely. He obviously knows his stuff, says it like it is and is an articulate speaker and intelligent man.
John fury shouldn't have been in his corner, he was talking over sugar hill telling him he had it in the bag.
No that was other way round wtf john was telling him to jab and hold and use the reach sugar was saying your winning and go for the k.o
Hard to say his dad shouldn’t be in the corner but I’d tell him to stfu while he’s there. The corner was a shambles.
Or have his dad as his trainer and main corner man.
On the other hand, fury might want all that input. Which would be odd.
💯
He should have been in a prison cell not the corner after he assaulted that young lad
100% he was doing what happened to AJ’s trainer! People talking over him
Usyk overloaded Fury, mentally and physically.
He never let him rest. Never let him ride on cruise control. That’s what he meant by: « don’t worry. I will not leave you alone. »
So far, Usyk had been too intense and complicated for anyone. He has the complete toolbox, and the stamina to feed new problems one after another.
I totally agree. He puts nonstop pressure with a variety of techniques and creativity of his own. This must be a hard mental exercise for him, but a mental overload for the challengers
His quote was an attack on Tyson’s Spoilt baby character .
He always wants attention and acts to get attention from his parent .
usyk fathered him and said this without any aggression .
Tyson is a very very very small person . Lots of drama to come not over yet
Fury gassed out to win those mid rounds, that’s why he stopped. People always say why don’t his opponents use their size against him, it’s cos Usyk nullifies it, figures them out
Exactly you can’t use your size against someone that doesn’t stop moving and punching
I think it’s more that he got caught in the nose towards the end of the 7th and it rocked him.
Fury lost his last two fights. To a UFC fighter and a middle weight.

I've seen it mentioned heaps of times.
What "nobody" mentions is that Fury threw more punches than Usyk, who expected that?
Fury’s confidence went after Usyk bust his nose. Wasn’t the same after that. Took all his momentum away. Then the 9th…
I don't understand how every boxing match doesn't end in busted noses to be honest 😂 It seems so rare for a sport where people punch each other in the head for 12 rounds lol.
@@luker.6555 It’s rare because the spine allows the head to sling back which takes a lot of the blunt pressure off of straight shots. It’s also an extremely strong bone the way it’s built.
The times that the nose does break are when the fighter is clenched up and takes a straight shot to the front of the nose. With the neck clenched and pushed down into the shoulders, the spine and neck can’t sling back. Which is exactly what happened to Fury.

@@recodegamesstudio I think you have just exposed the limitations of this fallacy. The size differential can only be small for it not to count. Size may not be everything all the time, but size matters, especially in boxing ( which is why there are a dozen plus, weight divisions).
Also Fury never "had the speed of a little man". Usyk showed you what a big man woth speed and fast feet actually looks like..

@@arnoldmagqaza7860 No it isn't, thats 1980s - 90's size. These days 6'5 and 245 is about average.

Zhilei Zhang 6'6" - 280lbs,
Deontay Wilder 6'7" - 238lbs
Joe Joyce 6'6" - 270 lbs
Martin Bakole 6'6" - 270lbs ,
Dubois and Parker are considered the smaller guys at 6'4" and 237lbs.
And Usyk worked to put about 20lb of that on, he could have easily stayed as a cruiser.
I have been telling many people for many months that Usyk will beat Tyson. Most didn’t believe me, or laughed. You can imagine how happy I was yesterday with Usyk’s win.
The showboating wasnt for Usyk. It was for the viewers including the judges. To con them into thinking he was winning rounds he did nothing in. The showboating wasn't the reason he got dropped and beat.
Yep also Usyk took a few rounds to figure out his style after that he had Fury's number. Fury was just trying to goad him into making a mistake.
Exactly and it’s just pure nervous energy. Usyk kept walking forward through the fire just waiting for the adrenaline dump to come for Fury.
Nothing better than seeing showboating come to nothing.
I think the showboating was a sign of desperation on the part of Tyson. He knew what he was trying wasn't working and he started the showboating as a distraction.
What was brilliant was how Usyk dealt with it; he completely ignored it and refused to engage. Usyk would not be baited and, ultimately, could not be beaten.
Look at the punch stats. I've not seen anyone mention that *Fury outpunched Usyk*. Usyk pressured him and put him on the back foot without doing his usual throwing all the time... he was in Fury's head. I think the showboating was trying to psych himself up and goad Usyk to fight the fight Fury expected.
Johnny Nelson's opinion on Usyk's mental strength is spot on. Honestly I feel Usyk needs to write a book on having a strong mentality. So many men find it difficult in general, male suicides are high, it would be amazing to know what keeps Usyk sane and mentally strong. I can see him being a faithful Christian must help him, you can see he keeps praising God but Usyk needs to write a book on this
It’s absolutely from taking good lessons from scripture, and also good parenting… which is also a result of a biblical worldview.
Usyk's unwavering belief in God is the secret to his life. It's not about who you believe in but how strong your belief is. You take control of your mind. Mind can be your best friend or worst enemy. Whatever you handover to your mind, it latches onto it and if you let your mind off the leash, it drives you into depression. Usyk controls his mind whereas an average person does whatever his mind tells him to do.
@@SR-fs2fd No, I’m sorry, but that is just new age drivel. There is no replacement or substitute for Jesus Christ. It’s ABSOLUTELY 100 percent about who you believe in, and it’s only Jesus that is the way. Usyk would be the first one to tell you that.
@@brando3342 yes it is new age and science will prove it eventually. A few enlightened beings passed on their teachings and before even reaching anywhere near their state, their followers start debating the intricacies of each other.
There is one supreme reality and you can realise it in any form (even formless). I am sure Usyk will tell me his God is the only God because he's already walked far down that path. Another boxer that will tell me something similar is Beterbiev. Both are resolute and mentally unfazed.
Come on dude.. you seriously wondering how somebody can have mental strength when they are a huge talent. If he walks into a boxing gym he's a celebrity.
Hey Johnny - loved your insights and comments. Thanks !
Usyk to Tyson Fury..."I will not leave you alone." He was true to his word😂😂😂
Crazy how when AJ,Wilder and Fury were undefeated champs nobody wouldve thought usyk would be the last undefeated champ, let alone undisputed champ! What an era!
Let’s be real. Fury got stopped in round 9, so there is no need for a rematch here. After all, he never gave Wlad a chance for a rematch when he beat him.
Let's be real there is a mandatory rematch clause
There is no MANDATORY rematch clause. There is a clause which allows the loser, if they so choose, to get a rematch. Ol fish eyes said in an interview after the fight that tyson wants the rematch. Although i cant see the rematch ending any differently.
@randyschwaggins If I were Usyk, I would resign immediately, citing health conditions. Fury would have done same. There is nothing more for him to prove.
@@publichealth9470why would he do that with all the money he can make?? If Usyk loses its a trilogy. Why would he leave potentially 2 massive paydays on the table while he is still in shape to fight?
@@outlander234 But that would mean Usyk isnt undefeated anymore. Better for him to stay undefeated than for us to have a third match. If he beats Fury again in the rematch, then Usyk will go down as one of the best boxers who ever boxed. An easy top 3 contender of all time.

His legs haven't gone. USYK is no Wilder. He has crazy boxing ability and was not leaving him alone. He has peppering him from every angle in that 9th round.. Wilder usually doesn't have to finish anyone because 1 punch is usually enough. The volume and pressure of USYK was the game changer
Tyson Fury was so punch drunk at the end of the fight he was wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

Usyk had Fury looking like Denzel Washington at the end of Training Day in the 9th round. Turned him into the Tipsy King 🤣😂
Youve copied ‘Tipsy King’ !
For me, Johnny has spoke the wisest words I’ve heard about the fight.
Usyk's footwork is so good that he literally pressured and backed up Fury who was the bigger man the entire fight, except for like 2 rounds.
Usyk is a generational talent, and Usyk is already 37 years old - not even in his prime anymore and still defeats Fury who weighed 40 pounds more, had a 7 inch reach advantage, and a 4 to 6 inch height advantage.
Usyk is a legend, both in and out of the ring!
The way Tyson managed to establish a rythm and controlled Usyk's placement in the ring was actually so impressive to see. He made a point of walking away and circling, looking at the ground and wiping his face, over and over again, and Usyk just went with it. Super subtle, and obviously didn'twork as he lost, but it was a crafty strategy to disrupt Usyk's constant pressure.
I observed this too. Tyson Fury did all he could to win, Usyk was just phenomenal last night.
Usyk made an amazing adjustment I didn’t even think of too by keep Tyson in center of the ring and circling from outside instead of letting Fury stay in rhythm on back foot.
This fight was closer than a lot of people think. I still think Usyk won, but a rematch should happen. It was a lot closer than the AJ fights.

Usyk is a great! 2x Undisputed.
This amazes me: even after yesterday's performance - in all boxing channels ppl talk mainly about the boxers that were defeated by Usyk instead of talking about Usyk...
Yup, true this. They just can't admit that he is up there with the greats, Lewis, Holyfield, Foreman, Ali, Frazier, Joe Louise... If it was Fury who had won, they wouldn't even be talking about a rematch.
I think that was the best possible fury too, because after round 3 he completely went into his rhythm mode, I didn’t think usyk could overcome that
But then that cracking shot on his nose 🔥
Good take here from Johnny
Fury’s tactics and corner was shocking. The size/weight difference was massive and to allow Usyk to press all fight and for fury to work from the ropes/corner was madness. The showboating was embarrassing and not needed. Usyk pressed through everything and was laxer sharp all fight and fully deserved the win
It's easier said that Fury should jump on him from round 1 to 12, but when he is inside the ring, the craft of Usyk would always prevent him.
Every time I hear these interviews and the so called experts saying AJ and Fury now never used their biggest attributes to rough usyk up is actually laughable. Do they not see that usyk has an answer for everything? Fury trued to rough usyk up and he couldn't do it. Simple. I think they under estimate just how strong usyk is, he was giving Fury as good as he got in any clinches.
I never saw the part where Fury tried to outbox Usyk. 🤡🤡🤡
Fury can retire, but not being at his full potential will haunt him forever. If he comes back achieving a much higher work rate he definitely can beat Usyk. Then if he did lose the rematch with truly giving it his all including rate and strategy improvements, his, retirement would be 100% more acceptable to his psyche. . However, I think he needs one fight before that. With AJ.

Its clear now, Fury is no where near a great boxing champion, they'd have killed him years ago. Riddick Bowe, hollyfield, Lennox lewis would have done him easy. He was way bigger and the ref saved him in the 9th
So that means usyk is no good either then?
@@marcust123he’s not. Lucky he’s in a shocking era
Ali , Foreman, Fraser, Mike Tyson would've used him as a mop rag to wipe the floor.
Tyson is from the hooligan stock without class .
J Nelson’s dream came true! He said Fury upset after the fight.
The closer the fight came to happen the more credit fury gave Usyk, started as a small middle weight, to being the slickest bad man that will be his hardest fight. You saw the best fury there is last night, weight loss, dedication, 2 training camps back to back, and Usyk beat that fury! What’s mind blowing is Usyk in a good night is much sharper and fast paced than that. Usyk beat the best fury and fury didn’t even fight the best Usyk and he still beat fury. No rematch needed fury will have no answers. I say fight fury and AJ for the chance at another shit at Usyk
Usyk is not Wilder Johnny and that’s why fury looked so good against wilder because he’s terrible. He stepped up to fight a credible opponent for the first time in 3 years and got found out
Fury might just go back to easy exhibition matches like Ngannou (!) and other MMA fighters, to pick up the cash and preserve his health
No rematch hes already activated the rematch clause it was a very close fight
"Retire" to avoid the rematch. Wait a year or two and then do exhibitions for cash. Maybe even wait for Usyk to retire first and come back to take on live opponents
Yeah, it worked out great for him last time.
Round 9 = tell me the ref was favouring fury over Usyk without telling me the ref was favouring fury over Usyk
Even if Tyson would have went down,he still would have gotten up. That we know for sure.
@@anthonyking9454 it’s not a matter of if fury went down, the fight should of been stopped there & then in the 9th but the ref had other plans
The ref stopped counting at 8 but didn't restart the fight . Why didn't he continue the counting? It would've well passed the 14 count before the bell rang.
I think Usyk should now retire from boxing undefeated unified Champion as did Lennox Lewis. Going out at the ultimate top is the best way to retire.
The ref the ref .. the ropes kept him up so it's a 10 count! Shit me I hate seeing comments yes he could have finished him but in boxing rules if you all want to look them up if the ropes hold a fighter up it's a 10 count!!
this fight only happened because of Saudi Arabia they made tyson Fury a offer he could not refuse we would have not gotten this fight if not for them.
im just happy uysk got a crack at it and he gave it his all and won.
Remember the ref saved Usyk against Dubois……
That was a low blow, and correctly called as such. It was below the naval
Rule of Boxing. Keep your punches above the belt line. There's a reason why there's a protector behind the belt line.
Dubois quit... Stop the nonsense.
He hit the protector will you bore off with that nonsense. Hitting the protector is a foul for goodness sake. Wake up.
So Fury is better "fighter" than Usyk, but not the boxer???? With all due respect,I dissagree;Usyk destroyed Fury with fighting will & boxing skill!
Johnny Nelson has never came no we’re near to what Tyson fury has achieved. Funny how you get bums like this slagging down other fighters when he could never come close to beating usyk. Well done to usyk
Exactly mate the guys a clown and jealous hater
