- Hey Everyone! In this video I'll be unboxing and giving my review / first impressions on Afnan Turathi Blue EDP (clone of BVLGARI Tygar). I was really surprised by how good it is, and the performance is extremely impressive even in the cooler weather!

So many reviewers have been describing this fragrance as having a juicy grapefruit smell. I don't get that at all. To my nose, this is a blue, slightly fresh, spicy fragrance that has some Musk. Citrus doesn't come to my mind at all. It's still worth the money and I will wear it this summer.
Just bought it for 24 Eur, so like 27 USD. (living in Germany). Think, that is ok

Nice! I might check this out! I've been getting into Middle Eastern fragrances more. Yes, the presentation for many Middle Eastern fragrances is almost premium, with hinged, lined boxes, embellishments, etc. I have Al Haramain Royal Musk and Musk Collection (2022 releases) wich had presentation like that. Substantial bottles with golden heavy snap caps, decent atomizers and ombre glass. I don't own Tygar but own two Bvlgari fragrances and a Bvlgari watch that belonged to my late grandfather. I'm sure this Afnan frag is a good option for those that like Bvlgari Tygar. Great review, as always!

Thanks man!! Yeah it's super solid and I'm glad I can really smell the woods coming through. I swear theyre using this ingredient called clearwood by Fermenich...suuuper nice dry cedar material to work with and one of my favorites! I have one or two of the Al haramains but not those ones so I'll have to check them out :)
@@topnotesfragrance Of course,my pleasure. I love woody notes like that and even when synthetic, those sometimes seem less synthetic than other fruity, herbal or brighter notes/materials. Yeah, it was a Musk series of 4 released earlier this year with an Amber Musk and Maliki Musk in the collection too. All very different but nice!

Totally buy!! It's still my fav grapefruit fragrance and one of my favorite woody frags and for a solid price! It's better than light blue forever by dolce and gabanna even IMO

I'm probably the only one but I've had this scent for several months and I just can't get my head around this one,try it retried it and I just do not like, maybe it is just me.
Dang man, sorry you don't like it! Is it too woodsy? I know the woody notes in this one can be a bit harsh at times!
No product in the world is liked by everyone. Personally I love it. Citrus explosion at first and when it dries down fine woods. 👌
Do you smell a juicy grapefruit? So many reviewers are saying this but I don't get that at all. I wouldn't even describe this as a citrus scent.
Cheap and synthetic, like a grapefruit sweet. The worst part is the awful performance - no projection and longevity is terrible. After 2 hours in the gym, it's really hard to smell. The whole way through, I have to put my nose right up to my skin or clothing to smell anything.

In my opinion it smelled less synthetic than many fragrances including the 1 armaf I have. It also was noticeable 8+ hours for me.
Is it similar with dc light blue Italian Love
honestly I think they're pretty far from each other especially because italian love seems to focus less on the grapefruit but I guess you could call it maybe a woodier version of light blue forever! I hope that helps man :)
