I live in South Florida, and yesss Turathi Blue last like 10 to 12 hours and this fragrance is very nice.
Bought Turathi and don't regret it. I'm a fan of blue fragrances such as Sauvage, Carbon, Dylan Blue, Bleu de Chanel, etc. I haven't tried Tygar. I tallied the votes on the first night I wore Turathi, 2 women went crazy for it, and my friend didn't like it. It's pretty sweet on my skin also. Great review. 👍

On my skin, its not so sweet...actually comes off like a smoky bitter citrus. Longevity after 12 sprays is great. Within the 10th hour, I'm still catching whiffs from my skin
I agree, I smell this one all day long myself. I think her description of this being a light ambroxan sent might be accurate. I actually purchased Sauvage elixir and I literally can't smell it on myself after a couple hours. From what I understand it is loaded with ambroxan.
Turathi blue is nowhere near as sweet as she claims it is. It smells like a classy man. Great stuff and really good quality

I was curious. The box and bottle says nothing about Blue. Just Turathi Afnan.
This is now gonna be my signature scent. It smells Soo sexy and nice. I love it so much. Just got it today. It's soooooo good. The grapefruit smells so beautiful, love love love it

I have turathi blue and it is not half as good as: Blue Talisman. In the last months so many youtuber say turathi blue is good. I am really wondering why. Maybe it is an cooperation with the brand ??? I think its ok but defenetly not very good or great. There are better options.
It's probably because the people that said it's good think it's good. This review is over a year old though and I've never heard of Blue Talisman.
Just received mine yesterday. Definitely has the Tygar vibe. Personally, I don’t get the BDC. Performance on me is a solid 8 hours (since I applied it as soon as it was delivered). I enjoy it so far. Looking forward to rocking this at church on Sunday.
I got a decant of Tygar and I'm with you. I think this performs better than Tygar though.
@@GlamFinds - That’s good to hear. I get around the same lasting power for both. It’s no secret that Tygar is pretty expensive, as well. So, with Tirathi Blue, and Alexandria Fragrances Black Panther (and others out there), we are covered in the less expensive side of Tygar. Thanks for the review and keep up the good work.

I find myself wanting that bright citrus scent A LOT nowadays...maybe cause spring is coming. But I still don't regret trading the large BDC-Parfum bottle for my DHI-2016 bottle.

I also have not smelled Tygar and I don't think you'd be able to smell Bleu de Chanel in it unless you're trying. That being said, this is a solid scent for the summer and safe blind buy. Very versatile. The citrusy bit lasts and lasts! Is it groundbreaking? No. Does it work? Yep! I agree with what Sara says, it is pretty redundant if you already have a few blue fragrances in your collection.
Got a decant of Tygar after this- holy cow are they Similar!

To me Dylan blue over this all day
I literally never wear blue fragrances and already own Dylan Blue, but for some reason something about this fragrance just calls to me. Dylan Blue was always a little dark for me, so this might be perfect.
This one is beautiful and bright. Perfect for tropical climates

Excellent description. This is my second day wearing it and I agree with everything you said. Many of the fragrance enthusiasts on RUclips described this as a juicy grapefruit scent in the opening. I don't get that at all. In fact, I wouldn't even describe it as a obviously fruity scent. It is a bright, fresh, spicy, bluish fragrance that has Musk in the dry down, which is my favorite part of the scent. I have three or four other musky scents and this is by far my favorite.
SHE IS A BRAND CONSCIOUS WOMEN !! Appreciate good perfumes from other brands as well

On my skin it's not very sweet. I would say it's as sweet as dylan blue, but less sweet that YSL Y EDP. It is sweeter than dior sauvage edt tho. I haven't tried Blue de Chanel, so I can't compare. I have to say, that it's as good as the designers I own. Definetely worth every cent. Performance is great too. I actually sold my Dylan Blue, because I find it redundant and I like it less than turathi blue😅
Dylan Blue is ok but it just didn't do anything for me.😢
Lol !!!! Dylan blue is a great perfume, Turathi blue dry down is very synthetic, kind of chemically plastic sort of liquid...Rasasi Hawas is way better than Turathi blue in a category of blue perfumes....

I have the afnan turathi blue and yessss! it lasts long and works well in humidity, I'm done searching for long lasting fragrances this one hits a Home Run! :)
There’s only a few YT reviews of Afnan Highness VI (blue), nothing on Fragrantica, one review on Parfumo; be the bellwether, just for me 😉.

I received the bottle of this as well, been wearing it all day today first wearing, not impressed at all. Smells like baby aspirin. To me this has a Hugo reverse vibe
Great job, as always. Almost pulled the trigger on this one a couple times now, each time I put it off in favorite of other stuff with the excuse of waiting for warmer weather.

I just got this one, and I am nose blind to it. A co-worker said I left a scent trail 😂 everywhere,but yeah when I get a closer whiff it's definitely one of my new favorites. The grapefruit is nice and the base of it too.

I legitimately can’t smell this fragrance. I love Bleu De Chanel and I haven’t smelled Tygar. I just can’t smell this no matter how many sprays. My wife can’t smell it either. My skin is very hydrated as well.

Among the 2 which is a better longevity and projection and loved by woman for the Spring/Summer/Autumn.
I want to confirm with YOU PERSONALLY because i'm hearing different opinons of the longevity and projection on them.
I get good performance from both- I don't know which one I like more but I'm leaning towards legacy bc it's easier to wear in high heat!
This is a beautiful fragrance and fantastic longevity for a freshie. I actually think this smells like louie vuitton afternoon swim , lovely fresh orange

I like it a lot and use it daily but it does not last long on my body or clothing...I work out doors.. So I would never describe this as beast mode

It doesn't smell like BDC to me at all. I don't own Tygar, UT if that's what it smells like, it's a fantastic fragrance! This one smells really fruity and sour which I like.
It grows on you lol I still like Tygar more but the price difference is wayyyy too much to justify
Is this worth it? I mean I love blue frags. Dylan blue, bdc, adg profumo, sauvage... and all the guys in that ballpark. I also cant stand realistic grapefruit. It has to be done very... smooth. It comes very sweet or sour or it simply smeels like a wet dog on me. But when done right, its amazin on me. I got 9pm, amazing. Modest une, amazing. I think Id like this one as well. I need something differet yet fresh.

Your review is right on the money. Turathi Blue is an amazing fragrance. I still smell it on my skin after a long day, and having a bath. So, basically 18-24 hours. On clothes? Phew, this lasts 48-72 hours easy with arms length projection (still catch whiffs of it whenever I walk past the shirt). Need to pick up 1-2 more bottles before it gets too popular and is reformulated. 😉
Lol it's so strong- getting through 3 bottles will take your whole life lol
@@GlamFinds lol... It'll surely take a while. But I don't want to miss out on a great fragrance. Plus I see this easily selling for $100-$150 in a couple of years if Afnan maintains this quality. Speaking of Missed opportunities, I missed out on ADG Profumo when it first came out. Ended up buying one years later and it was nowhere near as potent as the first batches. So... Willing to risk this one 😉

Great review Sarah! But honestly I don't get the fruitiness and sweetness part you talk about. To me it opens really bright with grapefruit and then goes kinda herbal, slightly green leaning. To me Dylan Blue is definitely sweeter.
Interesting again and again how different fragrances are experienced by different people.....
Well to be fair- on skin is where it really gets sweet to me and that's nothing new (although some sweet fragrances go darker on me... but it's rare)

Not a realistic Grapefruit which I'm so so thankful for! I was worried (I hate that rindy smell... it's the worst lol)
That's wild, so many people have stated that there's a bunch of grapefruit in the opening, I just don't get it at all. Not sure why.

I do find there to be a lot of ambroxen however. In case where I’ve worn the fragrance multiple days in a row, yes, I’ve gone nose blind.
Really? I get a perfect dose of ambroxan. Never go nose blind (which I prefer bc I hate that so much) but a good dose of amber. I think that they did a fantastic job on this one, quality is through the roof.

When this first came out, it and the other Turathi line were priced at 17 euros each! Wish I had snapped some up haha. Now they can’t even be found…
This one is pricier than most Afnan although the His Highness line is an additional $20 on top of the cost of this one...

On me it starts off sweet and then dries down kind of woody and a bit masculine. I'm definitely getting five plus strong hours and then it starts to fade for another five. I just ordered his Highness Blue from Afnan to compare...
I have 10mls of Tygar now and I can confirm that it's pretty much the same in the air, hard to tell a difference

@@ericnuval IF I pick it up, I will lol I'm kind of burnt out of that DNA. I sold my Hacivat, got rid of CDNIM edt (still have the edp) but mostly reach for either Cedrat Boise or Qasamat Rasana. I don't even really reach for my decant of Aventus, my 20ml is almost full lol

@@Composurezen I'm sorry .. I revisited this today.. LMAO You're right... This stuff becomes a skin scent after 25 mins and its pretty much undetectable.
I get over 10 hours easy. Let it sit a week or two because ME houses sometimes send this stuff out immediately after bottling.
I bought it a month ago and I also have problems with performance. But what bothers me most is the juice that is watered down to my nose. I have another blueish frag called Missoni pour homme and it's a beast in comparison to Turathi Blue. Maybe I got a bad batch. That is the first one from Fragbuy I am really disappointed.
