Isn't it crazy that Brooks actually calls himself a sovereign citizen in these early hearings. Then when Judge Dorow calls him out on it during the trial he literally says something like "that word you said, uh sovereign, uh I don't know what that means. i have enough to think about without worrying about your rulings". That's not how this works. Nobody would have been "stained". Defense attorneys play an important role in the judicial process, and have to advise their client, and make sure the prosecution prove their case. Even if the defendant pleas not guilty despite obvious evidence, everyone knows the attorneys' hands are tied and they were given an impossible case. It has no bearing on their reputation.

Which is why the state, the judge and even the PD advocated for him to represent himself. This was a tragedy, but it was not intentional. There are sound arguments to be made and accompanying evidence, but Brooks doesn’t have the capability or access necessary to present any of the above. Although it makes no difference bc the chances of even a single unbiased juror in Waukesha Co. was extremely unlikely even in the event he had counsel. This demon did not even have the human decency to accept a plea deal and spare his victims, he will surely get all that is coming to him and his mom (who gave him the vehicle despite knowing he does not have a driver's license). The victims should try to collect their medical bills/pain and suffering from his mom who is the registered owner of the vehicle with which they were injured through small claims.
