🛳 Your cruise cabin can make or break your trip! 🚪 What’s your best cabin tip, or is there something you always bring to make your stay more comfortable? Drop your thoughts below! 👇✨
I appreciate all the great planning tips. Id rather be well planned and prepared so that i can enjoy my cabin and cruise. Great tips to pack in packing cubes and super solutions to power issues on cruises. Liked and subscribed!
I bring a folding leather valet tray to corral jewelry, air pods, and other small items. I also bring a large trash bag to use as a hamper but the pop-up hamper would be an upgrade. 😊
We used to always get a balcony cabin. After a few years of realizing how much time we did NOT spend on our balcony we tried inside cabin. We especially liked the sideways inside cabin. The layout is different, and I like it. However, for Alaska cruise coming up next year we went for a balcony because hubby likes to do photography on the balcony. I love using packing cubes. One of the things I do is put masking tape on top of the packing cube with description of what is in there. IMHO magnetic hooks are a must! Hubby loves them. Because I am a diabetic and take shots I ask for a sharp's container for my needles. I always ask for extra pillows and one extra towel. We feel the same way about our room steward. We always give extra to them - some more than others. I think only once did we give a minimal extra amount because service was fair not great especially when I would ask for something and not get it until days later. Great informative video. Thanks for sharing! Glad I found your channel.
I’m glad you found my channel too. Thanks for the tip on the sharps container AND the tip to label packing cubes, so smart. Have a great time on your Alaska cruise. 🚢 😀
I recently took my first solo cruise to Alaska. I was able to upgrade to a verandah, which I had on all my previous cruises. It poured down rain all week and I only went out on the verandah a couple of times. I won’t get a verandah again.
Thanks for the printable checklist and links for the items you mentioned. Your information is so helpful as I am getting ready for my first cruise!!! 😄😄 What size suitcase do you recommend for a week cruise?
Glad you liked the list. With all my lotions and potions and hair taking devices I take a full sized suitcase. My husband can get away with a carry on size. 😊. Really the only reason to downsize is to avoid the fee with the airlines, but to keep it is worth it so that I can pack an extra pair of shoes. 😊
I take a pop up hamper in our RV now. I will bring it when we go on a cruise. I also think I need some of those portable chargers. Are there laundry mats on cruise ships? Just in case I need to wash some clothes.
RC does not have laundromats on their ships. Princess does but my last cruise so many people were using them and a bunch were broken so it was hard to use them.
Some cruise lines have self-service laundry. All have laundry service. Some lines are affordable and some are expensive. Prices should be listed on the cruise lines’ website so you’ll know before you go.

We stay in our dabin quite a bit. We are fine with inside
Watch for adjoining rooms, also..
Good catch. Thanks! 😀😎🚢

If you are an RVer you know how to make the most of tight spaces. And, many cruise lines do have laundry facilities. Thanks for watching!😊

That’s a bummer, particularly if you are on a long sailing and counting on it. Does RC have a laundry service? I’ve never sailed on RC.
put dirty laundry in a scented, tall kitchen trash bag
That is a great idea. Thanks for sharing! 😀
