- Ahh the Bohemian town of Hebden Bridge... a true little gem of West Yorkshire. There's so much to see and do in Hebden Bridge but here is how I spent the day - snooping out Ed Sheeran's house on Birchcliffe Road and sniffing out the best cup of coffee!
Hebden Bridge is a market town in the Upper Calder Valley in West Yorkshire, England. It is 8 miles (13 km) west of Halifax and only a short picturesque drive from Manchester. I'd very much recommend a little visit. Plus, recently Hebden Bridge was voted the Lesbian capital of the UK. So there's a fact for you!
Hope you enjoy!

This brightened my night up so much! , you're videos honestly give me so much calm and escape. Not being able to sleep because of anxiety at the moment and I always come to your channel to calm me down and get great travel tips whilst I'm at it 😅. Sending you so much love and light, thank you for sharing your trips with us. You have such a beautiful energy! Xx
AHHHHH REALLY? You've just put the biggest smile on my face. So sorry you're going through this at the moment. Anxiety sucks. Especially at night! I hope you can get out somewhere nice soon to clear your head - sometimes a cup of tea and some fresh air works really well for me! Hopefully this will pass. But in the meantime, I'm so glad your getting a little joy from my videos. Thank you for taking the time to let me know!
@@BellaDiary Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. Tea and fresh air is definitely a great cure, just getting into nature definitely helps. Hoping to book a B&B by the sea hopefully soon! A nice break by the seaside is always a tonic.
Thanks 😃! A great day trip to Heiden Bridge, a great place to visit 👍!! Cheers, Don 👋
Glad you enjoyed it! thanks so much for watching - it's such a great little place!!
Wow! Compared to alot of towns we've seen in the UK ,,HB looks very inviting and kooky, would like to hire a narrow boat and hang out there for abit so i can fully explore this sweet little spot, also would love to see Hawick.
Sorry for my late reply!!! It’s a fab place and I think you’ll love it! Let me know if you do go 🤍
Another great video. So many places I need to visit. Thanks 🙏
There really are so many places close to home to explore aren’t there! Thanks for watching Rob :)
Looks like a cute little place... and that pizza looks so good! Loved the bloopers!
It was delicious you know!!!! But I love ALL pizzaaaaa ahahha
We love you Sam. Best female vlogger on RUclips and I seriously mean that. Your videos blow me away and oh I actually visited HB today after watching your video as I'm from Bradford so it's not too far.
An excellent channel Sam and very well-produced videos of your travels and vlogs. You could definitely teach the BBC a trick or two here! 😃 Well done and keep up the good work. All the best, Patrick 👍
BEST COMMENT EVERR!!! Thank you!! x
Hey that's lovely to know, and it was a pleasure 😃
We're staying over in Hebden Bridge in a couple of weeks and I found this super useful! Looks lovely. I'm a sucker for an independent coffee shop 🤣

Hello from California ☀️
Hellooooo from Manchester! Hope you're doing so so well Amber :)
What a beautiful place ¡¡¡
It really is!! It's so very pretty! x
Loving your hair Sam 🥰🥰🥰
Girrrl! Thank you!! It looked fine when I got out out of the hairdresser and then I washed it and the fringe looked so short!! I really wasn't sure about it ahaha but maybe I'll get used to it!
Wow I never new Hebden Bridge could be that ascetic I live there it’s usually dull most of the time ):
I lived in Hebden bridge in the 60-70s , had a friend who owned that big house where ed lived.I lived just round the corner. The house was owned by the Jones family a wealthy businessman. When he died his wife and son lived downstairs and all the rooms were rented out for an income.
Looking on Google I don’t think that’s the house, his house was further down the hill just after that step corner about 200 metres from where you’re stood
I love Hebden Bridge ✝️🌈🌹😍🌷🦋🥰😇 Colden Clough has lovely walking routes and Heptenstal x x x I didn’t know Ed Sheeran had lived there..or was born there? X x x

It's a bit of a late upload from me today - sorry! But I hope you enjoy this Hebden Bridge travel vlog :)
You've finally been! And it's ai much more famous than ed sheeran! I didn't even know he was from there
I love you so much pagli 🥰
sister. where are you!
we don't see you anymore 😧
Why do you want to varnish the wood coaster? It's good as it is. You want it untreated so that it can better absorb the excess moisture from your cup.
We didn’t varnish in the end actually so let’s see if it looks okay on our coffee table! Just worried about the coffee staining the wood x
@@BellaDiary That's what coasters are supposed to do. Take a beating, so that the table is protected. The whole aim is to protect the table, not the coaster.
@@laki74 you’re absolutely right with that!! Will take the advice and keep the coasters as they aren
Hello from india great video
Hello there! Thank you!
Maybe another time you should stay for a weekend then you can film the real beauty of Hebden Bridge and learn something of its history
Oh I would love to! We were only there for a few hours but had we been there for longer, you’re absolutely right! There’s so much more to discover!
@@BellaDiary a film company has just wrapped up a Blockbuster 6 part TV series in and around Hebden Bridge and its amazing time warp village Heptonstall.
Watch out for the Gallows Pole about Easter time on BBC
Hate telling story tellers about what they have missed but I trust you enjoy places like Hebden
Google its villages and the beauty around it
*Heptonstall
*Hebden Old Town
*Hardcastle Crags
*Sylvia Plath
*Cragg Vale coiners(The Gallows Pole is about this murdering gang
I love you, you have a funny face
Dreams of hang ups
your content is good, thank you for sharing, let's continue the friendship
Sounds good!
I know you r from Manchester so U r a bit biased! But don’t you feel Yorkshire is more beautiful everything from Lancashire?
I am from Manchester... but I have a secret love for Yorkshire. I think it's just so so beautiful. Shhhh don't tell my fellow Mancunians! ahaha
@@BellaDiary :) haha. Okay! I can see you visit here often ! I m going to go to Scarborough soon. I lived just close to you on northern quarter for few years then moved to Yorkshire.
Sorry for my late reply! You’ll have the best time in Scarborough! One beautiful coastal town. Did you visit yet?
@@BellaDiary yes. I did. it was awesome, highly recommended! next time I m going to Robin Hood Bay
Watching your videos while, Keep it up Love from Sri Lanka ❤
Awesome! Thank you!
Miss you😢
Who's Ed Sheeran !!? 😂 No seriously lovely video again guy's and loved the bloopers. Just one tiny teeny thing I found the volume a little high at the beginning I found it hard to hear you. Or was that a ploy to get me to view it twice, Which I do anyway. Ha ! O! and it's Pizza from now on then. 😜
I KNEW IT!! I edited this one through headphones and it sounded okay - but when I pressed publish I KNEW it was too quiet! dammit ahahaha. Thanks for watching despite the sound - and it's pizza until I find the next place for fish and chips! Hoping to head to Cornwall this summer so will be sniffing out the best chippies there!
@@BellaDiary Ok! I lived in Cornwall for 22 years. I ended up in a cottage in the village of Piece Nr. Redruth. "The Country man" pup is just across the road from the cottage, It used to do awesome food. If Nick is still the owner say hi from Stephen who lived across the road. If you stand in front of the pub and look out you should be able to see many Tin Mine chimneys. Right Fish and Chips try Troon Fish and chip shop it's near Camborne. A lot of history there Redruth ,The first town ever to have gas lighting, William Murdock's house is still there and Camborne of course Mr. Trevithick and his steam engine. So much to see and do. :)
Aw man you’ve got me in the mood for pizza now 🤤😂
I'm always in the mood for pizzaaaa ahahhaha
Best way is get a mountain bike!
I’ve not been on a bike since I was a kid! Maybe I need to give it another go!
@@BellaDiary its brilliant! Have a look at some of my video's from hebden bridge
@@RideBikes_Walkplaces will have to have a look when I’m home! Thanks so much!
Ed who?
Hi baby I'm biggest fan you
Sweet Girl
Be careful now as Ed Sherman has employed a whole team of ginger haired Security guards to stop snoopers!!
AHAHAHAHAHAHA!! I'm ready for him and his whole team...
Hebden is such a tolerant lovely place. I feel the town should be looking at housing some of the refugees crossing the channel. The town I feel will welcome these people unlike other bigoted places.
I knoooowwwwww! I completely agree with you. The vibe here is so happy, open, welcoming and wholesome! one of my favourite places!
@@BellaDiary I think people should petition this, help them to settle in Hebden Bridge. A small Mosque to help them feel welcomed.
