- Nigel Farage announced his political comeback on Tuesday “vowing to take on the Tories himself”, says Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi.
“The television presenter and Brexiteer also reclaimed his leadership of the right-wing Eurosceptic Reform Party,” Ms Panahi said.
“Who has been giving the Conservative Party trouble ever since their founding in 2018 as the Brexit Party.”
Vote Reform, the other candidates aren't fit for purpose.
I'd like to see a debate with Mr Sunak and Nigel. He'd run rings round him. 😂

Historically the right wing is liberalism. Left wing is communism. Centre right ( the third way) is fascism.
I actually think he would have been a very classical liberal back in the 19th century. Not even rightwing, though that's debateable.

Even granting that questionable arrangement, given the fact that original movements often begin with figures with vastly different positions than those who would later lead them decades/centuries later, I think this isn't a useful characterization.
We have to look at issues piecemeal and in context.

Northern Ireland have a proportional representation voting system so to say the UK have a first past the post system is technically incorrect.

His vanity got the better of him, this was strategiacally inept, it will cost seats to Tories and damage the actually reduce the influence of the right in the party. Only Labour will benefit. Speaking here as soemoen who is quite sympathetic to Farage's politics (although he doesn't really have any credible policies on economic matters etc., it is easy to criticize other when you have never had any responsibility or even had a parliamentary seat). Brexit, which I voted for, has actually destroyed the Tories.
