Im having and onslaught of Japanese Beetles This year ! Help

Reality is you can hand knock them into a large mouth bottle with soapy water or pre-emptively use milky spore but beetles will come from other yards. No good solution they will dissapear and severely damaged canna cut to ground.

Canna lily are left in the ground here to zone 6. Some people have them come back in zone 5 planted by the house or similar.
