I never would imagine that would come out with a 72 Duster with the correct seats and roof line. I can finally build another replica of my Duster 340. Wow!
I remember AMT had a series of thrill driver cars, and had issued a car carrier with Ford C-900 cab to haul them. The cars were 49 and 50 fords. Maybe that’s in the future. Cool. As a kid I’d watch the hell driver show at my county fair. 😎👍🏻
The Hellcat Charger and 72 Duster are cool as is the KW Aerodyne, but other than that nothing else is really exciting. The SS Lasher would have been nice if they had back dated it to a 71
I wish, I have kept my original aerodyne kit.😮 The offer I received. I just could not say no too! Soon, I'll be able to buy two of those kits to replace the one. I used to have!
I hope Round 2 is making money, as I think they have rejuvenated the hobby a bit. Nice to see some of the kits being re-released with new parts and decals. Looking forward to seeing that 76 Nova in the stores. The 79 Nova is a great kit.
What is the outlook for quality water transfer decals being produced? Not in China preferably. They should check out Champion Graphics. They produce Atlantis' Models decals.
I'm personally digging the KW Aerodyne, though I also have to say its been a LONG time since the SSlasher has been out! I built one in the late 70s as a kid!
Any idea if that ‘65 Dodge is the original Ramchargers kit from 1965 or are they going to reissue the snap kit with a Hemi? When will that be out? Thanks
James! Excellent coverage of the vendors area and the Round 2 table. I'm interested in the 72 Chevelle SSSlasher that would be coming out? There's just been too many 69-70 chevelles that I think the 71-72 chevelles would be a fresh face to the modeling community looking for "other" 70s Chevelles
If you're looking for a 71/72 Chevelle kit, MCW has resin versions of both, that's the closest thing to what you're interested in, you can use the 70 for everything else underneath
I’m a big fan of AMT and Round 2, have been for over 40 years. The reissues are nice but there’s nothing really exciting. Where are the all-new tools of cars that have never been available? Or backdate / update some existing tooling. Is that really the extent of their ‘new’ releases?
It’s all a numbers game. All new tooling costs huge money. Modifying a couple pieces costs big money as well. Straight reissues are cheap. The company wants to make a profit so the second two options are the best for them. The first is a hard sell. The all new kits HAVE to be a slam dunk with multiple reissue choices. Therefore something odd or maybe unique just won’t cut it for the tooling dollars.
I never would imagine that would come out with a 72 Duster with the correct seats and roof line. I can finally build another replica of my Duster 340. Wow!
Hi Eddie, yes it’s a modified new tooling using parts from the Demon. There’s also a suprise that I can’t talk about yet.
I had the same car only I just had a 318, but it was still awesome!
MPC SSlasher Chevelle and the 60 Ford Starliner, Gotta get
That Chevelle is pretty popular. I think it’ll do well for them.
Love seeing new products coming out....
Me too! It’s always exciting👍
Love the classic artwork. Not to mention the Charger Pursuit and the ‘59 Cadillac ambulance, too.
I agree Trail, my friend Sean does some of the artwork for the boxes.
Nice look at the new releases. Thanks for sharing.
Of course Michael! Thanks for watching👍
Can’t wait for the Mustang II!
There are a lot of people waiting for that kit. Maybe the aftermarket will make the parts to make it a cobra.
@@ScaleModelExperimentoh yeah….cause I was waiting for the Cobra as well

It's probably a 4-cylinder maybe? - 2.3 Pinto motor?
I love the mustang II. Cannot wait either!
Some exciting stuff coming!
I’m really wanting the hellcat and Duster. I’ll most likely buy the coronet as well. The last time it came out the decals were horrible z
Omg. The 1960 nomad? Am I dreaming? Cannot wait! I gonna buy 3 of them!
Hi Peter, I wouldn’t be suprised to see another version as well…
You could modify it into Parkwood and Brookwood versions. Thats my plan.
I remember the Hell Drivers on the shelf back in the day. I know several people waiting for the Hellcat!!!! Thanks for sharing
I too am excited for the hellcat. I’ll build that one on the channel for sure.
Very cool! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Larry👍
thanks for sharing ! that '65 dodge and duster are my list of must haves !
So glad that you enjoyed the video. I’ve always liked the 65 Dodge and the Duster is a welcome addition to my stash as well.
Cool models. 👍
Thanks GFIP👍
Wow that’s awesome. Can’t wait for the hellcat. Go round 2 !!
I talked with Steve, early next year for the Hellcat
The Hellcat Charger and 72 Duster are cool as is the KW Aerodyne, but other than that nothing else is really exciting. The SS Lasher would have been nice if they had back dated it to a 71
Hi David, I’m looking forward to the Dodge and Plymouth myself. I may buy the Chevelle too
I'll take a couple of those mopower funny cars! Thanks for showing these new kits
That one seems pretty popular!
That’s a lot of nice stuff. Thanks for sharing. Have a great one
Thanks for watching Roy👍
Nice new kits there, already seen Louie build some of them and he had nice things to say about them. Thanks for sharing James 👍🏼
Right, Louie has the inside track on new AMT kits. I enjoy sharing this kind of content with the community👍
I'm going to go broke! Thanks James! 😎👍
Haha, better start doing odd jobs 😁
Great new lineup for most all - be nice if they'd retooled 72 Chevelle grille for clear headlights tho, so it'd be an improvement to the ones I have.
Yeah completely agree. Clear headlights make a huge difference in realism. Might have to modify that front to accept some clear lenses.
I wish, I have kept my original aerodyne kit.😮
The offer I received. I just could not say no too!
Soon, I'll be able to buy two of those kits to replace the one. I used to have!
Yes! My buddy Steve is killing it at AMT bringing back old kits that haven’t been out for a long time.
I see a wicked hearse in that 59 Cadillac. Took me a minute to see the Plymouth funny car is a 73-74 road runner. Cool
Thanks for watching Fubar, yes the MoPower is a 73/74. I think we are going to see a lot of those online.
I hope Round 2 is making money, as I think they have rejuvenated the hobby a bit. Nice to see some of the kits being re-released with new parts and decals. Looking forward to seeing that 76 Nova in the stores. The 79 Nova is a great kit.
Yes, my buddy Steve is doing well at AMT bringing out the kits that people really want to see again.
What is the outlook for quality water transfer decals being produced? Not in China preferably. They should check out Champion Graphics. They produce Atlantis' Models decals.
I'm still waiting for AMT to bring out a 1967/68 Mustang COUPE (notchback)! Still waiting AMT!!!
Oh yeah, they haven’t done that version yet!
thanks for the video James
Thanks for watching Sean👍
I can't wait for that charger i also want to get that duster
You and me both Carl! The charger is due early next year. Not sure when the Duster is coming.
I'm liking the starliner
Yes, that’s the street machine version that hasn’t been out in a while.
We have them now at Walmart.
I'm personally digging the KW Aerodyne, though I also have to say its been a LONG time since the SSlasher has been out! I built one in the late 70s as a kid!
Hi James, I’m glad that you’ll get to re-live your childhood and build it again.
Got too have Mopower!
With a name like Mopar Nut I’d expect you to want a kit called MoPower👍
Can’t wait there are a lot of those I want
I’m looking forward to a few of them as well Rob👍
Any idea if that ‘65 Dodge is the original Ramchargers kit from 1965 or are they going to reissue the snap kit with a Hemi? When will that be out? Thanks
The 65 Coronet is a reissue of the polar lights kit.
Lookin good James 👍
Thanks for watching BK👍

@HfYr-p3e right! The new kit will be out in a few months.
I hunted for that mopower funny for a long time got one and a rebuilder now they will bring it out will have to get one more.
Yes Horton, you may have to buy 2😁
Is that 65 Olds 88 modified stocker being rereleased??
Yes that’s coming soon!
@@ScaleModelExperimentawesome!!!! Thanks brother!
Cool
Thanks Travis👍
I hope at some point someone will make a 2023 "Last Call" Challenger.
You and me both Pete! I really love the 2015 and newer Challengers.
A couple interesting ones though it looks as though I'll be saving money and shelf space in 2025.
I understand👍 I have plenty as well😂
Still like to see the Super Modified Camero and Mustang .
I’m sure if they can, they will re release those too.
I remember paying $3.99 for some of these when I was a kid. They’re 10 times more expensive these days. Same kits.
Hi Barry, yes inflation and time…
76 Nova…perfect for a 76 Ventura…anyone able to make a Ventura nose for it?
Now that’s interesting! Hmmm I bet a 3d designer could make that!
Why don't some one repop the vintage snowmobile models
That’s interesting. How many kits came with snowmobiles?
I’m a big fan of AMT and Round 2, have been for over 40 years. The reissues are nice but there’s nothing really exciting. Where are the all-new tools of cars that have never been available? Or backdate / update some existing tooling. Is that really the extent of their ‘new’ releases?

@@ScaleModelExperiment Revell seem to manage it, so do Beemax, Tamiya, Aoshima, Airfix…
Just cars and trucks?
At this show it was appropriate to only show cars and trucks.
Great. When will we see them. Any chance of seeing a 63 fairlane?
@@JamesKristl hi James, the release dates are varied. Some not till next year.
