    I miss her so much. She should have been one of the biggest stars and most respected singers EVER. Her talent had no bounds.

    I remember when this album came out. My dad bought my mom a copy. That night my mom cooked a delicious dinner, we ate and listened to this CD all night, it was great......Still love Phyllis music. It transcends time, she was one classy, regal lady......RIP Phyllis Hyman 🙏💐💕

    Phyllis so amazing and notice she breaths so properly when she sings. She knows how to use her diaphragm muscles when singing.

    When you get right down to it! This gorgeous talented woman can Chirp!!!! Some great R&B artist came out of philly. Phyllis Hyman, Frankie Beverly, Patti Labelle, Barbara Mason, DeeDee Sharp, Solomon Burke, Teddy Pendergrass, McFadden and Whitehead, Billy Paul, Blue Magic, Tammi Terrell, Stylistics, Intruders, Delfonics, Three Degrees, Boyz ll Men, Chubby Checker, Jill Scott, Eve, The Roots, Lisa " left eye " lopes, Evelyn " Champagne " King, Hall and Oates, Rachelle Ferrell, Sister Sledge, The Trammps, Brenda and the Tabulations, Grover Washington Jr. My Legendary philly Dj cuz Sonny Hopson use to spin those vinyls back in the day on radio station WHAT. Just representing! 😊👍👏

    Uncle Eric Jones is singing background. He passed away just one year after Phyllis. I was still very young, but I remember seeing him perform with the tall lady in the big hats n jewelry. Miss you, Unc!

      I know exactly how you feel. After she left us, it took a long time before I could even listen to her songs. It's still hard. So underrated and such a loss.

      I was locked up in 1995 when she died, I wanted to cry, but I was locked up, and had to be strong. But I got under the covers in my bunk and screamed loud in anguish and sadness.

    Get on outta here! I see what everyone is talking about the entire performance and those background vocals.🙌🙌👍. My dream job would be to do background vocals in studio and on tour. She was so gifted. Her vocal talent is so pure. This is one of my favorite songs and at least my 6th time watching this😁😁. I think Phyllis may have had Graves Disease too.

    She looked so stable, sober, and happy here. I think she was ok when she was on the road touring. She loved being on stage, but it was when she went home.

      By 1991 she had attempted suicide twice officially.
      I think everyday might have been a challenge under those circumstances, some days good some days bad, but on the road definitely not the best place I feel.
      Either way, she gave it her all till she could give no more. R.I.P. Queen!
