    Thanks! I'm 81 years old and was frustrated by the constant buffering after the upgrade. I tried your plan and thankfully it seems to be working! Tanggula should offer a solution in their own video. Thanks again.

    Definitely helped. Don't have 'Picture' in developer options on my X1. Also don't have a restart option.

      Glad it worked for you, it has helped me but not completely some channels buffer while others don't a lot better though.

      @@carsinruin6102 it was buffering for me earlier I go into settings and change stream format to HLS and in player selection change live player native to live player decoder or vice versa. Exit app at home screen go to settings then apps force stop tangtv app then clear cache then restart tangtv box from settings device preferences.

    I did this and yay it worked. Now next day, turn back on and damn! Back to buffering like every 45 to 60 seconds. I can't keep this up. It ruins watching TV. What else can we try?
    I've changed hdmi port, changed pic size, unplugged, cleared cache, cleared broom. The super bowl is coming on later today! I can't, I just can't. I realize this box is basically a no-no but I paid good money to be able to watch good TV. Any other suggestions, bring em. Tang said it was because they had not finished updating channels but that's not feasible when it's on every channel.

      Yeah the super bowl was buffering really bad. So I'm starting to think the problem is the update itself and the fact that more people have the tangtv so their servers are getting a lot of traffic. I used vsee1 pro during super bowl no buffering and no issues with wireguard VPN connection on this box.

      @@NO-END I told Tang chat just that. It is the update. Fix it, then we can try it. Things are falling apart individually. My epg is corrupted now. They say clear data, do this, do that. I'm tired of losing favorites and having to start over. 😪

    i updated my elite max buffering like crazy !! i went into settings and deleted update then re-installed update and watched the royal rumble last night no problems !! if anyone does this i hope it works!!!

    What other tv boxes have you used? Do you like any of them better?
    The tangula is problematic and I what to try a different one.

      I also have Superbox S3 Pro and Vsee V1 pro. I like tang the best because it has the most content, but I like Vsee box because hardly any channels are down, and Superbox has a lot of content but have more offline. Superbox and Vsee box I can use wireguard connection for my VPN but with tangtv I can only use IKE2 IPSec and OpenVpn.

    I usually unplug the tanggula box for 1 minute and the buffering stops. If it doesn't and buffers every 30 seconds I unplug the Internet modem/router and that fixes it

    I have gigabit service and my X5 box is hard-wired, typical speeds are around 825Mbps. I have tried everything and TangTV still buffers all of the time. I suspect the problem is on their end because when I exit the TangTV app and launch RUclips, I can play videos their, even 4K videos, and there is no buffering at all. Someone said though that that is not a fair comparison because RUclips is not the same as live tv. I say the source server is still the culprit!

      I agree at this point they are also saying that you need to exit the app properly which I have always done. Also, it seems like it's only live app movies and series don't buffer.

    After I updated to the new program The icon broom for stopping the not used programs has disappeared.Do you know how to get it back?

      You can uninstall the tangtv app and reinstall it. You won't have it run tgg updater if you reinstall the app.

    Followed the steps, but still had buffering. Had to unplug the HDMI cable and then plug it back in. No more buffering! Like magic!

    There is now a buffering warning in the box when the tangtv app is opened. To avoid the buffering, please exit the tang tv app normally.

    I followed the steps and the buffering keeps coming back, another temporary fix is just a quick reboot.

    I have the tanggula elite max, under device preference I do not have developer options choice nor do I have the broom or vpn but I still get buffering don’t understand why. Tang tech support been running me in circles.

    Bro i have 5 gig internet and before the update all 3 of my tangtv box worked perfectly before the update. As soon as i update 2 of them, they both stopped working good, now it buffers and freezes on every channel and movie but the one that I did not update still works perfect. I trieed everything, switching to tv mode, mobile, external players, wired ethernet connection, vpn, no vpn, factory reset, play around with decoder settings, everything. The customer service doesnt believe me that its the update, they keep telling me the issue is on my end and not the update but thats bullshit because the one i didnt update still works perfect and the 2 i updated is having issues. I even tried to bring then to my parents house and the same thing, the 2 updated ones have problems and the one i didnt update works perfect. The customer service sucks they dont help at all. Thankfully i was still within the 30 days return policy i returned all of them and purchased a Superbox Elite 2, and its the best choice i ever made. Tangula only has 1 app Tangtv and when tangtv doesnt work just like from this stupid update, then u have nothing u can do about it, but with superbox elite 2, there is like 5 or 6 apps that all have livetv and VOD, and they all work great but if one of them ever doesnt work, i can use one of the other 6 apps, its awesome man, i tried them all, i got the veesee pro v1 too and i tried the superbox s3 too but superbox elite 2 shits all over any other box. Trust me on this , fuck tangula

    I unplugged power cord for a few sec.... The buffering stopped.

      yeah I recommend that everyone should unplug box when not in use. When you unplug it do it from the outlet and NOT from the back of the box because the tang box is plastic and over time from unplugging and plugging it in the power port develops a short.

      VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. It's a service that you can pay for that hides your location and encrypts your data while connected to the internet. There are several ones out there I one I use is VPN Unlimited from Keep Solid because its lifetime membership, but there are better ones that offer monthly and year subscription like Nord VPN and Express VPN.       Tang support is the worst man, i been begging them to help me with this and i even offered to ship my boxes to them so they can see its the update and not my internet connection, they wont belive me that the update fucked up these boxes, i know for a fact its the update because i have 3 boxes and 2 of them are updated and as soon as i updated them and opened tangtv it has given me problems but the 1 i did not update still works perfect. They are pretending that i am the only one with this issue but now I know they are lying because i see you and all the people who commented on this video have the same issue

      @@longisland6716 Right! They don't even answer the question that you ask. I asked them why my X5 box doesn't update automatically, even though it is set to do that every day. Their answer was to check and see if I was in TV mode and switch if not and then reboot.
