Jason I tried to update the KDMC app which I think is Kodi, It got deleted. Can you update to the newest version example 20.1? Or do I need to do a factory reset. Thanks

Hi Jason, I just purchased the new X5 2023 tv box. I am experiencing a lot of lag and freezing. Pretty much on all channels. Did many of the troubling options and still no resolve. I have new router, ethernet cable and my cable company (Spectrum) came and checked all wiring but still having issues. Any advice. I just cleared cache and it did not clear my favorites. Thank you.
Hi. It's not just you the problem is with Tanggula, not your equipment. Try using the backup apps, they work a lot better. Tanggula told me they are working on this problem, but that was a month ago. So who know when it will be fixed.

Hello Jason and everybody here. I just got me a used X5, same you are showing here. Everything seems to be working ok. I did the factory reset and will not connect to my wifi in home. Will not connect before or after the factory reset. I checked my pass and it is alright. Do you have any config to help me connect. I have to say the wifi on the Tanggula box is working as it find other wifi from the neighbors , I also was able to connect using my phone hotspot. Any help please will be appreciate.
Is your Wifi 2.4G - 5.8G or 6G?

Hey man, having an issue connecting to wifi. My wifi name comes up but fails to connect. Connects to ethernet just fine, but I'm needing to move my router so ethernet won't be possible anymore. Wifi used to connect just fine. Thinking of factory resetting as well to try that but wanted to see if you experienced or have had any messages about this wifi issue before I do.
No, this is the first. Did you try connecting to 2.4G wifi not the 5G?
@JasonTech gateway is set to auto and I've never had problems before. Will make a new connection using only 2ghz and try that
Hey I just trie to add the tang app it says 404 page not found I checked it 3 times and it’s correct. Can you help. Or did they change the app.
No the app is still the same. Check your internet connections and reboot the box and try it again.

I wish I could but the buffering is from Tanggula. I tried everything and I get 1 or 2 days working great then the buffering start again. If I find a fix, I will post a video on it.

Try clearing the cache in setting - apps - tangtv. Then try refreshing the EPG, like I did in this video.
go to your Homepage > settings > apps > Tang TV > clear data. This unfortunately clears your favorites, but has helped with my failed EPG issue
What if you reinstall the app, and you keep getting "Warning please contact technical support for this error #1"? How do you contact them anyway?
Yeah, I am also getting this message. I try to start the app - and I immediately see this with no link for help, no information on an update to install, etc. Restarting the box didn't help. Forcing the app to stop and then restarting didn't help. There is no update available for the box, and I don't know where to go to see if there is a new update to the TangTV app (3.0.9.16 is what I have installed now).
Error #1 is a server problem. It's usually back up in a couple of hours.

Never got that msg. Try going to setting - Apps - forces close the tangtv app and clear cache.
I tried what you suggested but it keeps giving the same message. I am using a 2022 Box. Other apps work but not Tanggula. It keeps giving same message to contact tech services and says quit under neath it.Thanks for your help.
I just tested 3 different models of boxes, they all are giving the same message. I just sent them an email just waiting to hear back. I will keep you posted.

@JasonTech when I go through the steps and got to click on Tanggula it opens up like it's going in and then nothing, right back to the apps page.
I just tried everything again step by step and Tang TV doesn't open.
