I've stumbled across your video today and we are visiting universal this year for the first time in 15 years so I'm loving watching this! I can get really bad anxiety waiting in ride queues which are indoors and have only realised in the last week I could consider a pass. Is it anxiety you suffer from?

Really means a lot. 🥹 I have a diagnosed stomach condition and sometimes I can get unpredictable pain, discomfort and need to b-line to the loo so they approved me the disability pass. Disney is fairly relaxed but at Universal they do require a doctors note. You do it through the IBCCES app or online and it’s pretty straight forward. If you’re able to ask you doctor for a note (I did that) explaining how serve your anxiety is and upload it to the app and create a form I’d be surprised if you don’t get approved. 🙂🫶🏼

Hello! Thank you, that really means a lot. Yes! We booked our time at HRH on top of our time at Pop. It was such a faff doing it any other way, more so confusing than anything else. ❤
I am toying with a stay at Universal during Christmas/New Year. It certainly looks like Disney feels more ‘Christmasy’ than Universal. I have shortlisted the Portofino Bay Hotel because it just looks more special than the Hard Rock (and for the Express passes obvs). And after your stay I don’t want to stay at the Hard Rock. Would you say staying in a club room is worth the extra perks?. I can’t do simulator rides full stop. 5 seconds after they start I get the chunder sweats and have to close my eyes. Flight of Passage made me feel very nauseous. I just can’t do it. Great vlog again, looking forward to the next instalment.
Thank you so much! ✨ Not sure I made it clear but we stayed club level at Hard Rock and I do rate it, not sure whether we would do that at Portofino. The walk to Hard Rock is 10 mins so it makes it so convenient especially to grab waters or a coffee, even more snacks - it's so expensive in the parks. I feel Portofino is a bit further away so when we stay there next I'm not sure how inclined we'd be to nip back, that's my only thoughts. Absolutely LOVED city walk, being able to dip out of the parks and grab food was ideal and definitely more quiet. It is all down to personal preference though and I do manage better on a relaxed-ish pace so think staying even one night at a universal hotel is amazing! @@graceoliviasue Convenience is exactly why I choose to stay at the Boardwalk when at Disney. I guessed you had a club room at the Hardrock. Do you think the extra cost was worth the extra ‘perks’. Citywalk is much more convenient than Disney Springs in relation to the parks and nipping in and out. I also like a quiet hotel in a quiet resort, it’s nice to spend time out of the parks in a quiet resort. I will definitely will be eating at cowfish! The sushi looked delicious. Thank you for making your content a breeze to watch.
Seems you and I are definitely on the same page, completely agree with you! I really do think the perks were worth it. Andrew loves the buffet breakfast at the Hard Rock but honestly, I could have had breakfast AND lunch just at the club lounge. It's all 'free' there's a lot of variety and I really liked it. They had proper coffee in there too. So, to be able to sit down in the morning eat as much of a continental breakfast as you want and have a double espresso, you're laughing. PLUS, if you're mega savvy, bring sandwich bags and take some pastries into the park with you. That's the Hard Rock though, not sure what club level is like at Portofino. We're thinking of staying there when we come back just got to do the research. 👀
