OMG! I accedently stumbled to this video. This is pure Blues extasy!!! With Chris's virtuosity and Meena's vocals followed by ever so subtle beat from a drummer this is closest to my imagination of what the Blues would sound if by some magic, somehow, someone put together legends like Janis Joplin and Gary Moore (God rest their souls). Of course I do not want to make comparison, just want to express how deeply I am impressed. Thank you Meena, thank you Chris I haven't heard better Blues interpretation for a loooong time. You really touched me to my core.

Wondering if I would visit a Blues Festival, I heard this tune from one of the listed bands. I thought I recognized the tune as a cover, but then the singing was different. Wow very good, but the guitar must be fan of Stevie Ray Vaughan, because this is very close to Stevie's Tin Pan Alley and other of his riffs. I'm happy I got to know the Chris Fillmore band and will definitely go see them this weekend in my home town !!
I've seen and heard this band play this song many times, always well, but this version is the bees knees! If Meena were US American she would be a world star. Being an Austrian doesn't help in the world music charts. The medium is: Forget the music, what nationality is the singer and the band?! Not to say, of course, that the music industry is racist.... But how many Europeans (outside the UK) are recognised in USA? And this is not to suggest that all Trumplanders are racist, of course.
That and she sings the blues. In the States if you aren’t a pop, country (which is basically pop these days) or hip hop act, good luck getting any sort of exposure beyond a 50 miles radius from your house. I know some of the best musicians in the world live in Cleveland, OH, and unless you live there, you’ve never heard of them.
