Carol Burnett and Whoopi Goldberg - Mother Daughter Scene (2/2)

This is the great Mother and Daughter Scene with Whoopi Goldberg and Carol Burnett from the 1987 TV Special Carol, Carl, Whoopi and Robin. I searched for it for years. The quality is not great but it is the only version available on the internet so far.
I have to thank chubbchsr very, very much for all his effort.

I was 7 years old when this came out, I'm 43 years old now. I have never seen or hears of this. I love both Carol and Whoopi, and I never could have imagined that they worked together. This is so good and beautiful. I'm oh so happy that RUclips placed this in my view and thank you for sharing this so long ago!

I have been looking for this since i was five years old! It made me cry back then. not even sure how I was able to appreciate it at such a young age. Cried watching it again. How talented they both are!

my mom used to sing this to me when i was a baby.... i had no idea it was ever from anything..... i'd still hum the song in my head when i was feeling sad.... seeing this for the first time has brought huge crocodile tears to my eyes.... wonderful skit!!! love ya mom!!!!!

This is pure gold. Carol and Whoopi are both comedic (and dramatic) actress ICONS!! This made me giggle and choke up. The ending reminds me of a beautiful children's book by Robert Munsch...."Love You Forever." 💕💕

I remember this when it first aired on network tv. This heart-warming skit still brings a tear to my eye. Great writing and acting by both Carol and Whoopi.

I recorded this on a vcr when it aired...it made me cry then and still does. When I moved home to care for my mother, before she died, I told her about this skit and that it was like us. She said that she would have liked to have seen it. Over the years I have told many people about this skit and am glad that it can now be seen on RUclips.

When I was a kid, and this aired, we recorded it on vhs. I watched it a billion times.
It just now crossed my mind, and I had to look for it... I could still quote it word for word. And now I can't stop crying! Thank you so much for sharing this so I could relive it! :')

All accurate. Carol and Whoopi together are fantastic. Whoopi used to do a stand up routine that was all characters, and she was fantastic at it.
