Curious question, but is the boss defeat sound in smash bros original or based off some other installment in the series? Smash Bros’ versions seems to be original.
Kh2’s is deemed “satisfying” due to the mechanic of only finishers/reaction commands being able to kill, so the last hit always has a satisfying impact to it.
@@lowhp_comic you might not have mp bc you've been using Cure all the time, or some bosses like larxene are immune to thunder (which is the most guaranteed spell to actually hit)
This is one of my favorite things about Kingdom Hearts and i’m really happy it’s stayed consistent throughout. It feels so badass in Kingdom Hearts 2 especially
Kh 1 has always been my favorite since I really like the visual effects like the blurring and how the screen moves along with the sound, I dunno I just always preferred it
Almost. I wanted to find some footage of the original Kingdom Hearts Coded which is also an old mobile game but its impossible to find and very hard to get. There is also no Smash but thats fair cuz video was made before his reveal
Much appreciated for this video :). I think the mobile version of coded is just a quick white light and back to the corresponding screen with no special sound given (based on the Roxas battle that's on youtube).
I know this is a video about the final hit evolution but man, do I miss the level up effects in the series. KH1 and 2 were brilliant with the swirling red light. After that, you just get a notification of your stat boost with no cool visual effects...
Well it has that cool dreamy effect so why not? Although i like the KH2 version where it forces to use a finisher, magic limit summon etc to beat the boss and freezes a little bit to show that we defeat it.
This now happens in Super Smash Bros. if Sora wins a stamina battle. I'm not having a fever dream, right?
im not also having a dream right? right???

Correct

Or magic limit summon reaction command but yeah
that and the speed up into slowdown effect that happens too
@@gumdropkimi ye they zoom in on the boss at different angles really fast, that was so cool
I never really understood why people had an issue with it, especially since a single quick magic spell counts as a finisher too
@@lowhp_comic you might not have mp bc you've been using Cure all the time, or some bosses like larxene are immune to thunder (which is the most guaranteed spell to actually hit)
0:21 The Kingdom Hearts 2 boss kill sound coupled with the freeze frame camera angles will forever be part of my childhood. So badass.
Makes beating a hard boss even more satisfying.
its fucking loud thou
@@thewizardbrandwho cares it sounds and looks cool af
I love how the whole screen basically turns into an acid trip when you defeat the boss in KH3
i have never done acid before, but I can confidentally say that that is not an acid trip
KH3 is most satisfying because it has a massive boom to it making it like you did the final blow to the enemy, especially against remind data bosses
I guess
KH2's finisher based cam is peak, but KH1's is pretty slept on
I like how even though they all have that familiar sound, every entry in the series has had its own variation, including Smash Bros.
This is one of my favorite things about Kingdom Hearts and i’m really happy it’s stayed consistent throughout. It feels so badass in Kingdom Hearts 2 especially
Smash Bros. too
Kh 1 has always been my favorite since I really like the visual effects like the blurring and how the screen moves along with the sound, I dunno I just always preferred it
Kh2 will always have the best finishers
I still prefer 3d or recom for their dreamy feeling :(
Adding this to my list of things I didnt know I needed until I saw it
Glad someone made this
Defeating bosses in these games just feels so damn good.
Thank you for including KHUx. It’s nowhere near as satisfying but I’m glad it’s here
Didn't expect to see UX! You really covered all bases!

@@ReloGP14th Good point. Idk how bosses even would’ve worked on that version lol, I know like NOTHING about it

Always liked that from DDD.
Indeed. It is the same as ReCOM. :D
@@ReloGP14th For the record: I'm referring to sound effect.
Oh my! My bad man :)
@@ReloGP14th It's all right. Really all the defeat sounds are good. I just found DDD's to have more of a "flourish" to it, sound wise.
Much appreciated for this video :). I think the mobile version of coded is just a quick white light and back to the corresponding screen with no special sound given (based on the Roxas battle that's on youtube).
Thanks for the info. Never saw the mobile :)
Coming back to this vid, I'd say DDD is the most satisfying
Yup same

When you solve your physics problem at your first trial
Kh2 takes the cake imo
YOOOOOOO YOU INCLUDED KHUX
Yup I play all KH my friend :D (beside mobile)
If you weren’t trying to swing your keyblade to get that swinging effect after beating a boss in kh1, were you even alive?

0:25 This defeat sound reminds me of Magical Girl anime, like Precure. :)
Holy sht ma childhood :(((((())))))
BBS one feels very powerful
Not the Julius flex though 😂😅
These are so satisfying, including this scream at 0:25
ngl the sound design in the KH series are stupidly high quality from FX to Music
Satisfaction: The Video
The 1 effect is the best
sora also has this sound when you beat him in super smash bros
kh1’s kill boss sound made my ears bleed everytime bc my tv would make it so pitched
Osaka Team really stuck with their version from BBS, huh? Only change by KH3 is the speed.
Well it has that cool dreamy effect so why not? Although i like the KH2 version where it forces to use a finisher, magic limit summon etc to beat the boss and freezes a little bit to show that we defeat it.
Smash only adds slow motion but not the sound
Bbs has the best ones (fact)
Video title seems awfully faniliar
Do dive bosses not count?
There are more like "Gummi" type bosses. But thanks i didnt think about the Dive/Gummi space bosses
@@ReloGP14th they have the same kind of slowmo finish
he forgot kingdom hearts 3 and smash ultimate smh
Kh3 is here and this video was made before sora was added in smash tho
@@ReloGP14th you put 2021. That was the year sora got put in smash.
@@thewizardbrandit was released in febuary, that was before sora got in smash
Maybe read the description instead of just glancing at things
