Are you planning a series of this subject for all Pentax SLR'S?
Just the SLRs that I am providing a full overview on (soon to come!). Those overviews are accompanied by a WiFi video and a Manual Lenses video. However, the process is pretty much the same across bodies.
I use another camera system, so I am asking if Pentax modern lens mount is called Pentax K for modern and old lenses ? disregarding about af comptability etc. just in order to mount the lens and recognize the correct adapter for mount modern pentax lens on mirrorless, thanks
Pentax started off with the M42 screw mount. Then in the 70s switched to the K-Mount and have used that mount ever since. However, there have been many iterations of the K-Mount with different functions (auto aperture/ auto focus/types of auto).
What adapter should I get to use my m42 lenses on my pentax k3? Thanks
M42 to K-Mount adapter. By the authentic official thing, the cheap knock offs are not worth it
Do you know what's the shutter life of the KF ?
It’s not officially posted, but it’s generally agreed to be around 50,000 actuations

PENTAX K-70 , still works fine!
