"Once a librarian in the Iacon Hall of Records, Orion Pax became curious and concerned of the questionable state of equality within the Cybertronians. It was here he met Megatronus and became inspired by his words. Megatronus soon became a mentor to the librarian. Later, stood in front of the Council with a new named Megatron, Orion explained how he believed violence was not the answer to true equality. The sparks of the Council were moved by Orion's words and believe that he was worthy of being a Prime. An upset, hurtful, and angered Megatron then joined with his followers and so began the war. As the battle took place Orion journeyed to the core of Cybertron hoping to reverse the ill effects, but instead was granted with the Matrix of Leadership. And thus, the last Prime was born.
This is the story of Optimus Prime."
ohgosh, im actually terribly nervous to upload this video mainly because the last time i did a voice over i failed miserably and told myself never again would i do this but i decided to do this one and i just pray that the story line isnt horrible Dx
so an anon on tumblr suggested this song and the idea to edit to it using either Optimus or OptimusxMegatron. I screamed and decided to edit with Optimus as ideas were flowing through my mind! but of course i had to throw in a hint bit of OptimusxMegatron ;DD
I spent about 2 days working on the audio alone as i had many ideas and had to play around with all the audio to find the most fitting. after that the clips took me about another 2 days and then it was just a matter of figuring out for the life of me how to do the beginning like i did (i know it looks bad, but i tried and i got so frustrated so im happy with it just being like that xD) & DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HOW MANY RENDERS I HAD TO DO IN AFTER EFFECTS TO GET THE FONT TO WORK LIKE THAT JUSTKAJSHLKDJHGKDSJHGDSGSDGJLKHSDG FRUSTRATION AT ITS FULLEST!!
Storyline: I pretty much poured my heart and soul into this storyline. I wanted to reflect the way I see Optimus and the reason why he means so much to me and i think i did that, im honestly not so sure anymore I havent stopped working on this video since i got the idea & my eyes and brain are pretty much fried. For the theme i pretty much wanted it to be like an archive. I wanted it to be like future Cybertronians, or us humans, got to see the past of Optimus Prime just as Orion got to see the past of Cybertron. Which explains the beginning. I hope i did that okay.. maybe.. possibly?? I only work with Sony Vegas here, im not a genius (p.s. yes i realize the the text isnt that readable at the beginning that was what i was going for)

TFP Optimus is the best version of his character ever. Every time I see him walk or speak I can see the goodness just radiating from within him. It's like he's an angel, an archangel even.
In a sense he is. As a Prime, he’s Cybertron’s equivalent of an angel

It is so odd that Optimis is a fictional charecter brings much more stronger emotions then a real being.
Who ever came up with the orginal idea back in the 1980's I greatly respect bringing hope to so many people across world even giving the fact it was a toyline. It have become much greater just the idea of the perfect hero...screw Superman....Optimus Prime is the real hero.

I'm trying to think of a TV show that has emotionally destroyed me as much as Transformers Prime... I honestly can't think of anything. I wish shows like this got the respect they deserved. I'm sure it gets swept under the rug for being a kid's cartoon, but its characters are better than almost any others out there... and Optimus Prime, well, he's the best of them all. And your videos do him greater justice than any others. well done.

Hey. The show ended on a fucking note. Optimus always came back. It also shows that Optimus chooses his race over his own life. Also not to be mean about the Transformers Rid. But it was just a crappier version of Prime. It kept repeating itself again and again. But Prime? It didn't repeat things over and over. I can tell you the main points of the show that got me hard.
1st was Optimus losing his memories. To him he was still in the past. And we don't know what will happen. We know Optimus will return. But how they did it was awesome.
2nd was Optimus destroying the ground bridge. He was willing to stay to make sure the decepticons never found the others. The moment when he said until meet again old friend I actually thought he was gonna die. But at that time season 3 didn't come out yet.
3rd Bumblebee getting his voice back. When Optus continued to punch Megatron because he killed Bumblebee it showed that if Bumblebee did actually died and didn't get revived he still cared about Bumblebee. Ok ignore that.
4th. This may not be from the show but it is fucking true. Optimus sacrificing his life for his race. It was a perfect ending for Optimus.

Optimus has always been my hero ever since I was 6 years old. Yeah Optimus is a noble goody two shoes, but he's a champion, a leader that would sacrifice himself before anyone else. I always wanted to be like him.
Its been 14 years and he still has a place in my heart. Optimus Prime is one of the best characters that has ever existed.

@@stralx8850 heck yeah man, I often watch Transformers (Michael Bay's). Your comment made me want to completely watch the entire TFP series because I only watched a few episodes of it back in 2014 with Predaking in it and I only watched Season 1 only in Netflix because it was the only season they have.
I liked Optimus' personality in War for Cybertron, he has the serious personality that he had in Bay's and TFP. I still love Optimus and I don't think I will ever dislike him. Optimus is my no. 1 favorite Transformer!
When I re-watched the show after growing up a little...
I realised that Ratchet had the most character depth that no one understood
But this video!! I watch this time to time.... Optimus Prime has to be the best fictional character I've ever seen!
The thing about the Transformers Fandom is that... at the beginning everything is simple. Decepticons are bad, Autobots are good. But as time goes on and you see more and learn more. You start to understand that things are not black and white with it. Optimus is not except from this. He's the 'Perfect Autobot Leader' and he can 'have no faults'...but its not true... He's not perfect, he's not without darkness. Like war, the story starts out black and white but as time goes by... it fades more grey with each episode. Its hard to see Optimus as anything other than perfect and good, and it hurts really bad when that thought is shattered. He's no Decepticon, but he's not perfect...

he is a biological descendant of one of the 13
where as Zeta and Sentinal and the other primes where just primes by title not by blood

Words cannot describe how beautiful and amazing this is. The video and the audio take from Transformers Prime is perfect. The music and text that is on screen makes it even more amazing. The audio and music are both at the perfect volume so that you can both equally. They all fit together and all have perfect timing with each other.
This is the best Optimus Prime tribute ever. Optimus is a role model and Father figure, and even if you don't like him you have to admit he's incredible. This tribute made me love him even more. This is even the best RUclips video I have ever seen. I have watched this video so many times, and I have shared the link to a few other Transformers Fans I know, I hope you don't mind.
The feels hit hard and I was struggling not to cry as I watched this as I didn't want to miss a second. I couldn't help but cry after I finished watching this. Ever since I was a kid. Optimus Prime was my Favorite. I am serious. Grimlock and Megatron have come close to 2nd place. But they can't ever take 1st place that Optimus has taken. This Video has proven even more that Optimus deserves to be the top. It's the way he is shown. Being Old. The Wisdom he has. The story telling. It's what made Optimus so great in the first place.
And it's why Optimus can ALWAYS top every other character. No matter how bad he is in one thing. He will be my top Character because of who he is. Which is why I hope one day. Before Peter Cullan does pass away. I want to just be there in front of him and hug him. I grew up with Peter Cullan and Optimus. And nothing can change that

ahh, the beginning is basically just a written form of what Ratchet states about Orion and Megatronus xD I had intentions of it being readable but as i actually tried to put the beginning together that was not the case and no matter how many times i tried (believe me i spent all day on it) i couldnt get it to be visible so i went with a different route xD But as I stated its merely just a written version of Ratchet's words.

I had a feeling that's what it was with what I could make out. You could have made it move maybe. Like have the text large enough to read and you contain it in one section where it would slowly scroll up. Like credits after a movie. Where it would appear at the bottom and disappear at the top. It can be done trust me as the into for the Alive MEP that I hosted I've made it doing that in a specific section. If needed I can send you the intro so you can see what I mean if you want.

Every time I see this video, it always make me cry. This is such a beautiful video, that I can't even describe it. This whole video shows who Optimus Prime is, and how much burden is on his shoulders for being a Prime. Especially the last Prime in the entire universe. I love this video so much.

*THIS.* This is what the movies should have been like. They literally can't compare to this wonderful series. Actually, they don't even come close. Transformers Prime is an absolute gem, and its portrayal of Optimus is... hard to describe in few words. Honorable. Magnificent. Brave. Humble. Compassionate. Heartfelt. It is hands down and by far, for me, the best adaptation of this character that has ever been made.
This will always be my favorite video because it shows the beauty that Optimus shows in his pain. He was the one who believed in us.... in all of us. If you cannot see the pain and torture he went through with even his own family, he did everything in his power to make sure Earth survived. He may die, but not in my heart and not in my mind.
