I'm pretty sure that this is the second time that there were 2 different crossovers in a season. The first was wild force and time force and forever red.
Forever Red was the 10th anniversary celebration of Power Rangers. Not a typical crossover episode . However, for some weird reason, the 15th anniversary 2-part episode "Once a Ranger" during Op Overdrive was considered the official crossover ep for the season. IDK why
"No one gets inside!" And then they break their circle almost immediately to fight the enemies. I still don't see why everyone thinks it's such an epic Power Rangers moment, I really just thought it came off as unnecessarily silly. There were other ways to get that "united front" feeling across that weren't ridiculous.
Yep, SPD teamed up with Dinothunder but they didn't team up with Mystic force, Mystic Force didn't team up with operation overdrive (i'm not counting Xander on the "once a ranger" crossover) Operation overdrive didn't team up with jungle fury and jungle fury didn't team up with RPM Now, entering the Neo Saban era, Samurai did team up with RPM Red (Scott Truman) but not with the rest of the RPM Rangers (in the sentai version they actually do!) As for Super Samurai.. It is completely understandable, it would be like asking Mighty morphin season 3 to crossover with Mighty morphin season 2 ... They're literally the same team just with new powers (and so i'm obviously not gonna talk about any of the "super" seasons doing a crossover with the previous one) Now, Megaforce didn't team up with Samurai as you would expect them to do, they didn't team up in megaforce (That's a shame knowing about the evil Red Samurai Ranger on the sentai version) but in super Megaforce, Jayden and Mentor ji did appear in some random episodes, and Mike and Emily came back for the legendary battle (Technically the rest of the samurai rangers did too) Now, dino charge didn't team up or even mention the Megaforce Rangers and Ninja steel just had Koda apearing for one episode.. I never Questioned JDF not being in the actual episode tbh. Before i knew what you said in the video, id always assumed Wormhole took place during that period of Dino thunder when Tommy was stuck in his ranger suit after being incased in amber.
To think, it was these team ups that got Brandon (Jack) and Emma (Kira) to start dating for a bit over a year before breaking up. The break up ended up making a big change with Once a Ranger with having Bridge going from Blue to Red (Chris was unavailable to reprise Sky).

"NO ONE GETS INSIDE!!!" Will forever be one of the best moments when Power Rangers stand on business especially when it comes to crossovers like this and Forever Red!😎
We were blessed with these crossovers. I always watched/considered them as a two-parter. It is more fun that way. Wormhole was obviously superior, but they both had their moments
History is an amazing crossover and one of my personal favorites in the entire series and showcases why technology vs natural powers is such a fun team up Wormhole is OK
They could of at least have JDF do some voice-over instead of Trent's actor doing it. Hell, JDF already did some voice-over during Dino Thunder when Tommy was stuck in his ranger suit for a few episodes.
Wait why do the dino thunder rangers believe theyre the only ones when there was literally an episode where tommy detailed the history of the power rangers
Uploading the video I also realized they seemingly “forgot” they’re run-in with Ninja Storm could’ve just been quick writing that didn’t account for things like that..that’s the ‘History’ episode for ya lolllll
- No one gets inside our circle. - No one gets inside x11 *5 seconds later there's no circle anymore* By the way, these crossovers are really good to me, I enjoyed them. They felt more rushed than the one between DT and NS, but still ok. I always had the confusion about the placement and continuity of "Wormhole", because Mora was a kid, and the episode where she's back to being Mora, she ends up controlled by Omni, but in "Wormhole" she looks like how she was before, and it was no Morgana. It's impossible to put "Wormhole" in the continuity of the rest of regular episodes because of that, but I remember it was aired almost before the final episodes.
Not to mention adding to what you said about the Dino Gems from the season finale of Dino Thunder, I believe there are references in every other season of Power Rangers that like in real life, energy isn’t destroyed. It always is there, and it still applies to the Morphin Grid too that it never is gone at all hence why you have the Morphin Masters brought up in a few seasons now and then. So like that would make sense for a plot to have the Dino Thunder Rangers come back into SPD, but like why would you say their energy from the gems (which is still connected to the grid) is destroyed if energy doesn’t just become destroyed? Other than for plot ofc but like if you’re talking canon that deserves an explanation in my opinion.
It's a nitpick, but it felt kind of wrong when everyone was in the circle repeating "no one gets inside", and when it was Trent's turn to say it he just gets cutoff by Z (yellow SPD).
It's funny how it's implied that Tommy (and maybe Sam?) Never got their memories erased cause Kruger erased his own before we see Tommy's get erased. Guess he knew Tommy Oliver was the one guy they could trust to keep his memories of time travel
"how did the dino gems get into space" eh, space paleontologists probably stole them i joke but those guys get really competitive, and i could totally see some of them pulling a british empire over some colourfull rocks
Dino thunder was my favorite season and I remember that I was not a big fan of spd but these episodes were incredible. Im from latam chile and both episodes were shown on tv
@@HedgeOnStage Broodwing was from future and had advance technologies So he must have like recharged the gems And the power less gems would have been exported to some other planet and used some sort of dino dna to recharge the gems coz they looked freshly charged
This could’ve been a two parter, like one was Dino Thunder going to the future and SPD going to the past in part two cause WHOOPS time travel shenanigans. Hell you could even burn the dekaranger vs abaranger movie footage and have the ninja storm rangers cameo for like two seconds. I mean these episodes are good, but back to back it’s odd if you think about it.
I wouldn't put Broodwing above robbing a museum for power. Also they say it took all the gems had so could be they partially recharged over the years but not much since spd isnt even 30 years later.
The comedy in this review is absolute genius! The Conner McDonald's joke is absolutely hilarious and had me laughing my ass off! Great Review too by the way. As a huge fan of Dino Thunder, I personally found History to be a massive disappointment and even found it hollow without Trent and Dr O. Wormhole is definitely an improvement and it was great to have Trent and Dr O's suit ;) Great video man! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
When you pay attention to some of the plot in these two episodes, it really doesn’t make sense. Apparently, the original plot was that the Dino thunder team were actually clones of the originals. They decided to change it because they thought kids would get confused on cannon. Now that we’re just one year away from entering the SPD timeline it makes you realize that 20 years isn’t that big of a gap. Should have been set in the year 2045, 55, or 65, and have that little reunion scene set in 2015. Fun fact, the actors for Jack and Kira actually dated. In Operation Overdrive, they originally asked him to return as SPD red, but declined when he found out his ex would also be there.
One of the reasons I hated "Wormhole" was I found the whole "No one gets inside" thing so pointless and dumb. They had everyone say it one by one only for the circle to be broken up in not even ten seconds and it wasn't like the circle was actually protecting anyone or anything. Also, the whole DT team being in "Wormhole" doesn't really mean anything since JDF wasn't actually in the episode.
So they planned on having two episodes for crossover purposes... I mean, sure, that's pretty standard, that's what we got in Lightspeed Rescue, Wild Force, and Dino Thunder. But doing it as two stories was such an odd choice. I guess they got to feature the different times... though Wormhole still only used Zeltrax from Dino Thunder's villains... And it means more time is spent on set up and such as a result. I feel like it'd be more interesting if they'd made it a two-parter, where at the end of the first part set mostly in 2025 they realise Grumm has gone back in time and they need to follow him, giving a fun cliffhanger. It just means they'd have a little more time for the characters to interact, and the Dino Thunder Rangers not being as active in part 1 wouldn't be as much of an issue, because they'd be more involved in the story overall. JDF's absence from the episode is funny, though, because it means they didn't include Tommy in the memory wipe scene, so he got to remember everything, apparently! As for the "no one gets inside our circle" scene... I always found it cringey, to be honest. Never really understood what they were supposed to be defending. 😅
The Dino gems used in the first crossovers are different gems front the same planet as the original set. I’m pretty sure It’s mentioned after the rangers are teleported to the future.
The first one felt more grounded even if some things do raise an eyebrow. The second one seems off even more with it be one year before the first and now Morgana is back to being Mora with no reason as to why, and then being Morgana right after again (The first also ended with a monster that we wont see till after the second crossover). I'd like to think that the second crossover was supposed to be first and further ahead of the first one, but the American footage made that difficult, but without seeing the original Japanese version I would have no way of say if that was the case or not
Both of these crossovers (in terms of the actual footage of Dino Thunder and SPD fighting on screen together) were entirely original and filmed for Power Rangers with no involvement of Japanese footage The decision to hold these events were from the SPD production
Right here is how to explain it In the dino thunder finale the gems are fried In spd it’s stated they’re reenergised on onyx but never stated they’ve lost there powers when they get sent back so any future appearance can be put down to them having there powers again hence why only the three rangers show up in grid connection they’re confused about there being no rangers as at that point they know of every ranger team out there and there’s no new ranger teams in 2005 but they already knew about spd due to Kira and Ethan doing morphing grid research in the epilogue of dino thunder
supposedly disney didn’t want to fly JDF out to NZ.... also if both endings were switched Id be more happier (meaning Dino Thunder see their future for a quick second, then get their minds erased and them ONLY bc erasing SPD really ticked me off like their true intracrion with those ppl would be Legendary Battle
5:28 I don't know, there could be a few years (after 1993) that MIGHT not have a power ranger team on earth: 1997 (since the galaxy rangers were in outer space the entire time), 2005 (of course excluding history), 2009 (since RPM took place in another dimension), 2010 (that's when the mmpr revision aired), 2011/2012 (those are the two years that the samurai seasons aired and it's not stated that the samurai have been active within both those years like with Megaforce), or 2015/2016 (those are the years that the dino charge seasons aired and that also takes place in another dimension), again, MIGHT not, I like to headcannon that at least one of those sentai only teams we saw in super megaforce were actually a team in one of these unusual years.
My best ever description of the 1st team up of the season: cathartic. Why? Because the Dino Thunder power rangers treated Trent so poorly, Trent, a fellow orphan to two of the SPD rangers of which one leads the latter team.
This is true but irrelevant to the teamup fights here. Neither of the fights used Sentai footage at all. They could’ve gotten back whoever they wanted provided the actor agreed and were able to come out. Now budgets, yes that is a factor
@@HedgeOnStage In the case with JDF, prior to his passing, he was asked about the SPD team ups at a convention and he stated that he was not involved in either not because he wasn't willing to do them, but because he wasn't even approached or asked to by Disney. I still remeber them saying no one gets inside that scene was epic
Don't worry, they made up for it by not even bothering to crossover SPD and Mystic Force next season.
i remember seeing these as a kid and having my mind BLOWN cuz crossovers weren't as generous as they are today, felt surreal
I think both are at their best when viewing them back to back. First history, then wormhole.
Bridge being 4 years younger than me still haunts me
We were blessed with these crossovers. I always watched/considered them as a two-parter. It is more fun that way. Wormhole was obviously superior, but they both had their moments
History is an amazing crossover and one of my personal favorites in the entire series and showcases why technology vs natural powers is such a fun team up
Wormhole is OK
interesting!
The no one gets inside our circle is peak meme material ngl
My God, lol. Brandon McLaren's acting during that "WE WON!" segment is always amazing. I still laugh every time I watch it, lol.
WE WONNNNNNN
They could of gotten JDF but didn't want to spend money to fly him
They could of at least have JDF do some voice-over instead of Trent's actor doing it.
Hell, JDF already did some voice-over during Dino Thunder when Tommy was stuck in his ranger suit for a few episodes.
@@luishernandezsoto true.
That snoop edit on Trent took me out 🤣great vid as usual.
LMAOOO PPRECIATE YOU
As a kid i prefered History because i owned the Mystic Force dvd that had it as a special feature. I think it was Dark Wish but i may be mistaken
Wait why do the dino thunder rangers believe theyre the only ones when there was literally an episode where tommy detailed the history of the power rangers
Uploading the video I also realized they seemingly “forgot” they’re run-in with Ninja Storm
could’ve just been quick writing that didn’t account for things like that..that’s the ‘History’ episode for ya lolllll
Peak crossover. SPD and Dino Thunder best disney era Power Rangers.
Love the power rangers video analysis content it’s so great and funny. Keep it up!
- No one gets inside our circle.
- No one gets inside x11
*5 seconds later there's no circle anymore*
By the way, these crossovers are really good to me, I enjoyed them.
I'm pretty sure the Kid Mora thing is meant to be a consequence of the Time Travel.
Yes, High Schools do have 1 year reunions. They also have 7 month reunions.
Huh!
mine didn’t so it very much surprises me LOL
The ptsd I get every time I hear that alarm in the spd clips is crazy
Wormhole is slightly better I admit.
THERE WAS A DVD EXCLUSIVE? I need to watch asap
over the years my interest had shifted more towards kamen rider but i like this video style and the funy editing lolol
"how did the dino gems get into space" eh, space paleontologists probably stole them
i joke but those guys get really competitive, and i could totally see some of them pulling a british empire over some colourfull rocks
Disney did really a good Job with the Crossovers!
Ninja Storm/ Dino Thunder &
Dino Thunder was awesome Specail with a great Story!
Dino thunder was my favorite season and I remember that I was not a big fan of spd but these episodes were incredible. Im from latam chile and both episodes were shown on tv
They never actually say they’ve gone in a museum they said they would look great in a museum
doesn’t explain how they ended up not with the Rangers
point is so much is unexplained, meaning a lot of clean up is needed after the fact loll
@@HedgeOnStage
Broodwing was from future and had advance technologies
So he must have like recharged the gems
And the power less gems would have been exported to some other planet and used some sort of dino dna to recharge the gems coz they looked freshly charged
Grum is a underrated villain
It upsets me that the Dino Rangers didn't get to remember either of these 2 awesome encounters.
History and Wormhole were both awesome
"No one gets inside!" It's certainly iconic, but why did absolutely everyone have to say it? Makes me laugh every time.
Red dino ranger looked like he aged 10 years
I wouldn't put Broodwing above robbing a museum for power.
Wormhole is definitely an improvement and it was great to have Trent and Dr O's suit ;)
Great video man! I thoroughly enjoyed it!
bless ya!!! Tysm! 🌈🌈🌈
@@HedgeOnStage Your very welcome. Well done!
You guys noticed that Tommy's memories weren't erased?
Dino Thunder, Ninja Storm & SPD were special!
I prefer Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm crossover, at least it had a two part episode.
The First Crossover got 1 right
*Super Dino Mode x Swat Mode!*
1:03 2025 is next year😭 i feel old
You should do a video of when ninja storm and dino thunder team up
The first one felt more grounded even if some things do raise an eyebrow. The second one seems off even more with it be one year before the first and now Morgana is back to being Mora with no reason as to why, and then being Morgana right after again (The first also ended with a monster that we wont see till after the second crossover). I'd like to think that the second crossover was supposed to be first and further ahead of the first one, but the American footage made that difficult, but without seeing the original Japanese version I would have no way of say if that was the case or not
Both of these crossovers (in terms of the actual footage of Dino Thunder and SPD fighting on screen together) were entirely original and filmed for Power Rangers with no involvement of Japanese footage
The decision to hold these events were from the SPD production
Awesomeness and they're my favorite episodes of Power Rangers History!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Right here is how to explain it
In the dino thunder finale the gems are fried
In spd it’s stated they’re reenergised on onyx but never stated they’ve lost there powers when they get sent back so any future appearance can be put down to them having there powers again hence why only the three rangers show up in grid connection they’re confused about there being no rangers as at that point they know of every ranger team out there and there’s no new ranger teams in 2005 but they already knew about spd due to Kira and Ethan doing morphing grid research in the epilogue of dino thunder
the lack of punctuation is making this very hard to comprehend
All these teamups,
AND WE NEVER GOT SCIENCE VS MAGIC WITH SPD/MYSTIC FORCE!!!!
IMAGINE KORAGG VS KRUGER!!!!!
Both SPD Dino Thunder crossover’s would’ve been better if Jason David Frank was there
Disney really spoiled us. We didn't know what we had.😢
supposedly disney didn’t want to fly JDF out to NZ.... also if both endings were switched Id be more happier (meaning Dino Thunder see their future for a quick second, then get their minds erased and them ONLY bc erasing SPD really ticked me off like their true intracrion with those ppl would be Legendary Battle
n o o n e g e t s i n s i d e
5:31 Imagine if we see a Grumm VS .Migty Morphin or Wildforce Rangers
"No one gets inside!"
Wait…there were too? I only remember Wormhole.
My best ever description of the 1st team up of the season: cathartic.
Why? Because the Dino Thunder power rangers treated Trent so poorly, Trent, a fellow orphan to two of the SPD rangers of which one leads the latter team.
Just remember Sentai footage dictates what rangers show up in a lot of ways budgeting ping multiple actors is a lot of money 🤑💰
He was oblivious to the fact they were even doing the crossovers until after the fact when they were already filmed and aired.
