yall hv to stop talking about him himself, it's what he's talking about that matters. personally I think he has a point; we live in a society that is advancing way too quickly, and this is causing many problems for us civilians, like to catch up with society for example. Aren't objects merely temporary arrangements of energy and matter in constant fluctuation? Strange. Yet time also appears to be an illusion, as the past and future are never experienced now. The betterment of corporations can also lead to the betterment of society. One does not exclude the other. The utter unbalanced betterment of corporations only is what's bad.
@@soygolpista Capitalism is constantly evolving. In it's current form, it is is no secret that corporations pay politicians to pass new law in order to facilitate higher levels of profit. This is exactly what buddhism talks about. Human Desire. All of these technologies and products that's made starting the industrial revolution and bit before that has influenced a lot on human cognitive side and it's actually harming us. From that resulted many greedy and selfish human beings. It's just going to be really hard to explain this because some would get it but majority would not and now that money and technology has taken such portion of importance in our lives.. unfortunately, this can't be helped. The difference between consumerism and someone who produces: If you made an item, or fixed something that is broken, you have the satisfaction of CREATING, where if you are a consumer, you are only satisfied for a short time because of the novelty of having something new that someone else created. The human condition for wanting the best of everything is infinite. There is no limit to the wants and needs of an individual consumer. The buddists have a name for it and call it the "Hungry ghost" It cannot be satiated on it's own terms. I agree with the principle of Zen buddism and Christianity that by managing our wants/needs that we can conquer these irrational addictions. Detachment from the world is a bit extreme, but a good way to counter what is built into us. But I think that through creating we can also stop this desire. Managing our expectations and needs through detachment is only a way of placating ourselves. Since we are created in the image of God, we have some of His attributes. God created everything. How much more natural is it for us to be like our maker and create? FYI music, writing, carpentry, repairing something that is broken are all different versions of creating. You don't need to make a new Iphone in a factory to create.
I have almost nothing to say. I think the speaker hit the nail on the head, and I agree almost completely with everything he said. Also, I think the editing in this video was a vast improvement over the editing in the previous video, and I am pleased at this improvement.
@@tj7681 the like-dislike ratio is astounding tho?? There’s always going to be dislikes on a video that’s this popular. But the fact that he’s talking about these somewhat controversial views and isn’t having more dislikes is really good
It’s all about validation. People crave it. They NEED it. It’s a toxic chase to get the newest things to impress their peers, and just a tiny bit of happiness/ validation they crave, but then what? It will all change next year, a new iPhone, new clothes, new car etc. You nailed it man. We also see this in things like social media, where people post them wearing “nice clothes” or having an “attractive body” but in reality this is not necessary what makes them truly happy. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” I guess. It’s a toxic society we live in today because happiness is based on what other people think, rather than true happiness.
I agree with you except the attractive body part. I lift for aesthetics because it makes me happy and I feel great going to the gym and building meaningful relationships with others around me.
I halfway agree. The endless consumption has actually stunted our innovation. Instead of solving more difficult problems, we simply incrementally improve pointless stuff. But its the production of this that distracts from solving other problems with innovation.
Kids like this give me faith in the future switched on articulate envisioning better ways. The more people do this the more things go in the right direction!
+Letonqua Jackson Your comment just shows you're trying to take out your own problems on other people. You're the loser and to feel good you have to take it out on others. How sad.
Thus dude could become a cult leader. He entrances you with his ideas and intellect. You can tell he is not average, there's something special about the way he thinks.
These are all socialist ideas, a lot of people have actually thought this. I’ve thought about the same things he’s said for a long time. Granted he was probably a lot younger than me when he realized all this. But yeah I think a lot of ppl are coming to this realization that eventually there will come a point where we don’t need competition anymore and we will have to transition to an economy for all. Marx, Engels and all these socialist thinkers were a little too early to the party and too ahead of their time. They predicted what would happen eventually but they didn’t take into account that it would take another 100 years for technology to catch up to those predictions.
This dude is on a different level, you can hear it quite clearly 5 minutes in. Problem is, our little brain is not always able to capture and identify the information that is provided to us. Some of us are just too busy and too deep into the hamster hole to even be able to look back. I had a friend that I got to know when I was about 18, he was around 15 at that time. For around 5 years we hang out and he got very good at sports. At the age of 20 he started hunting for money and started working nights also. 8 years later he is still hunting money and it has never been enough. He abandoned sports and what he liked and had fun with. Now he is soon 30 and will continue run after money for the upcoming 6 years at least. He simply wants more, more, more. Why though? You could say he "growed up" and he moved on. Yes sure, so did I but here I am to be 31 soon and still active in sports and more fit than most 20 year old kids, and quite successful with my career on top of that. It's quite obvious that he was running after that extra cash that he already has but is still on the hunt. It never ends. This kid in this video holds the answer. My friend wants that money to set him free and never work again. But what is the cost? 20 years of his life at least, and his best years. Once he got that money he will be too old to do sports for example. Who knows, maybe we get a desease or something else under this period which makes our ultimate goal totally worthless. What is freedom without health? We have one life and some of us are trapped in this hamster wheel under our best years when we are young and healthy. So then the question is, as this kid in this video is bringing up. What would stop people from ending up in this hamster wheel? Well we need to make money less important. Money should not equal to freedom. Working, as a way of being able to live in this world and feed our family should be seen as freedom so that we can keep focused at all times. How can we make working seen and felt as freedom? Decreasing the requirements and needs of all the objects in the world decreases the amount of companies which decreases the requirement for living a decent life. If everything becomes cheaper, we dont need to have that much money. If we don't have to work 8 hours and instead work 6 hours we feel like we have more freedom and can accept that working to feed your family is a normal thing to do. Another thing would be to work with something that you are passionate about and like. Also a way to see work as freedom. Be a scientist, be an astronom, do things that you love. How are you going to get into that mindset? Education, developing our brain and intelligence. We see work as the worst thing in our life. We see money as freedom. Did Einstein see work as slavery and did he also think that money was the ultimate freedom so he could sit at home and watch TV all day long or travel? No, he did all of this and much more and on top of that he went to that library and opened that book with his own will, without any preassure. Thats what I call intelligence. He got everything that the people think they will have when they have unlimited money. The brain is playing tricks on these people running for money. But it is interesting to witness. I agree with this kid and that we are in an eternal hamster wheel which no one will have any interest in identifying because people are driven by feelings and what replaces the emptiness in their lifes are objects, nice cars, new electronics, constat feeding from media etc. The companies will never stop this going on. What will stop this is ourselves. How do we stop it? We can't. It's because our intelligence is still not developed enough to understand this whole situation. But It's not only a matter of intelligence because alot of the people are aware of this. One of the root causes are our feelings and personal development. We never get to become wiser. The age is truly just a number and a 30-50 year old human can actually have the intelligence of a 10-15 year old kid playing games all day long. People have created different personas through the media that needs to be met. Not being able to become these different people creates a void which needs to be filled with objects in our everyday life to make us happier and on par with the "happy" people. Getting to know ourselves and being confident as individuals we would not be as dependent of the companies. Ever asked yourself why you need that latest computer components? Well Its because you like gaming, watching movies etc. Why do you like gaming, watching movies etc? To relax. Why do you need to relax? Because of your job? Because of your wife? your kids? family issues? economical issues? Why are you working with what you do today, why did you get married to that woman? why did you decide to have kids? what is the cause of your family issues? why do you have economical issues? The answer to why is usually a mix of feelings and frustration. You want to escape, you want to flee. If you have control of your feelings and you understand yourself, you can then stop the frustration. If you can stop that frustration, you wont feel like you need to escape and if you dont feel like you need to escape then you dont want to buy that latest hardware anymore because it doesn't even make any sense when you already have a perfectly working computer already. I could go on for days. You are interested in the latest technology? What techonology and what difference does that technology make? Is your intelligence high enough to understand what 5% increased performance actually means when talking hardware and electronics? Here is the blockage, an intelligence person might upgrade his computer if the increased performance was 100-200% and even then they would identify and think ahead. Do I actually need that performance? A less intelligence human being would go crazy over the 5% increased performance like a little kid. We simply need to accept that the humans are not there yet. That's why there is a propability that if aliens do exist, then they have us as their zoo and entertainment. It's like watching TV for them. If some of us know that the majority of humans have reached a plateau in the intelligence department then It's a fact that the humans are capable of much more and that we can do much better than what we do. I just wish that I can witness that before I die. The AI's will make a difference in this world, for sure. It will contribute to this segment also but it will not be a positive thing only.
Do you have any idea how trivial, superficial and ideological yours and this kid’s reasonings sound or do you truly believe this is actually some profound revelation that, as you said, our little brain is not always able to capture and identify?
So glad to see someone as young as you has such a wonderful insight. I had similar views from my early twenties and I was labeled as “ odd” by most of my classmates/ peers. They thought something was wrong with me not becoming excited in going to a shop spree. Wish you genius long live and happiness. Keep making these awesome videos!
This perspective is very interesting to hear but we aren't going to stop reproducing any time soon and we can definitely agree on that. The want and need for reproduction is genetically built in our heads. Not exactly for the growth of human race but necessarily have to pass on your personal genes. Even from a scientific standpoint, the purpose for living of organisms is to pass on your genes. What you are stating is that we need to slow down for the want for "new" items and I can completely agree. When I comes down to it there really isn't a point or goal that can be accomplished that really matters other than happiness.
His eyes are so dark energetic and concistent. He has those kind of eyes that are so big in terms of intensity and concentrated power. Keep staring in his eyes and you may get scared.

To reach this level of awareness is more of a curse than a blessing. Humanity is on a roller coaster ride and there's no getting off. Knowing that everything is all wrong, and that there's a way to fix it, is futile. And functioning at such a high level, you also know that there's nothing you can do to change things. And leaves you with such a feeling of great hopelessness. I wonder what ever became of HatGuy? Perhaps he decided that he wasn't gonna waste his time trying to wake ppl up. With all the internet gadgets today, nobody's willing to make the necessary sacrifices that are required to help create positive change. I'm sure he's aware of that issue.

What we seem to be talking about here (in terms of what an individual can do about our current predicament) is to go local. Grow your own food or buy/barter direct from the source. Be content with your 3 year old smartphone. Make sure your wardrobe is 'timeless'. Live sustainably and in self-reliance. Buy underneath your means. Get out of all debt and stay out. Build your community up. Be content with a simpler life and enjoy nature and innocent laughter. Strive to be great not to gloat but to help others achieve greatness. Reduce dependency on the centralized parasitic systems we call institutions and clean up your own life before trying to 'save the world". Reject fleeting pleasures like meaningless sex and candy. Live with intention and gratitude for life. Slow down. Let life come to you while you prepare for it to arrive. Happens everyday at dawn.

What he’s saying is be more in tune with Creator, with nature and stop being materialistic. Once we’re in tune we’ll actually love each other enough to be self sufficient. Wisdom over intelligence
The idea of a paradigm shift from commercial and financially driven social culture to what could be called pro-social harmonious mutualism is one that is learned through a comprehensive understanding of the real human condition - that is, the shared social reality that constitutes what we interact with on the daily (our lives, together and separate). If we truly understood the breadth of human history and struggle, unethical policy and pathological leadership, subjugation and repression...then we could see the imperative for the aforementioned consciousness. That is fundamentally what is going on - neo-liberal consumer capitalism preys on a lack of critical functioning and higher-order consciousness and memory - the mere word "profit" implies that some other entity must suffer *losses* in order to constitute "profit" of any type. The progression of ethical and holistic science will eventually serve as an alternative lifestyle choice to the oligopolistic corporatocracy that has co-opted much of our global governing bodies. That is, if we don't all get sedated into perpetual financial harvesting before then.
The Lord Shiva's statute behind him itself explains his profound understanding to outworldly things yet being calm and chill.

@@dylhop9032 Time makes all objects impermanent, and thus, transitory. If they are transitory, can they really be called or thought of as objects? Aren't objects merely temporary arrangements of energy and matter in constant fluctuation? Strange. Yet time also appears to be an illusion, as the past and future are never experienced now. Pick a topic, any topic, and let's discuss it.
Is that a Buddhist statue in the background?

He really isn't saying anything common sense doesn't teach you most ppl can't use their head for more then a hat rack

I am so glad you are actually thinking about this, instead of just going with what society is doing !!!
It will contribute to this segment also but it will not be a positive thing only.
wow.
man did his hw

Conciousness can change reality ..celebrate it you are always near to zero than being near to infinity
This guy is amazing. Understanding such deep concepts and having such a high way of thinking is incredible, especially at his age. I have nothing but respect for this guy and his views.
So the key to a happy long society is to enjoy the things that last and not the things that we throw away
this man explains we live in materialistic wordl that we dont need but blinded what we truly needed

What he’s saying is be more in tune with Creator, with nature and stop being materialistic. Once we’re in tune we’ll actually love each other enough to be self sufficient. Wisdom over intelligence
@@user-lg3yj2fz2j more than that, we need to think for ourselves and test our beliefs
2:30 The apple core in the background turns into a fresh apple.

He saw lord shiva in fourth dimension where he gains ultimate knowledge and calmness my boy already succeed in life om nama shivaay ❤🔱🕉🌸
