    This is a women's sports household. It started with the 1990's US Women's National Soccer Team. My 12 year old was over the moon when we went to see the 1999 World Cup games in New York and DC. We still follow our favorite MLB team, but other than that, it's pretty much women's sports. Basketball started with Caitlin Clark, and has now expanded to some of the US players in the Euroleague. Thanks to the Annika promo round with Caitlin Clark we've just started watching LPGA days as well.

      Basketball is a team effort, Sue was in UCONN all five star team, IOWA only had Clark. Players who won championship don't sold out tickets but they want to take credit, but its ok?

  • @DuffyGabi
    @DuffyGabi 3 дня назад

    Numbers don’t lie. The WNBA is a failed business that has been financially propped up for 28 seasons by the NBA. When you look at the historic attendance in huge markets such as Chicago and New York, the number of people who want to turn out for 20 home games is really dismal. It’s just a fact. 2024 was the year that even more WNBA players were declaring that their league is the most competitive in the world and that they deserve to be paid like men. Well, there are dozens if not more boys high school basketball teams that could beat any WNBA team. You can’t shame Americans into becoming fans.
