Great information. I fixed my mover in less time then to do a drop off and pick up at the shop. Your head cam wasn't perfect but I got the message clearly. Thanks brother. You are doing a great service to the world. Keep it up!
John, your explanation was good and you obviously know what you're doing. My "constructive criticism" would be to get your wife or a friend to do the camera work. I can see another viewer already explained that half of your work wasn't viewable and the movie was in vain.
Man awesome explanation . Only thing is the camera work I couldn't see what you were pointing at try a chest mount . Seriously love the info very informative
so it was old petrol, all I do is remove the airfilter squrt in loads of wd40 put in fresh fuel get it firing squrt in more wd40 while it's starting to run , refit airfilter off we go, use fresh higher obctaine fuel like Shell Optimax it will have cleaning additives already in it .
Camera work wasn't the best but I have seen worse. Only reason I mentioned it is because that kid was a jerk. You had a lot of good info though and you definitely seem to know your stuff. My mower won't start. Sat in the rain a bit. I drained the oil and the gasoline, replaced the spark plug. I am about to remove the carb and clean it out.
Br3ad thanks, yeah I have a new camera clip mount so I can take better videos , i also need to find a decent video editor. depending on the make and model of your mower I can walk you through it
Bolens w/ B&S 500e engine. I saw someone remove a similar filter off the carb. Then your video reminded me that I have a little socket set for my drill. Your video was also much more practical for cleaning it.
shook out the carb and it had lots of water in it. sprayed it out like you did in this one since it needed some weird reverse socket to disassemble. Wouldn't start still but after a few minutes later it started.
I wish I read Albert Creosote's comment before I wasted 10 minutes watching this. John Ammann - his comment and your response are 3 months old. Why don't you remake the video or get a friend to hold your camera and take this one down?

Only if video was better, message would be more clearer ! Anyhow, thanks for video.

thanks for the suggestion I have different mounts I'm trying to find the best angle but I appreciate your suggestion, have a great weekend
Do you have more videos for the same carburetor?
This was a great video, thanks

Great information, presented in an understandable manner. If I ever meet you, I want to buy you a beer (or a coffee). Thanks, John.
Thank you for the video, I figured my carburetor was the issue but had never worked on a lawn mower before.
tsmoore88 no problem , if you need further help please let me know
Thanks to you. My mower is now running.
Did you not watch before posting? you don't see half of what you're talking about.
The solid one is the diaphram. The one with the holes is the gasket.
Good effort. Unfortunately almost non of the actual carb cleaning is visible in the video. Great audio though ...
Gotta get me one of those "eleven-thirty twos" sockets. lol

Br3ad awesome, I'd run some dry gas in it
I had some sea foam so I put a little in the gas
"This little tiny flap..." Doesn't show the flap at all.
How can i fix, plz advise...
Oil in the petrol tank & petrol in the motor engine.

Good job buddy
My lawnmower is flooding when running
The camera work was terrible couldn't see much of what you were talking about. But its not that bad.
Your camera angle is missing most of the details
Waste of time, guy wears a head cam pointing at back of truck for most part. John Ammann - must try harder
Captain planet is gonna punch you
Can’t see half of what you’re doing.
You have to wonder what this guy is drinking.
It’s a 500 series
contaminating the soils no good.

Larry Heller gave you a try but......moving on.
I can't see anything that you are talking about.
I know this is 8yrs old, but that was sh*tty camera work. I missed most of the important stuff. Thanks for not much.
