THE VHX GAUGES COME IN FOR THE FIRE BIRD AND I GO IN TO DETAIL O HOW TO WIRE THEM FOR A LS SWAP CAR. OIL ADAPTER LINK www.amazon.com... www.amazon.com...
ONCE AGAIN.... YOU KILLED THAT VIDEO. Thank you so much for this video. I have been struggling with installing mine on my 70 chevelle. You just helped me out. Much respect 🙌 coming all the way from Texas. Nothing beats GOSSE PERFORMANCE
It's interesting that much of what I search for (for a 1970 GTO), either you or Fast Monty's Garage are usually one of the top two search results. (Mostly commenting to appease the almighty algorithm.)
Thanks for the video!! I was not sure how to incorporate the temp sensor since its needed for the ecu (Sniper EFI), Bang @ 3:55 you solved my problem “use the 2nd sensor location for the Dakota”!! Great video!!!!
I a 79 Firebird that I am working on and I would LOVE it if you had all of your Firebird videos in a single play list. Btw....that interior is amazing! Just found you and looking forward to digging through your old videos on this Bird.
Hey man thanks for these great video , helping my friend installing DD VHX with ls3 swap , dont know were th get tach signal , just got BIM 01 02 , no luck call tech support said i need HP Tuners , can u tell me wish cable it is from ECU or anywere else , much appreciated it
When you connected the parking light wire to the DIM terminal, how do the parking lights come on now since you are now using that wire elsewhere? Thank you
I have a set of VHX in my 61 C10. All is good but the voltage gauge drops when I push on the brake, pulsates with the turn signal and drops to 10v when I turn on the a/c fan? I have checked voltage with a meter all is good, it's the gauge set up. I'm sure it's a ground issue but I am not sure where to start. These gauges were installed by someone else. There is a ground running from the box to the stall firewall under the dash. I'll take any ideas you may have. Thanks!
Do you know what the difference is between the vdx and the hdx,I have a 72 c10 with a 5.3 and 4l60e I am doing a new truck harness and was looking into dakota digital.
Great video. But I am still stumped. I have a 1981 TA with rally gauges. In the factory tab for the turn signals there are 2 wires for the left and 2 wires for the right going into factory tab. . Do I just pig tail a single wire then go into RTX control box. Same for the tach and fuel. The factory tach connector has 2 wires. And the fuel has 2 wires plus a ground wire. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey brother I’ve watched your videos several times and I’m trying to wire up my 76 c10. I’ve got a BP Automotive stand alone kit for my engine and transmission, paired with Dakota digital gauges and the speedway 22 circuit universal chassis and fuse box kit. I’m not going to use several wires from my new fuse box since I’ve got the stand alone but I’m leary about cutting anything off until I’m 100 Since the Dakota uses all its own senders I shouldn’t need the ones supplied with the speed way kit am I right?
It just depends on what you’re trying to read on your dashboard. You can also have redundancy, depending on the gauge set up that you are trying to run or have read for example for an ECU.
@@goosseperformance1444 I have a bp automotive harness. Has a pink wire and a white/brown wire. The white/brown goes to the Dakota digital but not sure on the pink
I thought with the ls swap when using the Dakota Digital all you really had to connect as for as sensors was the oil sensor that the Dakota Digital got its reading from the ls computer

Do you recommend American Autowire or Painless performance. I'm restoring a 65 C10 and could use an opinion on which one you prefer.
American

Should be two different wires use for those two ports
hey man, where did you get those black heater hose clamps?

Start with a new ground to the battery but DD I believe has lifetime warranty

should be one wire for tach on a ls swap , and one postive wire for t signals , other is ground
