I think this was one of the easiest sound ones, with the exception of Shimmering, I first thought it was the Lure from the Behemoth, then Rarran said it was a Paladin card, and I was thinking it was the sound when you dredge with either Seafloor Savior or Leviathan, then he said it was 3 mana, and I could only think about the Legendary wich I don't even know if it's 3 mana or 2, or it was Myrmidon, and even then I was wrong e.e
Knew it was contract conjurer right away, i play orion all the time in standard, it's hilarious seeing people misplay half the time when it comes down
Just wanted to say that I am so happy for the growth of your channel, been with you since almost the beginning when you had only 1k subs and were only doing meta related videos and coaching some of you fans. Glad you found the style of content that you enjoy making and entertain the masses!

Sorry tavern brawl was shoved to the modes tab so mercenaries of all things could be put on the main menu? Literally anything else but duels would've made more sense for that spot than mercenaries.

This was the most relatable guest so far lmao. I would probably crumble like he did but at the same time he even did better than I would have at points, despite me knowing every single card featured as a wild player.

Stuff like the modes order and the keyword one were pretty easy for me this guy just sucked at these questions, I always think people who only play one game mode are weird, no matter the video game.

Then a bit later I discovered Rarran.

They put tavern brawl back to the main menu and mercenaries where he said they belong.
I find the Flag Runner change so funny. I can see why Rarran would change the name to "Horde Runner" because the art depicts a Horde flag, but in Warcraft's battlegrounds, players try to capture the *opposing faction's* flag.
This card is so bizarre because at first glance you might think it's a typical Blood Elf Demon Hunter... But this art actually depicts a *Dwarf* Demon Hunter (a race/class combo that doesn't exist in WoW) trying to capture the Horde Flag in Alterac Valley (a battleground which doesn't have a capture the flag component).
So, technically the more "accurate" way to make this a fake card would have been to rename it to "Alliance Runner" lol.

I absolutely love to see how your guests' brains work differently, from near photographic memory to forgetting the hero powers' names. And surprisingly, they're all doing great when actually playing Hearthstone. It shows there is more than one way.

Funny thing is that Tavern Brawl moved back to the front and Mercenaries was pushed back to modes a couple of hours ago. I think Blizzard has just seen this video and agreed with Ecore regarding Mercenaries and was disappointed that he didn't remember Tavern Brawl and pushed it to the front.

Lol I remember this card well as an MTG player, most things in Hearthstone have "Shroud" (can't be targeted by spells/hero powers), while this is the first with "Hexproof" (one-sided Shroud). Hexproof is far more common and popular than Shroud in MTG, so it was notable to have the mechanic brought over to Hearthstone. However, susceptibility to minion effects and attack-targeting makes this sort of effect not nearly as good in Hearthstone (in MTG, an early Hexproof creature is almost unkillable since you can't choose to attack it).
There was an infamous strat in MTG called "Boggles" where you play cheap Hexproof creatures and load them up with buffs to kill your opponent very early with little interaction.
That's actually not the correct version, shimmering courser is a beast.

Been here since "This card broke hearthstone" when you were talking about Shudderwock, and honestly you have been one of my favorite content creators, singlehandedly getting me back into watching HS content.
I've never played Hearthstone, but that Shimmering Courser immediately made me think of Primal Huntbeast from Magic the Gathering. They are basically the same card in everything but name and rarity. Huntbeast is only a common.

That wasn't the classic emblem, it was the old legacy emblem. Ecore was correct about the card text for the legacy version of Murloc Warleader, at least.

I've played this game since it came out and that Naturalize in the minion frame completely messed with my head. Something felt so weird about it but I couldn't nail the problem down.
It's said that Arena is supposed to go back to the main menu, and Mercenaries will go to the modes tab...

There's a game called wild blitz which is hearthstone dungeon run (kinda) + inscryption (kinda), so I thought I should raise awareness of it, since the demo is available for a limited time of two weeks I think? Demo itself is really short and easy, thus I thought that it would be nice to see someone not beating it, and who is better suited for such a hard task than Rarran.

The only thing mercenaries and duels need are free card packs and/or gold or maybe even dust for participating, that's literally all. People would care more about participating.
It's hilarious to me that contract conjurer is such a well known card for wild players but standard players hardly see it

Rarran there was a 3rd mistake on celestial ink set, the "c" in "cost" was capitalized on your card and it wasn't on the actual card
