I do see comments that it cld be a dead snake, or perhaps a mouse or the like. But I also remember seeing a video a year or so ago where one of the elephants had a freak out because it smelled the pee or poo of a bull elephant. Or male. I don't know what the difference is between a male elephant and a bull elephant.
Elephant mothers are so attentive and attune to their babies. Everytime a baby ellie is distress, Mama is always there right away to reassure and comfort. Elephants are truly some of the best mothers. They're both very beautiful. Thank you, Lek and ENP. God Bless You All.🙏🐘❤
LekLek's first reaction sure looked like she was alarmed to me, especially in the way she held her tail...that was something I've never seen before. I wonder if that is also a way elephants indicate they are feeling some level of surprised distress?
