It's wonderful to see baby Chaba and her teenage mama Bunma doing so well and loving life. They were quite a mess when they arrived 5 months ago. Their transformation has been miraculous!! Luv this baby girl so much!! 💙💋💙🐘🐘💙💋💙
They sure are having fun playing in the watery mud. So cute how they like to slide down into it competing for the same spot. Afterwards chasing the dogs and people around. That’s a great day for all!
She is cute! "Mischievous" means to seek mischief. It is so easy for us to attribute human-like attributes to eles, but she wasn't seeking mischief. She had her sights set on playing with the dog. They're so intelligent, but they're not us.
I replied to you about a newer video (at a different channel) of Mae Sri that I don't think you saw, either my reply to you or the video. Check for that reply. :)
@@cacatr4495 Thanks for helping tracking down the status for Mae Sri. I think leaving message like this under ENP RUclips video sometimes would prompt them to post update on the elephants inquired, too. I just saw a new update (no video tho) with pics of Mae Sri fell again on FB Elephant Natural Park group and how they hoisted her up and gave her IV for dehydration. I think she is just getting weaker on her own with the dehydration issues (?). Lmk If you are interested in joining that group.
@@MH-pz8wf I found her Dec. video on a non-ENP channel, filmed and posted by a helper of Lek's, check our previous reply-thread, it told you the channel-name. ~ Sometimes they check comments, but oft-times not. I would like to thank you for responding my question once again thank you very much I enjoy watching this baby elephant and the mama elephant👍♥️🇺🇸👍 Lots of love for the animal
@@joshatlas Actually, it's not a sanctuary, as a "sanctuary" is big enough, huge, to where animals can live free of people 24/7, and are not limited to the amount of acreage that ENP has. (ENP is much too small to be a sanctuary.) The whole reason they have night-shelters there, and are accompanied by mahouts, is because it's *not a sanctuary. If it were a sanctuary, they would live in Nature without being housed at night, and they wouldn't have to be tended by mahouts. They could walk for miles, 24/7, without being dependent on people, just like living in the Wild. The mahouts accompany them to keep them off of neighbor's property, to keep them safe. A sanctuary itself is protected, so that the animals within it don't need escorts. ENP is a rescue-park, or just as the name says, an elephant nature park. Their chosen-name is very fitting. :)
@@joshatlas I was defining the word/term. While we could say that it's a "sanctuary" and a refuge, the problem is that mixing terms confuses people. By defining the term, I was hoping and trying to bring clarity and understanding to people who might not fully understand the differences, differences that have put limits on Lek's desire that the elephants roam free in the biggest sense possible, such that they need much more land. When people understand the limits and problems of a smaller parcel of land in their work, they can then understand that support is needed to buy a much larger, HUGE, piece of acreage. It's a working difference that completely impacts what all they can do, that limits dreams and full freedom. While ENP does protect the elephants from torture, sticking with the classical definitions will help people understand the larger need. That's important. They truly do need a far larger piece of land. :)
@@joshatlas I'd love too. But I don't think I'll ever get to Asia. Especially nowadays with Covid & omicron virus or whatever it's called pandemics! At an Australian Zoo, I've patted a rhino. I think zoos here have animal contact experiences, so I'll have to find out if there's an ele one! When I was a kid the zoo had ele rides: so I've been on an ele. I suppose they used the horrible hook thing. But the animal, I think woud've been treated better here than in Asia!
