- The Kubinka Tank Museum is a large military museum in Kubinka, Odintsovsky District, Moscow Oblast, Russia where tanks, armoured fighting vehicles (AFVs) and their relevant information are displayed and showcased. This video is a tour of this incredible museum with commentary and history of the vehicles on display.
Ive been to Kubinka. Its the holy grail of tank museums.
@Marv Watkins Bovington is great but Kubinka is something else.
@@Internetbutthurt I do agree that Kubinka is the holy grail of tank museums. Your right on that.
Personally I'd say Bovington mainly cos of 131
@@willbillo_5416 good point
I want to visit Kubinka more because I’ve been to Bovington a thousand times but I’ll still stay Bovington is incomparable. The amount of running vehicles, the great lighting and information, it’s just much better. Kubinka used to be awful in terms of interactivity, everything just shoved in a poorly lit hangar
Congratulations to Russia for really stepping up and spending the money on upgrading the Kublinka Museum, and all the fresh restoration work on the vehicles.
Has to be the most complete WWII Tank Museum in the world.
The Soviet Union paid dealy to have these amazing War Prizes.
Hope to visit it someday. Really does justice to the displays!
Great Job guys! The US collection needs this kind of budget and committment.
At least the UK, France, and Germany each have good armor museums
Hello emperor God of god king lion shark alpha Male bear.... on behalf of mr. Putin we beg of you to accept our thanks for your congratulatory praises. Your acknowledgement of our subordinate race deeply humbles us. We will now, in your honor, dig a hole carefully enough so that it turns into what we will label a " long lost ancient pyramid discovered" and live out the remainder of our days wondering how it was built while we host weekly plays imitating you in all your wisdom and godly creationist creations. The retards mimick drug addicts who work for one days pay until its time to switch spots where they go and hide in a box and wipe the paint off their face or feed their alcoholism before a fun beat the kids before grounding them for no reason family moment.
Thank god for your wisdom of all things in existence. We appreciate your broken down explanation as to how and what our lives dictated the past... how many years again?
@@privategoogler8997 What the fuck are you exactly talking about?
yes very cool, Tanks looking new🤩
''#Has to be the most complete WWII Tank Museum in the world.'' good one
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!, the restoration of these tanks was done so well that they look like they just rolled off the factory floor with summer 43' or 44' camo paint job! I know this was not easy to do and these Russians did it right! Thumbs up and 5 stars for their efforts!
The trick of this Museum is that almost all of its expansions on the go!
I like how they show the Germany and Japan tanks too. I like to see that place in person. Good job.
Utterly impressive. Where else would one find such incredible historic relics so well preserved? Would love to be there.
I was there, if you want to go there make sure that you go with someone who speaks Russian because it's not easy to get to the old Kubinka museum or into Patriot park. Not many people in Russia speak english.
The tragedy is that the Kubinka testing establishment had about three times more Axis and Soviet vehicles up until the early sixties, and they scrapped most of them - despite pleas to place them in other public Museums (the Kubinka Museum was off-limits to the public until around the eighties)
@@_________________404 Tell us when you've actually been to Russia. I moved here 7 years ago but the first year I arrived, I went to Kubinka (2012) for tankers day in September.. could not speak anything other than hello/goobye and yes/no.... They do have English speakers there and people do have an education here... they don't live in mud huts! Every school teachers mostly German and English as second languages!
Patriot Park is modern and the exhibits grow each year. Most the old soviet prototypes where kept in storage but they also have modern weapon systems there. It's free for the main park... but you will have to pay extra for different attractions with enactments etc.
Rule Britannia Well that’s true. But what I meant is that less people speak english than for example in Germany or other western countries. Yes, in patriot park there are people who speak english because they were hired to do that, but people like the security guards ususally speak only Russian.
Bovington
When people say that the soviets were the most destructive of everything during the second world war i find that hard to believe, they have a museum with so many rare variants and prototypes of tanks form the germans and the japanese
A wonderful museum, a lot of these vehicles I have never seen. I so glad that the collections are being maintained for future generations!
Translation courtesy of Google Translate: "It is really wonderful to see that the museum has a special exposition for Soviet-Japanese conflicts. Historians do not pay tribute to these conflicts, but they play a decisive role in the role that they played during the years of World War II. Thanks again for the wonderful video!"
.
I was there some years ago and I can tell you that’s the best world tank museum, the second one is Bobington camp In England
Here at Kubinka you can ride a tank for a reasonable price
The Russian people is very nice and gently with foreigners , the soldiers are very nice people
Unfortunately they not speak English
The other good tank museum is Patton museum near Louisville Kentucky
Greetings to tank lovers from Chile 🇨🇱
Amazing museum. I could only imagine the iconic smell of the paint, oil and metal of all these vehicles in one place. I wish I could actually go there in the future!
"Here are light lend-lease tanks"
*pans past a Matilda II*
Fantastic museum well laid out and spacious. Top marks to whoever put this together. Brilliant from UK
Fantastico museo 👍 complimenti per il video Grazie
This doesn't look like a museum.. it's like a showroom where you can buy brand new tanks!
Wow! Great work by the Russians to restore their, the allies, and the enemy war vehicles.
WOW! This display is very well done.
This was a really interesting walk-through - thanks for uploading
Thanks for the quick tour. Looks like it will be a great destination for armor enthusiasts.
Best tank museum I know. I'd love to visit there.
5:10 I thought this round observation vehicle was Japanese, captured in Manchuria. I would like to visit this museum someday. Thanks for taking us there.
It was made by the Germans, but used by Japanese
I would visit this museum any time again. It's such an amazing place to visit with things you would never experience in other countries.
Thanks for a great job and interesting walkthrough!!!
Great to see they're all painted in a fair approximation of original colors, great looking museum as well
Bellissimo video! Grazie per averci fatto vedere tutti i veicoli (soprattutto i bellissimi carri armati e semoventi) e i cannoni del museo!
A tremendous range of artefacts on display, very impressive.
This is Patriot Park
If your are thinking of visiting both museums and you don't live in the Russian Federation and don't speak and Read Russian, it will cost you
A driver and car to get out there
And interpreter to translate
And for kubinka you must pay to be escorted around as it is also an active air force base!
And don't bother sending emails to them as they won't reply to you if it is in English,
But I found a company "All Tour's Russian" were great at organizing this for you.
And both museums are worth it.
@LineOfCars
I don't think you got what I was on about.
I have been to many European countries, but Russia is a little harder to get around and for example if you don't live in the Russian Federation you Must list on your Visa application that you want to go to the museums as you are not permitted to just drop in if your are traveling though Moscow!
Thank you for sharing this! Please go to the Luga Russia armor museum next and share your video.
Amazing.Superb,I would visit soon.
merci beaucoup pour cette visite virtuelle .
Amazing collection thanks for the video🤠👍
Museum creators seem to love blue lighting!
Looks like what the kids do to their rice rocket cars in SoCal.
WOW, totally awesome collection. Congrats to Russia for putting time/effort this amazing display. Thankyou for sharing, great video. Would definitely love to visit. 👍🏻👌🏻👋🇦🇺
Bouncy camera not withstanding, this is a great video! Thanks for showing us all the amazing stuff they have there.
This is beautifully done. It is a fabulous museum. The lend lease tanks are of great interest.
Keeping History alive. Great job 🍀💚
Very interesting, thank you for taking the time and effort to make and upload this video.
I think "incredible" is a pretty good description.
This is looking good. Allways wanted to visit Russia and kubinka tankmuseum. Maybe ill wait until it is finished.
Thanks for the video and congratulations to you and the museum staff on the start of a magnificent tribute to the fighting men and women of this conflict.
Thank You! So many museum's I'll never get to go to. Thank Goodness for You Tube and people like you!
.
That was great. I saw several things I have not seen before, such as some of the Japanese armour.
Well, when I'm old enough I know where I'm going can't wait just to see all that history, well when I get the chance I'll see how it compares to the one down in Bovington.
It’d be hell to go against the Germans. Respect to the Russian people for living through it and succeeding
Fantastic video. Thanks very much for making this. 👌👍
I just can't get over the irony of how horrific war is, but how exciting it is to see the tanks and planes and machinery, and hear the stories of 70+ years ago. Well it's not boring, that's for damn sure.
Thank you. It’s a beautiful museum. Some of the Japanese armor I have never seen before. One thing they need to include more is the lowly truck. Being the German army over look having a standardized truck, in the long run they paid a heavy price.
A great military museum! I want to visite this museum.See you later!
Thank you I enjoyed the commentary.
really an amazing job. keeping all these units in good condition and displayed so nicely!
Good video an very amazing collection 👍
WOW!!! A very interesting place to visit indeed. Bovington got itself a very serious opponent
very impressive museum
This pavilions in the video are, actually, at the Patriot park, not Kubinka museum. Quite possibly, all pre-WWII and WWII subjects from Kubinka are going to be moved there. Kubinka will retain only experimental vehicles of the post-WWII period.
The Patriot is located at the same town, but few miles apart from the old Kubinka museum.
that's why MAUS and Morser Karl are not in the video. they are still in the original Kubinka museum (maybe to heavy to being moved without damage)
Thanks so much for putting this on . I'm now a Russian resident only 300 km from Moscow , must plan a visit .
2:19 that’s not a Sturmgeschütz. It’s a Sturminfanteriegeschütz SiG 33.
Very impressive collection at Kubinka. The vehicles also seem to be in an excellent condition!
Thanks for doing the short walking tour. Greatly appreciated it!
Fenomenal men! Very good!
Thank goodness, I’m very happy you posted this, I tried finding an unbiased tour that wasn’t shoving Ukraine war propaganda down my throat. I had to go find one posted from before the war.
Nicely done Mr. Irincheev. Thanks for the quick ‘walk around’ tour! Are all vehicles ‘open’ to see what the inside looks like? (I noted a few vehicles appeared to allow this).
Oh I wish to come 😭 from Indonesia 🇮🇩
Awesome! Thank you. I want to visit that museum!
Someone should assemble all the great tank museums together and put all the tanks in one exhibit. And drive around the ones that still work.
Bk Jeong ikr!! 😂 but not as many people will be able to see them
Great video, thanks for doing this!
Been there myself last year. There are two museums, Kubinka and Patriot park. Patriot is absolutely massive. This is just a small part of it, but I see they brought in Japanese tanks, those wern't there neither the m24 near by BS-3. Think Nashorn got a new paintjob too. The thing with these tanks is that you don't experience just how big they are until you stand in front of it.
I like Tank's. Thank You.
Very impressive museum.I would love to visit it.
Wow this place is huge.I would love to visit here if I could very impressive
I enjoyed your film! Thank you!
Wow. It's amazing that this isn't even the full collection, there's still all kinds of other Russian tanks left to be put on display. Just wait until the Maus and IS-7 make the transfer over
Great video!!
Museum is great!!
Thanks very much for that. Great look at one cool place.
very nice and interesting , great work from Long Island NY
Amazing displays!!!
4:41 yes it’s the Ferdinand. It doesn’t have the bow machine gun port.
As everyone knows, only 90 of these tanks were built. One was here, the other in the Aberdeen proving grounds in Maryland. The rest were destroyed( most of them) at the battle of Kursk.
Ross Jones I am aware of this. And correction it was 88. Half were destroyed at Kursk, some at Anzio, some in Northern Italy, a number of them on the Eastern Front between Operation Bagration and 1945, and the last few in Berlin. Mark Felton Productions did a video on this. Don’t worry. I know. As a history major, and a studied of the Second World War, I must know this. Thanks for tuning in.
@@thetankcommander3838 Sorry for my ignorance, my bad.
Several very early models. Would love to visit one day.
Отличный обзор и владение английским языком! Perfect English Mastering
Moving the maus
Russian use the bias power
I could see them using 10 Mi-26 Helis to lift that thing up
@@lpflore when I was there,I saw a Kamow 50 or 52 flying over the park
@@sovietheart3883 Ah yes, the Ka-50 and Ka-52, some of the most beautiful helicopters ever
@@lpflore I even took a photo
@@lpflore I also liked the partisan forest
Japanese tanks and armoured vehicles were very efficient against all kinds of weapons... as katana, arrows and spit&curst.
😂😂😂
I must compliment you on your excellent english. I can tell you have worked very hard on your accent. I notice only a little bit a Russian accent now and then. Bravo.
This video should be 2 hours. thanks for posting.
This place is on my bucket list. Hopefully relations with Russia and the U.S. thaw in a few years and I can take a trip here.
You can alway go to Ukraine and see these same tanks and older destroyed everywhere
Great collection
Holy sh*t ! A Jagdtiger, an Elephant, a Sturmtiger, a Königstiger and a Jagdpanther at the same place 👀
What an amazing museum.
Thanks for posting.
Outstanding museum
On tosi mielenkiintoinen museo 👍👍👍
Beautiful. But a little seasick from the camera wobble.
The camera does not , (wobble) that much !
The display looks first rate. Excellent job. I like the way the Russian tanks are faced by their adversaries too.
I've been to 'Tankfest' at Bovington a couple of times, and this museum is definitely on my to-do list; it has an amazing collection. If I visit Moscow it'll hopefully be possible to get there and back without being able to speak much Russian?
можно )
Great video. I hope they are all in running order some day
Very nice presentation. Thank you.
I wish I could go there Sana all
I particularly liked the walk around of the tiger! Also all the noise from the weird lightning was a bit distracting.
Amazing!
Hope they will move the Maus and Karl over to the new museum i need to go there someday. Greetings from Germany. PS hope they will mive all Vehicles in the New Museum
Almost impossible, the museum was built around the vehicles, but I agree, it possible it should be done, maybe outside as an eye catcher
リニューアルしたのですね、素晴らしいコレクションの数だし塗装も綺麗に塗り替えられて良い感じてす‼️特に日本戦車のコレクションが素晴らしい❗世界No.1のタンクミュージアムですね‼️
I was there!
Great video! Also very good use of English. I never saw the forward observer vehicle before. Now I want to visit.
