Starting up my T54 Russian Tank

- This tank is a blast to drive and everything works on it. It's got a 12 cylinder diesel engine that puts out almost 600hp. It has a manual transmission and 100mm gun. It also holds 320 gallons of diesel fuel. These were made right after WWII and in production in 1947.
If you'd like to see more of my military vehicles, come visit the museum on a Wednesday at 10am or a Sunday at 10am through November 11th. We only do 1 tour each day.
The machine gun shoot is on September 19th and 20th. The museum will be open both days Saturday and Sunday at 10am for guided tours. You guys can see the museum in the morning and shoot machine guns in the afternoon. The dirt bike track, paintball rentals, machine shop, gun store and the shooting range will be open to the public while the machine gun shoot is going on.

2:31 That's a czech script saying: "SMG magazines". That makes this piece even more interesting, cause it is almost certainly a czechoslovak license-built one (probably in ZTS Martin in Slovakia).

Guns N' Games is it? It might actually be functional. Is has a cover on the end of it. Non functional guns usually have the barrel plugged. Why would there be a cover on it if the barrel was plugged?

@@_b_x_b_1063 во лбу корпуса есть пулемётное гнездо + на крыше башни торчит броне-колпак вентилятора, так что это всё ещё Т-54, т.к. нет никакой герметичности, а значит и защиты от оружия массового поражения соответственно, чем Т-54 и отличается от своего продвинутого "близнеца". Да и заводская комплектация у Т-55А должна быть значительно иной, в первую очередь это должно касаться боевого отделения, однако никакого вспомогательного противоатомного оборудования лично я не вижу...

I met Dragon Man thirty years ago while hauling fill dirt out to his place. Mel took me around his shop showed me his Dragon Bike and gave me a t-shirt. He is one of the nicest most friendly people I have ever had the pleasure to meet! Terrific interesting, knowledgeable , and gentle man.

I saw some Czech writing on the inner wall of the turret, it seems that it is a Czech made not a Russian made. The radio equipment was made in Russia though. Would have been interesting to see all of the gauges and tablets in the tank

You should put steel pipes filled with concrete and in the ground around them ...so they provide protection to the doorway when you pull your tank out of the garage.... kind of like at the gas station they have poles to protect the gas pumps...😎

I thought this man had ww2 weapons, uniforms, and equipment but now he has a full blown tank.
Oh, main switch defective. No electrical device may be running immediately after switching on the main switch. And no oil was pre-pumped before starting. But really very well maintained and a nice sound.

So this must be the late model T-54 or T-54/55, this one was made in Slovakia and near the muzzle of the gun is the bore evacuator which were added to the new D-10TG gun (1955).

Here in the US this is perfectly legal. Having an operational cannon is the only hiccup but you solve that with time, paperwork, tax stamps, and living in a state that doesn’t hate the second amendment.

With enough money, licensing and no criminal record you can legally buy just about anything in America. Most important thing is having lots of money.
