And PSA abbreviates everything - looks like an alien language on the label but I know investors trust it more, sadly. Up charging because the card gets a high grade is borderline extortion. Giving a card a higher grade doesn't increase the cost to them to grade the card and a lot of the time PSA is just wrong about the actual value of a card.
@@StrykerBreaks Hitman Rips was up charged on his Mac Jones white sparkle 1/1 autograph that he got graded in person at the 2022 National. PSA said as a 10 it was worth over 100k but he had an offer for like 75k if it graded a 10. And if I remember correctly he paid several thousand dollars extra.
@@johnm1008 so if the 'upcharge' is for 'insurance' why did he get charged thousands of it was in person ?? They're skimming off top before YOU even get paid for it...
Hey Stryker if you put the stack upside down you’ll only have to use one cardboard instead of two and we’ll see the grades together still just a thought, love your channel brotha
I know people go crazy about 10's but the more you submit to PSA the better grades you will get all together it's common sense. Great PSA order with all those 10's must have made a huge killing with this return.
I see those purple speckles are really nicely centered compared to other colors. I should have gotten you to send my Black Eclipse Supernova Ohtani 10/10..Got a 9 😢.
man, the left/right centering on that last Shohei card is not 10-worthy...looks like it would be a solid 9, but definitely not worthy of being a 10...I know I wouldn't pay what other valid PSA 10s go for if I was looking at that card, say, on Ebay...

The upcharge is for insurance purposes. Cards worth more cost more to insure.

No other grading company upcharges so upcharges are just an old fashion shakedown. F'ing ridiculous. I'll never use PSA.
