A good way to make these videos better is to show the current price of it raw vs psa 10 vs whatever grade it got. Probably too much work to be worth it though lol
I 100% agree its easy to get lackadaisical when looking thru that many cards. I've found my submissions are worse when I spend too much time looking at cards. It helps me to set aside what I want to send. Then right before I send them, I take another look.
Congrats on the stacks of 10s including a few of those that just make your order as a 10! It's live and learn. I still have cards I grade and miss stuff or still have no clue why something got a bad grade. It's fun though! Great reveal! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Lol, spent 2 hrs going thru 100 cards and surprised to have missed blemishes etc. Bro, i spend about 2 weeks going thru 50 cards to narrow down to 25ish cards. I STILL miss things
Back in the late 90s I sent PSA thousands of 50s and 60s baseball cards and out of every full 20 count box they ALWAYS would put in one 8 , and a couple 7s and 1 that showed evidence of trimming now all the cards were looked at by three people and if they all agreed should be a 9 then they would be sent in , took all the 8s and 7s over time busted them out of the holders sent them back in for grading and out of EVERY 20 count box would get at least 5 nines , and the rest 8s. Resubmit them enough and u would eventually get the grade they deserved , all about playing their games !!!!!!! Just a note all the cards were from " PRESENTATION " sets and all the cards met the size requirements!!! Got these sets from a retired candy distributor
Congrats on the 10's, always a gamble some products are tough grades, but part of the hobby is ripping fin packs, take care, have a great weekend with your family
I sent in a Brady rookie to PSA, that I know was at least a 9. I made sure the corners were sharp, and it came back with a corner all dinged up and gave me an 8. I am sure someone had to have dropped it at PSA. No one would ever admit it.
Centering is to the right on the rear of the green AR. Not sure if that + the corner is a reason for an 8 or not but the centering is definitely noticeable.
Just a suggestion but when looking for print lines, look at the card under natural light AND a artificial lamp light. I've noticed things in natural light that seem to disappear when I look at it under a lamp.
I used to send like 40 at a 50 at once but it’s much easier for me now to do 10 at a time take a break and do 10 more. Then submit 4 or 5 different 10 card orders.
Wow, you got lucky with the grader!! That zebra Brady was way off center, and they still gave it a 10?!? We can clearly see some other ones are also off-center that got a 10 as well. Any card with a paper back without a super sharp corner on the back will most likely get a 9 or less. There's a trick to tell if a card is centered by the design on the card. The Justin Jefferson Elite Rookie card was way high on centering if you look at the purple on the corners, the top is much thinner than the bottom part of the design. But keep the footage coming, brotha! 😀
I read on PSA they allow for some minor printing imperfections. My understanding is a single dimple or a very small print line can be forgiven. The problem is one grader may hammer you for it and one may not. So many times I see something on a card I missed on the 2nd or 3rd look at it. Unless it is for the PC and I don't care about the value, I stopped sending anything that won't at least break even with a 9 after grading fees.
Just got a 28 card sub today. 67% Gem. No 8’s Pop control no doubt. I knew better than to send 4 of the same card in. Guess how it worked out? 2- Gems and 2 Mints. Your grader is definitely doesn’t collect Herbert and collects Tua. The grades show
I think I'm going to try sending my bgs 9.5's to psa for crossover. Originally, they were all psa 10's. If I go through with it, I would put psa 10 as the minimum grade. I do prefer beckett's grading scale and label design. Although beckett's inner sleeve causes issues with the clarity and presentation. Is there a risk of damaging the card when psa crosses over a bgs, due to the inner sleeve?
If anyone ever sell card at a card show do upcharge the buyer because you had to pay gradings because that happened to me with a purdy rookie and I ended up not buying it
Honest question, why did it seem like you noticed so many imperfections in just a few seconds of seeing your cards again? Do you think their process brings out flaws once/if they clean them up nice?
I have a complaint in with PSA right now on 2 cards I got back, first one has a massive indention right up the middle, like your Nico card. No way I would ever send that in, another card has a huge crease on the back of it, again no way IU send that. They were back to back in the order. Seeing a lot of this stuff, even though PSA told me the cards are constantly monitored with video, from opening to slab. Even if they see something, you think they would actually tell you?
This was either a stingy grader or just some stuff on the back. I did notice a little whitening (assuming it’s not light) on some corners. Hypothetically, those print lines shouldn’t really affect your grade too much because some of them are actually within PSA standards.
Im getting ready to send my first submission in, cj green pulsar/orange laser/base prizm- some wembys green laser/prizm base- elly HFA/foilboard/royal blue- few autos and a sp copper glitter optic paulo # not really sure what to look for other than corners, centering, print lines, do you recommend taking to a card shop to have prepped or just do my best myself and send them in? Thanks for any advice!
Some great cards!!! Congrats!Look at all your cards, centering, surface, all of the above to make sure that they get the grades they deserve and you shouldn’t have to worry about them coming back with unreasonable grades.✌🏻
I don't think taking to a card shop and having them take a look would hurt anything. A 2nd or 3rd set of eyes is always helpful and they usually know what to look for. But this is just my opinion
Your not gonna see the imperfections with your naked eye those guys that grade them get paid a lot of money a 10 mint condition means just that it’s a perfect card they magnify it by like 50 times lol
Those lines in the card are not considered print lines I don’t know why people call them that. I’ve gotten and seen 100s of 10s with those bold lines in the card from factory
Great video. I have the same issues with large submissions-sometimes I miss obvious stuff because my eyes start to cross looking through the loupe for too long.
I still feel PSA too freely gives 10’s for grades. BGS can be a pain (my last sub I got no 10’s and 6 9.5’s on 10 cards graded),but at least they’re accurate and fair. Dimples on cards and they’re still getting a 10?!
You need to try TAG grading!! Way better thn psa. They tell and show you what's wrong with the card online!! Done with lasers! No humans..Slabs look better as well!! 👍🏼 👌🏼 🔥
Imagine being in 2024 and thinking PSA has any rhyme or reason for giving you a 9 or 10 lol. It's some underpaid worker who's going through cards at a wreckless pace. People seriously thinking they studying your $40 card and making some tough decisions lmao. I know you have some relationship with PSA but you should be real with the people.
Imagine reading a comment and feeling the burning desire to have to respond. We could do this all day. You took time out of your day the same way I did.
@user-mr6pp9qg6bcool story but I know for a fact that psa controls the population on certain cards. Not so much on ultra modern but definitely on older 90’s Jordan’s

Some great cards in your submission, hey anything over 60% gem rate is good. Thanks for sharing!

TAG ends the games in grading for the most part imo
Congrats on the 10's, always a gamble some products are tough grades, but part of the hobby is ripping fin packs, take care, have a great weekend with your family
This is why I prefer the BGS grading method because they basically tell you where you went wrong
Great stuff as always, PSA reveals are always a nervous and fun ride. I just did an 82 card one, I may be insane.
The green Anthony Richardson was cut crooked. Didnt realize this was a thing until a got one back
Nice Submission I'm a Dolphins fan so glad to see the good grades on Tua and Hill. 65% is great. See you on the next one.
Thank You for sharing that was a good outcome a lot of 10s .I will be doing my first video & reveal in 60 days right here on youtube .

A lot of the big cards were 10’s. So that was a pretty good return. The Randy Arozarena was awesome! Bummer on the Posey rookies.
I like the way you analyze the cards afterwards
Centering is to the right on the rear of the green AR. Not sure if that + the corner is a reason for an 8 or not but the centering is definitely noticeable.
Lmao! We never anticipate an 8 pile :) It sucks when it happens, and it happens to all of us at one point
Holy stack slab!! Lol, nice return guys! Lots of 10's!!
Awesome cards brotha!!! You the man!!!
Just a suggestion but when looking for print lines, look at the card under natural light AND a artificial lamp light. I've noticed things in natural light that seem to disappear when I look at it under a lamp.
Well Ian your grades prove there was no favoritism and you just convinced me to stick to my guns and never send cards in for grading.
Great video. Still trying to convince myself to do my first submission.

What’s the cost to grade all those ?
Ain't cheap. That's why getting a 9 or less can hurt LOL.
Question: How much did it cost to submit in 62 cards? Thank you. Great video and thank you for sharing.
Cool video 🤟 I sent in my first submission, hoping not to get a single 8!😅
JJ on the Bengals. They'd be spending $120 mil per year for 3 players. The rest of there team would have to be on Rookie Deals and Vet Minimums. LOL
Congrats on getting Nikki's card a 10! I just hope she don't ever have an argument with the guy 😂

I sent 3 submissions in post sale, totaling 76 cards. I managed a 59% gem rate, with 2 flukey 6s, 5 8s and the rest being 9s or 10s
Very nice grades for the most part.
Impressive gem rate... Anything over 50 percent nowadays is a win.
lots of my mosaic cards were dented on the backs and i did not notice it at all.
Well, what can you do?
Thought you had an "in" with PSA? 😅
Thanks for sharing!

Take Care/Stay Safe ✌
I could see some white corners on many of your 9's. Keep an eye on that.
Just got a 28 card sub today. 67% Gem. No 8’s Pop control no doubt. I knew better than to send 4 of the same card in. Guess how it worked out? 2- Gems and 2 Mints. Your grader is definitely doesn’t collect Herbert and collects Tua. The grades show
The green AR is a touch off center too. Sad you got an 8, but for the sake of PSA’s grading quality standards it’s ok.
I started grading cards in 1998 and its crazy to me that collectors these days are disappointed with Mint 9's
A 2,000 dollarPSA 10 would be worth 150 in a 9…. A lot has changed… the hobby almost considers anything less than 10 worthless
@@changedman7627 sad

Donruss cards seem softer to me. Maybe check corners?
Weird that the J Mo XRC didn’t state it was a XRC
Nice hits there bro
Congrats on the 10's
If you sell that giddy card I would be intrested
Honest question, why did it seem like you noticed so many imperfections in just a few seconds of seeing your cards again? Do you think their process brings out flaws once/if they clean them up nice?
Damm feels bad for the Pickett and ridder
That's an amazing ratio!!!

do you keep them all or sell
some
Why did you grade Ridder?!
Did some of your cards get damaged after you sent them off?
Amazing. I have a sub that was the January special. Arrived to them feb 5, order prep Feb 12th and it’s still in grading 🥲
Man I gotta send some cards in! Great video man I was waiting for this one!
Way solid cards!
Need that zebra J Mo
Man if only psa gave subgrades and explained why the perfect cards got 9’s 😂
This was either a stingy grader or just some stuff on the back. I did notice a little whitening (assuming it’s not light) on some corners. Hypothetically, those print lines shouldn’t really affect your grade too much because some of them are actually within PSA standards.
Don't screen grab the images from psa, there is a download button. A screen grab would downgrade the quality dramatically.
How much would it cost to submit about 50 different cards at once to PSA all the way from New Zealand?????
Dude got a 9 w a print line? Hmmmm shht maybe I might send my cards in 😂 "no way they get less than a 9" I said to myself
If you want to sell the 8 & 9's I would be interested in all of them
You know a 9 isn't the worse thing in the world geesh

Do they not have half grades anymore? (8.5, 9.5, etc.)
Where do you get it?
You're order was 900 some dollars. How much was the insurance on this order
You selling the tua???
Wat if the print line is on the very end
I want that Jordan Love :(
Bro, 64% is pretty - good
To be a PSA worker you probably gotta go through a 2 week class an you’re a pro
I’d love to get cards graded but I never get anything worth grading
Even if you did 70 percent straight out the box won’t even make it to grade… I bought hobby boxes and corners banged up on every single hit.
Very soon graded cards worth less than ungraded cards, I wain ansious jajajaja.
Disapointed his base got a 9 unreal grade cards worth grading
Your not gonna see the imperfections with your naked eye those guys that grade them get paid a lot of money a 10 mint condition means just that it’s a perfect card they magnify it by like 50 times lol
Why would you get cards graded when a ten is only 30 dollars
Those lines in the card are not considered print lines I don’t know why people call them that. I’ve gotten and seen 100s of 10s with those bold lines in the card from factory
I’ve also had cards that were to too big to fit in mags strange ultra pro 35pt mags but other cards have fit in same one 😮
Grading base lol. We are all suckers for watching this. All of us. Especially me
I will buy the Derick stingley auto if you want to sell it he is my pc

PSA is better for flipping
Oh hell nah
Wow…. That Brady zebra got a 10?
The centering is way off. PSA does a really good job at pissing people off.
Buster card is 14 years old. Another 11 years for it to be a 25 year old card
Photogenic is a hard grade
Show the profit next time
Ian your math ain't mathing. 2010 was 14 years ago not almost 25 😂
Young # match 9?😂
🔥
Tom Brady Zebra is soooo off-center. Should have been an 8 or 9. How did that grade a 10?? Typical PSA.
10 on the brady and catering it like 25 75 horrible
This just shows me how inconsistent psa is ✍️

Clearly seems you have been hurt by PSA before by the looks of it 😂
Imagine reading a comment and feeling the burning desire to have to respond. We could do this all day. You took time out of your day the same way I did.
Do they say why they are rated down? They should for what you are paying.
Why is this guy mad that someone got a 65% gem rate? Hey buddy I got 82.5% on my last sub, are you mad at me now 😢
@user-mr6pp9qg6bcool story but I know for a fact that psa controls the population on certain cards. Not so much on ultra modern but definitely on older 90’s Jordan’s
That 8 looks off top to bottom
Yikes a base Will Levis is a sell raw not grade
Not my thing
Don't believe ANY blind reveal videos as you can see your grades online at the PSA site as soon as they are graded....but nice try
I never look online before I do a blind submission. It’s way more fun for me.
