Same I just bought it and I hate it. No way is this thing good for music. Very flat and no bass even after maxing it out with the equalizer. Can’t believe all the rave reviews for it online!! Returning mine and currently searching for something that play music clearly and fills a room up. This thing def does NONE of those
This is not a proper review. This is an advertisement for the product. Where are the conclusion? Where are the opinions? How does it hold up to the competition? Is it worth the money? Whats the pros and the cons? What should be changed, improved or done different? A review should answer, if not all, then most of the questions Stated above.
This is exactly how I felt about this "review".
I have two of these and they’re great for me. The only downside is that if you pair up the speakers and watch a video the video and audio do not sync up, you can use 1 speaker for videos and it’s great.
That's kind of a big problem.

@@KungKokkosThat's what I thought, I have a standard Boom and want to upgrade, not interested in the docking bit or the "magic button" just more bass and volume, I quite like the tripod mound of the Boom too, going the check the Megaboom 2

@@samlevasseur They released a newer wonderboom last year but it doesn’t seem like much of an improvement over the last one. No usb c either. Who knows at this point.

$171 today. This is my 2nd UE Mega. The 1st lasted 6 years. Great sound and rugged. My family absolutely beat the heck out of this speaker before it finally gave up the ghost.
My Ue megaboom speaker was at critical battery so i plugged it in, the charger light started to blink. so i left it to charge over night, but the next morning, it was still at
"critical battery", have a solution for this?
You may need a more powerful charging cube
I use this in the yard and garage. Like it more than my Bose.

Sound tests are futile for speaker/audio videos. It only plays the quality of the speaker you’re playing the video on.
cant think of anything bad about this is the best in2023 except one thing it really nagging us to get the app ones you download the app its an really cool speakers tells battery limit when you hold plus and min together get one its my 1 ever blue tooth speaker 😊

I like mine sounds great but my battery don't even make it thru an 8 hr work day dies at about 6 hrs :(

Hello fellow consumer,
Still deciding on whether this is a good purchase? Here are some important notes before you buy that I wish I knew:
- this product was made in 2018 so it still has the mini USB to USB cable that old androids used to have, I saw this as a negative.
- If you want bass, go for the JBL. The mega boom has good sounding quality but it doesn’t have the volume or bass of a JBL. I had to use this for work and it needed to be 80% volume to reach me. The farther you get, the more muffled it sounds, horrible !
- This speaker has poor Bluetooth range, I couldn’t stand further than 11 feet before it cuts out.
- This speaker stands 9 inches tall or 23 Cms. It’s a good decorative furniture and I would say it’s best indoors as the 360 sound will bounce off walls and ceiling.
- The app lets you turn off or on the speaker from a distance.
So in conclusion, get a JBL instead, this speaker is old. If you still want it, get it when it’s on sale. Happy shopping!

@@one80sx man just return it, that’s what I did, I recommend the JBl pulse 5 btw, it’s good aesthetic or for outdoors a party box is always great
I have listened to JBL and BOSE in this price range and the Mega Boom is still better for clarity and sound quality in my opinion. The bass is awesome as well.
You are right about range, but I dont need a speaker to be on if im 150 feet away anyhow. I usually just leave my phone next to the speaker if I'm playing basketball or working in my yard. As far as the charger, yes it needs to be upgraded to USB-C but if this is really an issue, then your life has been too easy.
I purchased this last July 2022 at the good Guys Thomastown, here I am in February 2023 and it won't charge. I phoned good Guys Saturday morning and was told not out problem it's probably the battery and that's covered. Don't buy at this store and avoid this product which I only used one hour a day

The Mega Boom 3 won;t connect for Phone calling on my Samsung Note 3, only for Music, I;m a Professional driver and need to call customers, if I'd known this non phone calling disability I would not have bought this speaker, while the sound quality is good, sometimes you need to use the phone calling feature, a pretty basic feature that should be addressed, I'll be looking for another speaker system, so if you need phone calling connectivity, DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
This is like a big wonderboom 3. .It's shockingly bad bass...the design is flawed. Don't even bother to waste your cash. I bought this, after my JBL charge 3 died. Not for critical listening.
Today I checked this speaker and spund is really bad, flat, no bass. I will send it back to Amazon.

Battery isn’t good enough. DOES NOT last up to 20hrs. I have 3 of them and battery lasts 3-4hrs only.
I bought this after buying the megabass and only now I find out it has no mic and therefore no alexa. In my opinion an absolute waste of money

I have one, my bose flex sounds better even my soundcore 300 way even better than UE.

Google.. UE boom 3 won't charge. 1000s of dead boom 3s including my brothers and ours. Avoid:(

Sounded rubbish IMO compared to my old existing UE Boombox purchased for the same price back in 2012. The “Thundering Bass” claim of the UE Megaboom 3 I feel is tantamount to outright false advertising. Has the weakest relative bass response out of all the Logitech audio products I have, even with trying to use the equalizer in the official UE app. Expected better from Logitech. Disappointed. Returned.
They are s**t. Had nothing but trouble with them. Original is better.

@@thfjacksandison2658 I have, charge 4 is wayy superior to me especially the bass. But i dont know if it's just me but i also had a Charge 2 Plus and it literally had the best bass in any portable Bluetooth speaker i've heard.
This speaker has no bass at all! I wouldn’t buy, sounds like a cheap speaker, it’s clear and crips but no bass what so ever.
What speaker would you recommend?
