Step 1 - Plan your dream build
Step 2 - Let it be a dream
i agree with this comment. i have around 40 pcpartpicker builds but i’ve never built a pc.
Step 3:Make your dream become to reality
@@spacejamgaming step 4- realised you dont have enough money and just quit building pc
Been at this stage for 8 years, got the money but keep putting it off and sticking with console lol
Nice one 😂🤣
I only consider 3 questions when I buy PC components:
1. Can I afford it?
2. Is it in stock?
3. Can I afford it??
@@Gawall657 you didn't get it
4. Are you smart enough to build it
3) Will it be better than what I already have should be #3
I only consider 1 question when I buy a PC : Is it in stock.
@@thiagogomez8237 if u can find the psrts
please do your research before buying anything , DONT RUSH , make sure everything is compatible and know what you need and want.
U sound like you’ve done this before, do you think I’ll be able to get a pc for about 600 pounds that can run games like rust at around 60 FPS??
@@JVT- probably low tbh bc I don’t have much money rn, I don’t mind playing in low but idk what components and stuff I need to buy
@@JVT- yeah I think i have a vague idea of the graphics card and stuff I just don’t know what power supply, case and motherboard to get along with fans and stuff
@@JVT- damn that’s actually really helpful cheers man. Only thing I have to figure out now is what motherboard to get
yeah just build my first pc couple of days ago , yeah sure you can , but if i were you ill wait couple of months cuz parts now are sold out or overpriced by scalpers , wait and do heavy research about parts and pc in general cuz its a lot of information and complications , and look for peoples mistakes ( maybe first timers mistakes) and learn from them , maybe up your budget a little while you wait if you can , trust me the less you rush about selecting your parts and buying them and doing more research the better, prices are gone down and parts are more available and the better you choose your parts.
3 things to consider when going for a 30 series card:
1. Is it in stock?
2. Check if it’s actually in stock.
3. Can you find it in stock anywhere on the internet?
can you afford it
#4..... Wait another 6 months 😂🤣👍👍
@@aftermax01 its 6 months no GPU's LUL
Even another 6 months :(
Not 6 months but we can now buy a gpu
The only question for me is "is it in STOCK?!" I'm ready to drop the 💰

Bro same ready to drop 2.5k but it is so scuffed out there with the scalped prices
@@maxhue four months ago I sold both of my 1080Ti, was getting ready for the new video cards, but no luck. Good thing I still got backup video cards.
Also the prices are insane right now so im waiting till spring
@@rivertipler8562 eBay is worst, I seen gtx1060/rx580 selling for $300, rx5700xt selling for $600 plus! People are stupid.
It’s not about choosing..... it’s about availability that sucks....
Yeah I’m making my first build and all I need is the GPU but they are always sold out :(
@Toxic Butch no, it’s the mining industry that takes all available cards...
@Toxic Butch people use bots to buy cards the moment they come out so there are never any in stock
You are really helpful for the people who are unexperienced
You really know how to explain it throughly and step by step, props to you man, hope you'll succeed more and more
I read this comment fast and I thought you said “you really aren’t helpful and are inexperienced”

Half these things can’t even be bought because they’re either overpriced or out of stock lol
That's how hard and rare they are in amazon
A gtx 1660 super got 2x more expensive than it was in my country
UPDATE: So I actually believe it or not managed to snag a GTX 1660 Super for about £272 on Amazon (about $380) which is still a bit overpriced but better than the alternatives on most other websites. So yay me 😎
@@crazedmerc7173 pog i got the gtx 1660 super too we best buddys

There's choosing... Then there's actually getting.
Love the positivity and quick summary. Not that I want to build now but I'm always updated with what is right for me personally
This was so much help. I’ve been searching video after video to understand what I need to build a PC but my god I never understand what the people are saying. I still don’t understand a lot you said here, but you simplified things so much it’s at a level I can understand. I’m working on a computer science degree at the moment, and I still have a long way to go, so being able to build a PC and understand everything behind it definitely helps!
Great video! I’m starting to plan my first gaming pc build (for someone else to actually build lol) and this break down makes it so much easier. Looking forward to checking out your other vids 👍
It’s no an incredible exciting time can’t get a gpu without paying triple for it
Damn scalpers
4 thousand for a white 2090 .... gezzz
Think I might go shadow cloud gaming then 🤔
@@johnwilliam8366 might change that to "3090" instead of "2090"
It would be nice to have a full build that doesn’t leave me with more questions then when I started. You should have 3 videos budget, mid tier, high end. It’s hard to tell what we should go for unless we know price ranges and how well things preform.
Thank you thank you so much! I’ve learn so much and I’m going to continue to watch your videos!
Really enjoy your content man, thanks for always making these videos. You are my favorite pc channel on youtube. Keep up the good work.
Since you mentioned smaller cases and displayed an H1, which is an mini-ITX SFFPC, I will say that for this size of case you need to select the case first not last so that you can ensure that your parts all fit.
This is my first time building a pc and I have no idea what I need or what I want even after watching the video
lmfao same
We should make a club
I just need a daddy to tell me wtf to doool

@@staticshock964 I was literally gonna build a pc (like buy parts) this Thursday coming n u just answered all my questions. - this guy is a legend @Static Shock
Perfect timing! I appreciate it!
Best way to go about it! Set myself a budget back in October, completed the build in January when the GPU finally arrived. Was under budget by about £10!
I appreciate the info about making sure you pick a graphics card and monitor that support the games you play. Because a LOT of people here want to buy the rtx 30s but don’t have money for the 1440p 144hz monitor.
I would have said to think about the look of the pc as soon as you choose the size of mother board. Although you can fit a mini itx in any case, you can’t fit an atx in a cute little case.
The sponsorship is hilarious! Also, you said "it is the best and worst time to buy." Remind me of the best part?
Best, referring to him getting all these 30 series cards when no one else can. Worst, you can’t have one.
Couldn't said it any better mate! Cheers, keep up the great content my good laddo =)
this was so helpful tysm :DDD love your content!!!
We need a video about how to actually buy these stuff nowadays
It would be a long video with much swearing when the parts sell out while in his cart LoL 😲

Thx for All the help and tips😊
Ahh the mythical 30 series graphics cards, legend tells of one being in stock in a distant land, but nobody believes it.
Come to Mexico, there's plenty of them on stores and everyone (myself included) is too poor to buy one :(

Horacio thing is tho, it’s hard to go there right now and it’s not worth travelling across the world for a gpu, plus shipping would be outrages

my guy helped me so much thank you king
My tip: Just because you have enough money to buy something, doesn't mean it makes sense to buy it. It's easy to get excited when shopping for parts and just splurge but take your time and do your research.
Talks about shortages and sponsor is a gigabyte 30 serious😂😂😂
Great video! Thanks for the tips

I like to start my builds with a value cpu, trusted motherboard, then memory.
Yea bro
Nice vid ty.
Awesome! Love it. Thank you.
step one:- wait for stock because it seems everyone on youtube has them but nobody else
Im just annoyed that so many youtubers get the video cards/cpus and post the same benchmarks as everyone else, while the actual customers get nothing
Let’s rob them.

I love what you do man, you have me watching all your videos, this is my passion but don't yet have funds to build such beasts, I'm still running a core i3 3rd Gen, with a foxcon motherboard, 6gb ddr3 ram and a 1gb graphics card, I just want to play apex and Warzone so bad and I'm so good in it but the disadvantages man, keep up the work bro, huge fan👑
I saw my jumper at the end again there. That was a nice ' tip of the cap' to me
Yea I’m just going to buy a prebuilt at this point it’s becoming too much of a hassle trying to find the parts I looked into a prebuild and they gave me a time frame with the graphics card I want so at least with that I know how long I’ll be waiting vs me trying to get one myself online
Yeah, that's what I've opted to do as well. I didn't want to go the prebuilt route, but I have no choice. After doing all the research, I found that NZXT is the best option as of now. I have saved up enough money and even then, I feel like I'm going to be spending quite a lot.

Hello recently my gaming laptop broke so I am planning to build a new gaming pc. I just want to say thank you for informing me with so much information and I can’t wait to build a new pc
Hey :) i am new to your channel but i just subbbed after watching the second video. I really like your humor and cutting style and your videos are very informative! I am planning my first own build pc build atm (well my brother will build the physical parts together) but i have to choose right now. I was very frustrated before i watched your videos but they got me in a better mood and helped with information :D 10/10!
Where can I get a graphics card from ?
Nowhere since they don't exist
My recommendation is to go on RUclips and find restock livestreams, they show all of the digital stores with all of the stock they have and models of graphics cards. However, if you have a micro center near you, I totally recommend it. They have stock, and you can also pick up your other pc parts as well.

I'm thinking about building my first gaming PC and have a question about CPUs. Are 9th generation processors considered obsolete, or are they still acceptable? I went to my local Micro Center, and they said they don't have any remaining 9th generation processors because they're discontinued, but does that mean they're also obsolete? For now, I'm just playing Warzone on my PS4 and would be playing that on a PC, but what kind of processor would I need for that?

Jkjk great video
i am looking for a video about graphics cards, I keep having worries about what NOT TO DO during my builds, as I search for a graphics card I have learned that the only limitation is my power supply unit rating. Perhaps as you build each part into the case you could mention what parts are compatible. being it AMD or Intel- or it not mattering at all- or needing to reference the motherboard website- or not needing to care at all and it only depending on the power supply- or motherboard capability etc etc. i find that most builders fail to calm these 'what if' scenarios for first time builders. god bless. you have helped me a lot!
another perfect aoc monitor for gaming is the aoc c32g2e with 165 hertz per second and and the fact that it is 32 inches and curved! for only $330 aud it is great for a budget.
