    'Not like a Caesar once did,
    shall you draw your sword
    against the world, but with the words;
    Amor fati - love your fate.'
    Translated excerpt from the poem "Amor fati" by the norwegian poet Andre Bjerke.
    Original poem: denlillemann.n...
    This piece is part of the album 'LYCKE', recorded at beautiful Ocean Sound Recordings in Ålesund, Norway. 'Amor fati' means 'love of fate', and is a well-known dogma used by stoics, artists and philosophers - most famously Nietzsche. It can be interpreted as a way of understanding and dealing with life as it carries along, with all its inevitable ups and downs. Whatever happens in life, it is your own choice when it comes to reacting and dealing with reality - like Bjerke writes in his poem; "This, I have wanted. Everything that happens to me happens fairly." Life is bittersweet, just like this melody.
