    Hey Malc, there is another way to get the watering can under the spout. Dig out a 1sq/ft area under the spout for the watering can to fit into (say 5" deep) and it will save the higher level and possibly more unstable, three layers of bricks?

    • @MalcolmKingswell
      @MalcolmKingswell  Год назад

      It’s a good Garry idea but I just know it would fill with water because of the clay bed ……many thanks Malc

    As a teenager there used to be a brick factory near us in east Vancouver sadly now it’s high density housing but then what is t 😢😢. As I get older I remember little things like 1” tile doorways in businesses and tile factories which young people today are missing. Ok enough nostalgic memories great work Malc have a great week see you on the weekend 👍👍🇨🇦

    It is beautiful and sunny here in Oregon today. Got several yards of wood chips hauled and spread on my paths and it looks fantastic. Enjoying your update while I take a quick lunch break. Blueberries are fantastic and I’m happy for you to be thinking about putting some in! Don’t forget they love acid soil!

      @@MalcolmKingswell we had 3 blueberries in the ground for about 4 years and they didn’t really grow or have much fruit so we had a huge big tub and put all 3 together in there with ericacious compost and they are doing great now. That’s the only thing we have in a pot or have grown in a pot

  • @nineteenninetyfive
    @nineteenninetyfive Год назад +1

    Personally i find little bits of grass easier to deal with once they have grown a little bit. When they get into a little clump you can pull them easily.

    Hi malc it’s very hard to down size and declutter as you use so many bits and bobs for your projects. We save and collect all sorts just in case it’s useful🤣sometimes it is but not always. I am sure we could get rid of loads of stuff we won’t ever use. We can’t do anything at plot at moment but we do go to harvest and check it out. It will soon be go go go go so we enjoying the little rest👍🙋🏻

    I think you can get excited about bricks! Especially old ones, they can be so beautiful. Color, surface, and you can feel the effort that was put in to them, when they where made.
    💧Couldn't you just put a short hose on your IBC tank tap?

  • @jonathanharvey4879

    Malcolm would it be better to put the red bricks as the base and grey big ones on top to give less chance of wobble when placing tanks on top.

    Hi malc, wouldn't it be easier to dig a watering can size pit on the front of your ibc, maybe line it with bricks "end on" like pillars that way you could lower your watering can in when required .just a thought my friend
