Obviously Disney/Lucasfilms was right... The acolyte is masterclass in writing.

  • Show, don’t tell” is a fundamental principle in filmmaking and writing. It encourages creators to convey story elements through behavior, action, and visual metaphor, rather than relying on expository dialogue.
Clearly Disney/Lucasfilms understands we can't be shown things but instead require them to be told to us.

The force has indeed a"woke"en. It's beyond salvaging. The movies are made to check off boxes and push an agenda first, and then tack on a story ancillarily.
Movie recommendation, a 1977 Japanese horror action movie called House (Hausu). I believe it's on max. I want to marry the girl in the movie named Kung Fu. It's better than anything Kathlene K ever put out.

Kathleen Kennedy's comments about how storytelling is supposed to represent all people is a clear indicator she doesn't understand how storytelling works.
I do appreciate the new characters in star wars that tell us what they are doing as we watch them do it... "I am walking, I am an assassin who wants to assassinate you, I'm currently eating jub jub food from the fury cantina"... I really don't have to use any brain cells to watch what's going on because I'm being informed by the characters.
I now realize that John wick failed as an action movie because he should have been running around screaming "I am pulling my trigger on this gun, I am now reloading my gun, I am aiming for your head".
