Warning be sure to put some Loctite blue to each of the Philips fasteners holding the belt loop before heading out for the first time! Mine came loose from the factory and I lost one fastener with the second screw very loose while in the field on the first day out! Cheers, #SeattleRingHunter

Got my hands on one today from my local shop. It's a beautiful knife. Little on the bigger side for what I normally go for but surprisingly light for its size. Came amazingly sharp.

Picked up a folding Benchmade Adamas in CPM CruWear when it came out. Very impressed with the steel. Gets stupid sharp, holds a great edge, and was suprisingly easy to sharpen.

Thanks for the review! I am thinking about getting this one. I have that Saddle Mountain Skinner and it's a great knife, too. But the sheath is crap. See even in your video how there was a sliver of orange plastic that was stuck on the knife after you removed it from the sheath. I ended up getting an Armatus Carry sheath for my Saddle Mountain, and it is TONS better than the Benchmade factory garbage. So I'm hoping the sheath for the Anonimus is going to be better, because Armatus doesn't have a kydex sheath for it yet!

I like the Anonimus because it has a little more stabby point that the Bushcraft. It could be used in a combat role if needed.

Great looking knife. I’ve got 1 Benchmade fixed blade and a couple or their auto folders. They are great knives. I don’t use knives enough any more to justify buying new ones and my collection is already pretty extensive already. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like looking ant new items. Kinda like looking at a new truck.... I’d love to have one but just can’t justify the investment....

hate to say it, but I'm gladly sticking with the Bushcrafter

The bushcrafter has more "meat" on it for sure. It's a good choice

This is more of a table top comparison to other knives rather than a review. Get it outside man and let’s see what it can do. A table top comparison only serves to show off your knife collection rather than provide useful information to someone who may be interested in purchasing that particular knife. You say in the description that this is the knife to head into the sticks with, or that this is the knife if you are off the grid. We would never know that because all you did was spit out the specs that are available on any website and compare it to three other knives specs. All from the comfort and safety of your home.
Edit: I realize this comment makes me sound like a you know what which is entirely not my intention, but let’s call it what it is.

Am I the only person that remembers them destroying guns with their factory equipment?

If they got rid of that awful finger guard, I might consider it, what’s come over the design team at benchmade, they have some nice looking knives in their hunting range, even they are destroyed by the obligatory orange colour scheme. I wish they would find a designer of fixed blades that had a little class, most fixed blades at the moment wouldn’t be out of place in a gas station display. This is coming from an owner of 7 benchmade knives.

Every year it’s hit or miss with some models. When BM introduced the Bugout it was a winner and they hit it out of the ballpark. My guess on this knife is they’re aiming for function over aesthetics
