One of each please. Lol Awesome video man. I love pocket knives and fixed blades,,,especially ones this size. Or big ones. Or in between ones. Or fat ones. Or skinny ones....i just friggin love em
I haven't been up there in many many moons but White River knives is out of my little home town Fremont, MI (it's also 'famous' for Gerber baby food). They've got a few really cool knives, including that backpacker, I'd love to get my mits on some day.
Just picked up an m1 backpacker in black g10 today, it feels perfect in my hand. I also handled that Pro-tech SBR. Sweet little knife if you can find one. Solvang Knives had one but it was a bit pricey for me.
I carry aWINKLER belt knife , and a TOOR darter in Ranger Green! Fixed blade only They are both dangerously sharp , and I keep them that way! 4 November 2021 I just opened a knife that my wife ordered for me , and it is a TOOR field 2.0 and it is another EDC it is perfect. Now I have 2 knives made by TOOR . They are my favorite knives . Thank you TOOR !!!
I've got a Busse custom shop drop point in Elmax. I was lucky to get my ticket drawn for a raffle to buy it at Blade Show Atlanta about 6 years ago. A fellow who came over to see it told me to get a kydex sheath for it from a maker across the aisle. Glad I listened. He took the knife home and mailed it back within a month. Best kydex sheath I own. The knife is so good I still grin like an idiot every time I pull it out to use.
An option I enjoy is my Bestech Heidi Blacksmith #1 with micarta handles. It's petite for sure, but very well made and disappears in the back pocket. I keep it there with an UltiClip on the included Kydex sheath. I got mine for $90 at White Mountain Knives. They charge less to start and I also applied a 10% discount code.
That Creely Blades Mako looks very ergonomic friendly! Therfore it's a favorite. Also the Bradford Guardian 3 & ESEE Izula II are absolute classics ! I love my ESEE knives, plus they have the best warranty in the business, unmatched by *Any* other knife manufacturer.
I'm in love with that White River Sendero. I've wanted one for a while, but never seem to pull the trigger. My older White River came with a pretty bad kydex sheath too. I figured I just had bad luck, but after seeing this, I guess it's how they are.
@@Stassa23 Stass, one year later are you still loving the White River Sendero? Did you do the Paracord wrap with all the looping and swooping that thing looks like an ergonomic dream.. I would never change the Paracord for scales.
Nice blade choices man. Thanks for feeding my current knife addiction binge... This week has been fixies. A few of the White River options will probably be showing up at my door some time soon...
I'm with you on that Jerry Fisk it's a great looking knife. On another note I broke off the tip of my Patriot (1/16") sent back to L.T.Wright and asked if they could regrind it and said I didn't mind if it's a little shorter. To my surprise they sent me a new one at no charge. Now that's a warranty.
Thanks for pointing out that the Guardian3 comes in 3V! I’ve carried an Izula daily for over a year, but as much as I love it I just get too disappointed with how poorly it sliced. I was eyeing the Guardian3, but I was worried that it wouldn’t tolerate the kind of abuse that 1095 can. The 3V model totally settles that debate for me!
Agreed, I'm in a similar situation. I love the izula for a hard use knife, but It's not the best performing for lighter edc tasks. I'm looking at a guardian 3 in m390, heard the edge retention was better and the profile of the knife makes it a lot slicier
Beater or slicer in most cases u need to take your pick. I usually carry a nice thin pocket knive for slicing the izula can take a beating. If u break it esse replace it. The izula u can prob sharpen in nature for 3v or m390 u will need to invest in tools to keep it sharp I like having both
I have a bunch of Bradford guardians in Magnacut and have been super happy with there performance but I have been really thinking about a White River though. They are made about 60 miles from my house so I want to support my neighbors.
White River has some really incredible looking knives. I try not to look at them too often though due to the price and the fact that I would be likely to find one I can’t live without. Bought a used Bench Made Hidden Canyon Hunter a while back (almost 2 years ago now). I've been really pleased with it. It has been my favorite overall fixed blade knife that I’ve owned, which probably has a lot to do with the compact size that doesn’t feel out of place to carry on a daily basis. Great fit in my hand, very sturdy construction, and it all but disappears when I carry it on my belt. I dont think the sheath is stock but it has a very snug retention and the scout carry position works really well for the knife. Still haven’t found my ideal full sized fixed blade knife yet. Not in a hurry though as I wouldn’t end up getting as much use out of it. I would likely only carry something full sized when in the woods/mountains where the utility of a full sized blade would be really useful and practical. Im really beginning to favor compact fixed blade knives over my usual Spyderco Delica. Speaking of Spyderco they have a newish compact fixed blade knife that Ive been checking out. Its on the affordable end of the spectrum and pretty thin through the handle, so convenient to carry but not a workhorse by any means.
Hinderer knives just seems like a spell or something. They just seem meh but people pay anything for them. I think they just put a rumor out there that people think they're cool and it worked.I just don't see it personally. I'd go for that ferrum forge if they were both the same price. All the other knives are badass! Thanks for the awesome vid

The last one SP Sasquatch and the Creeley Mako seem tight! Pride in making them better and doing as much as possible. Other knives in this video I feel you could say the same about. The Bradford 3.5 is superior to the 3 in the neutrality of the grip. I liked the Jackdaw but felt since it isn't for puncture tasks and is a dedicated slicer it needed a thumb ramp. Interesting selection.

Yeah it’s awesome, that sucks you can’t carry fixed blades. Can you carry a folder ?
@@Stassa23 Sorry to keep bugging you. I am going to buy a Sendero and I started looking at websites and learned there is a Sendero 'Bush' knife and a Sendero 'Pack' knife. The Bush Knife has a 3.6-inch blade and the Pack knife is 3.25 inches. Which one did you use in your video? Thanks again.
Some beautiful knives here, but one thing I’ve never understood is the loud colors on some of these high dollar knives. Always gives them a $10 gas station knife look IMO. Maybe someone can explain the appeal?
You really should check out Malanika EDC/Neckknife. Sick in Cruwear
I’ll definitely check it out thanks for the info 👍🏻
Since you like the clever style fixed blades, please check out the OffGrid Knives Hoglet. Its an EXCELLENT EDC at a really great price. Well worth $59. Lifetime warranty. Amazing fit n finish cryo d2. Rare these days to get quality at a FAIR n affordable price. Just a heads up. Stay safe✌
I wish you would show these knives with a measurement scale to give us an actual idea of the size of these knives.
