I know what you mean, with the finished minis on your desk, I have a small ikea display unit on my wall above my desk which only holds about fifty minis but I look at it each time I go to sit down and it inspires me to want more finished minis. Great video as always Andy, keep up the good work.

Love it. I'm also loving the strong Middenheim theme to the Empire release, those Tuetegan Guard have always been faves of mine and I think I'll finally do the army of my dream. State Troops, Knights of the White Wolf, Wolf Priest of Ullric and the TG, plus some for of war machines.
It's frustrating that Old World/Warhammer Fantasy Battle does not attract views like 40K. I mean, it was the primary setting. Majorkill is the same way, he is really into WFB but he does nothing but 40K now because of views.

Super excited about seeing the empire schemes. Personally I like the idea of a Nuln scheme but I’m afraid it would be too similar to the new Bretonnian scheme. Do you think you could find away of doing it but keeping it from looking the same?
Yeah it’s just nice to enjoy painting them instead of trying to work out every tiny detail on the new models by stopping to look at pictures every few minutes!
if you use cadian fleshtone before the guileman flesh , you will get a much more toned result ...give it a try on a mini not for the youtube and see if you like it
I know you don't keep bits, but didn´t you have an old helmet lying around to replace the bald head if you don't like it? Btw, one the one hand I think this teaches the value of keeping as many bits as feasible, but on the other hand, I do like your 'lean' approach of just building a model one way and just throwing everything else away and just sticking with your choices.
I hate this general model, I've hated it for more than a decade. It's misproportioned, the armor is not imposing at all, and it's nonsensical on top of that... and the poses you can achieve are very underwhelming.

The General kit is one of the best GW has ever made. Simple but still with lots of options. I really hope they make more like it for other races.

Yeah, I love the look of the newer GW models, but there’s a lot to like about painting the older, less detailed models.

I don't know. You don't see very many models on Horseback with a Warhammer. At least not that I've ever seen.
