- Pittsburgh Steelers rumors have been ramped up to 11 ever since a report surfaced yesterday that Steelers GM Omar Khan was ‘closing in’ on a ‘significant playmaker’ that then led to Steelers trade rumors surrounding big-names wide receivers such as Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, Cortland Sutton, and now DK Metcalf. I really hope the Steelers don’t do what many teams do. Which is to give up too much and overpay for a diva receiver. It’s the same old story and will yield nothing but headaches. Just because a guy was successful in an advanced offensive scheme like at San Francisco with many high powered weapons, doesn’t mean you will get the same results in a run first, power scheme. Then the receiver will be unhappy and complain, causing discord and division on the team.
The Steelers have had the problem with AB, JOHNSON etc. Please, not again.

DK - Seattle just traded for a QB, is a great number one on a team friendly contract, is happy with the Seahawks, will be a corner stone for a long time in the new McDonald era. ❌
AJ Brown and Dvonta Smith - both just signed large contact with the eagles ❌ ❌
JJ - Vikings traded up to JJ McCarthy, is a good leader on the team and will be a great asset to help develop McCarthy, is also happy with the Vikings. ❌
Adams - Raiders didn’t draft a QB but will see what AOC can do in a full season. Seems happy with team and the raiders a trending in a positive direction. Will also be a great asset to develop AOC ❌
Sutton - broncos drafted nix and want to give him as much help as possible, could also be a good mentor to Troy Franklin. ❌
Ayiuk - is a rising star, has developed a special bond with Purdy. Currently in contract negotiations and showed up to mini camp❌
Debo - niners drafted a wr in the first round, Niners can’t afford to keep Debo, Ayiuk and Purdy. Debo is not only past his prime, can’t stay healthy and is worse that Ayiuk. ✅.

Broncos just drafted 2WR, one of them was Bo Nix favorite college - target in Oregon, just restructured Tim Patrick to be cheap, just signed Josh Reynolds with over 4Million guaranteed to a 2 year contract and have also Probowl returner Marvin Mims on cheap WR rookie contract. Courtland Sutton is by far their priciest WR and makes no sense on their roster in this rebuild situation. They will trade or release him post 06-01. Courtland makes a lot of sense for the Steelers, a 3rd day pick should make the trade...
