- Mom sees Shadow flying. He circles the nest and he has a stick!
As Shadow circles, mom tracks him. He comes to the nest and immediately places the stick on moms back, dragging it before letting go LOL Shadow then moves sticks, steps on moms back a few times, nudges her side with his foot all while mom continually whines. She finally gives in and lets Shadow take over! Too funny, he is one eagle that knows what he wants and how to get it!

Wow, Shadow still has dark feathers on his head and tail feathers! He was rather young, and married an older woman. hehe!

My first graders watch "our" eagles everyday! They were super upset when the crow was bothering them. We were also very sad to see so much snow on them. These two eagles show so much love for each other.
OMG-this is too funny. Shadow, the young stud, is always bringing a new stick, Home Decor 101. You can just see Mrs BB saying, ‘what are you doing?’ He looks like he’ll be an attentive first time daddy!!
Papa has been denied access long enough and Mama having trouble letting go ... lol

Aaaww...so fun to watch this pair! Shadow is way too funny! He just wants to be the Cool Big Daddy but he's just a little bit awkward and fumbling! I give him an A+ for his efforts! Mama Eagle is just talking away to him and but he's not listening! Reminds me of us humans, we're a little like that too! Lol!
This is my second visit to this wonderful cam site. These two eagles are real characters. I'm hoping, like other viewers, a successful clutch is hatched. Thank you Big Bear, CA.

these 2 just crack me up. i was worried about him when he wouldn't share food with her a couple weeks ago but now he wants to be super dad and sit on the eggs all the time. and she just whines and whines like, get out of here man-this is my job. i don't know who to feel more bad for. lol

I loved him. he'll try anything to get her out of the nest.so he can get some Daddy times! Did you guys see that he gave her some Back massage.
That's exactly right. It was quite obvious he was irritating her, and that eventually it had the intended effect! I love the teamwork with the eagles.

@@toxicsuperiorgames603 Gabrielle is of another nest called the Redding eagles. Her mate is Samson.
The male wants to seat and the female wants to stay a little longer. They have such a strong instint to seat on tops of the eggs.

I agree. Haven't seen this one return with too many fish. The ex-husband was always returning with a fish last year.

I love the coloring on his head & tail. How old are they? Just found this site on Facebook. Where is this nest located? Will be watching more often.
This nest is in beautiful Big Bear California...and these two are the cutest couple out there of any of the eagle nest live cams around the country. Im happy u are enjoying. The male with streaks on head is a young sub adult male...first time dad...mom is much older and has raised other eaglets at this nest for a few seasons now.
Bald Eagles don't acquire the solid white head/tail they're famous for until after 4-5 years. Before that, they go through various stages of "subadult" plumage. So these two are at least four or five years old. Maybe I'll come across their precise ages, if the numbers are indeed known, somewhere in this comment section ☺️
I'm one of those types that gets more excited when I see a Kentucky Warbler on territory (just one small example 🐣) than I do when I see an eagle, but I'm straight-up addicted to watching these eagle cams and owl cams during quarantine!

Nowadays fathers are going to job whole day and mothers are going as well but children, some of them alone and some of them are in the refuge of mad.....
Children can not understand parents because of not getting enough time from them in childhood and parents as well, that's why mostly children disobey their parents and after marriage they put their parents in old houses....
But in Muslim societies however they are, at least there are not the numbers of old houses as we see in societies of other religions.....
