Erratum on the engine specs! The 2023 Honda BR-V makes 119 horsepower and 145 Newton meters of torque mated to a CVT for the S CV, V CVT, and VX CVT while the S MT is paired to a six-speed manual transmission.

RUclips used to have BRV 2023 release in Malaysia..i think this one looks better. The only reason i picked this over Okavango before is because my husband is a Honda Fanatic. Hahahaha you guys might have used the same format for the engine figures from the Xpander since it was stated in the vid that it has 103hp and 141Nm and with 4AT, definitely not BRV figures.
Great video nonetheless, summarizes all the things all of us need to know about the new one especially the highlights. Very promising indeed and one of the segment's best.
.. one of simply because it isn't yet the best IMHO. I really hate HCPI's habit of discriminating base manual variants with either steelies or a bare multimedia system(for the City) despite being the very same variant with the base CVT variants. Quite a bummer too that none of the variants come with telescopic steering. Drivers, iykwim, are always particular with reach adjustment and knowing how enthusiasts usually are considering Honda first more than other brands, that is a huge bummer.
Still impressive nonetheless, the only vehicle in the segment with adaptive cruise control that comes with Honda Sensing for the VX just to name one. Looking forward for a comparo soon with the Veloz, Stargazer and probably, when the new Xpander Cross comes out sometime in the future 🤔

I would just like to know, my driver information interface doesn’t look like this one , how to I check the fuel range in km ( how many km I have left to drive on my fuel tank) .so many confusing numbers on the screen

I think the VX variant with honda sensing is quite on the expensive side in terms of its priicing. in my opinion, honda should have included the honda sensing to the rest of the lineup to make it competitive. If i will go for the looks with advance driving assist aid I think the Toyota Veloz is a strong option which also has its toyota safety sense with more premium interior feel. Another cheaper option with almost same engine power and ofcourse with driver's assist aid which was also released this year is the hyundai stargazer. Shame coz i looked forward to this new brv release and I must say, I think its a miss

This was my first choice before, but upon checking tons of reviews just got bored of the looks and 3rd row seems small while 2nd row can barely fit three. Xpander won it for me plus its 200k cheaper with electronic parking break and auto hold, I'll just use the extra money for missing features.. But kudos for honda for the safety and engine.. hoping to get a comparo caco lets get it done 🙂
