I would never buy a car with only 2 air bags for multiple passengers unless your only gonna drive with just 2 people. Just pay extra for the VX and get 6 air bags for safety.

I paid P10k reservation for that premium Opal white silver pearl 2 weeks ago..and now i am more excited after watching this. RUclips used to have BRV 2023 release in Malaysia..i think this one looks better.The only reason i picked this over Okavango before is because my husband is a Honda Fanatic. I thought okavango looked more like a luxury car but seeing the color now as opposed to plain white of Okavango, this looks sleak ..and not too much plasticky anymore in front ...This has both safety and beauty now. I am glad it won't end up in disappointment.
U have chosen the right one.. BRV is so much great. Hinding hindi ka ipapahiya sa ahonan. Tama sinabi ni caco. Brv has the most powerful engine on its class which is the 7 seater class. Never trust cars from china. Good choice yn si honda.

We had nissan exterra , a Ford SUV , and Supra before in US, now in pinas a Volvo , a toyota Scion XB and Vios and a 4x4 cherry Colorado Tracker Pro , still he likes Honda the most.. he can fix it by himself too and he isn't comfortable with hybrid Okavango engine. .

With that price for the top of the line variant, I would expect it to have telescopic steering wheel, disc brakes in rear, and the more upscale ventilation controls found in the HRV and Civic.
Even without all that, BRV still have the best driving position and the best brake than competitors ~ For the air vent, yeah, we need the Civic's style, not this outdated one.

The design got into a minimalist one but much bigger looking than the previous model. It is somehow pricey for its look actually that's why for me I'll still go to the new Xpander Cross or the new Innova Zenix hybrid hoping soon will highlight the road.

Bought my 2017 BRV at 965k net of discounts plus some freebies, with its price now of 1.150M, this is reasonable. Ang issue ko lang talaga, if 7 na sakay i medyo hirap na emgine though kaya naman. Mostly city and solo driving lang naman, but still parang kulang pag need mo. Instead, bought a 2nd hand everest ambiente AT 2017 with low mileage of 33k, as in parang bago pa, in and out. Amoy bago pa, ride is good and most especially power is there when i need it. Surprisingly parang brv din lang idrive gaan ng manibela. With an additional 180k after selling my brv, sobrang sulit and satisfied with my buy. Still Ganda ng new BRV, kung 2.0 liter ito, sarap sana tapos 1.25M lang ang S variant. pwede na sana.

Veloz? It does not even get near with what xpander offers. Try to watch the uphill challenge of the indonesian guys who reviewed the expander, veloz, and ertiga. Veloz wasn't able to continue uphill after stopping in the middle.
Veloz might be a reliable car in terms of longevity, but for power, it's not really that good. But I'd still choose veloz over xpander for some reason.

The front design is sooo nice and looks damn aggressive, but the back :( (I expected it to be somehow similar to CRV's rear lol or to visualize it as something similar to the Avanza/Veloz rear design) hehe, just my opinion. Thanks!

1- I think the power output is wrong, it should be 121 hp. 2- I prefer SOHC engines, as they have very helpful low-down torque. 3- that new BRV looks great!

Hahahaha you guys might have used the same format for the engine figures from the Xpander since it was stated in the vid that it has 103hp and 141Nm and with 4AT, definitely not BRV figures. Great video nonetheless, summarizes all the things all of us need to know about the new one especially the highlights. Very promising indeed and one of the segment's best. .. one of simply because it isn't yet the best IMHO. I really hate HCPI's habit of discriminating base manual variants with either steelies or a bare multimedia system(for the City) despite being the very same variant with the base CVT variants. Quite a bummer too that none of the variants come with telescopic steering. Drivers, iykwim, are always particular with reach adjustment and knowing how enthusiasts usually are considering Honda first more than other brands, that is a huge bummer. Still impressive nonetheless, the only vehicle in the segment with adaptive cruise control that comes with Honda Sensing for the VX just to name one. Looking forward for a comparo soon with the Veloz, Stargazer and probably, when the new Xpander Cross comes out sometime in the future 🤔

I would just like to know, my driver information interface doesn’t look like this one , how to I check the fuel range in km ( how many km I have left to drive on my fuel tank) .so many confusing numbers on the screen

I think the VX variant with honda sensing is quite on the expensive side in terms of its priicing. in my opinion, honda should have included the honda sensing to the rest of the lineup to make it competitive. If i will go for the looks with advance driving assist aid I think the Toyota Veloz is a strong option which also has its toyota safety sense with more premium interior feel. Another cheaper option with almost same engine power and ofcourse with driver's assist aid which was also released this year is the hyundai stargazer. Shame coz i looked forward to this new brv release and I must say, I think its a miss

This was my first choice before, but upon checking tons of reviews just got bored of the looks and 3rd row seems small while 2nd row can barely fit three. Xpander won it for me plus its 200k cheaper with electronic parking break and auto hold, I'll just use the extra money for missing features.. But kudos for honda for the safety and engine.. hoping to get a comparo caco lets get it done 🙂
I still have a couple of days left to get the 2023 Xpander Cross (which is actually is just waiting for me to pick it up in the Mitsu warehouse). But before I pay my hard earned money, I"m still open for options.

Xpander.. Tried and tested. Their demo did the talking. Very slick inside out. Power difference is too little to make a considerable difference. 😉

But this BR-V is a great option for budget goers out there.

You just have to choose which is better and suites your needs, BR-V VX (Php 1,390,000) or the HR-V S (Php 1,250,000) or Civic S Turbo (Php 1,368,000).

Please do a comparo of VX BR-V and the Hyundai Stargazer GLS Premium. Both are have almost identical when it comes to features in my opinion.

In Iloilo, the MSRP for the 2023 BRV VX is P1,445,000 + P20,000 for opal. The dealership charges their customers FREIGHT AND HANDLING: P55,000.00

I think the VX variant with honda sensing is quite on the expensive side in terms of its priicing. in my opinion, honda should have included the honda sensing to the rest of the lineup to make it competitive. If i will go for the looks with advance driving assist aid I think the Toyota Veloz is a strong option which also has its toyota safety sense with more premium interior feel. Another cheaper option with almost same engine power and ofcourse with driver's assist aid which was also released this year is the hyundai stargazer. Shame coz i looked forward to this new brv release and I must say, I think its a miss

the veloz engine is very disappointing in a test drive done in Indonesia at full capacity.
Honda cars are always priced higher.
If you looking for the build quality and durability, Veloz, Xpander are better.

This was my first choice before, but upon checking tons of reviews just got bored of the looks and 3rd row seems small while 2nd row can barely fit three. Xpander won it for me plus its 200k cheaper with electronic parking break and auto hold, I'll just use the extra money for missing features.. But kudos for honda for the safety and engine.. hoping to get a comparo caco lets get it done 🙂

I still have a couple of days left to get the 2023 Xpander Cross (which is actually is just waiting for me to pick it up in the Mitsu warehouse). But before I pay my hard earned money, I"m still open for options.

First impression- pricey! Id have to wait for a proper review - and see its advantage and disadvantage in terms of fuel efficiency, the what is and what’s not in the cockpit and of course, driving experience of caco. Gee, i love that guy.

Bitin yung interiors ng Brv. Parang taob agad sa Veloz. Goodchoice Kicks dahil sa hybrid at exemption aa coding. Hrv kung gusto mo ng mas premium interior at sensing

Honda really learned from the Ertiga and the XL7 about window sizes. They forgot about the extended door opening though...... and the price! WTH!

Before launching it in India please make its interior more minimalists discarding all creses and curves also projected AC vends etc. Make it subdued or concealed
