      hip hop clubs are the no. 1 spot in my experience. look for hip hop clubs in whatever city you are in. a lot of Japanese people think westerners are into hip hop so they go there to hunt. another location are british or irish style pubs like the chain "HUB", again, because they think that is what we like. But you gotta go late like 1 am. Dont go there for after work drinks or whatever. Another one which is choke full of gaijin hunters are the "language exchange" meetups. Get the meetup app or go to the site and look them up in your city. Seriously a lot of women are there to hunt foreigners. Usually when I went there I mingled with some ladies and then kind of focus on one that seems most interested. Later some people go home, some proceed to go to a bar or club. Tell her you will join the group going to the club and ask her to come. If she is into you she will join. Well, alcohol helps. You have a high chance of ending up in bed with that chick the same night. These 3 things worked for me in multiple cities such as Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Kanazawa, Fukuoka and Kitakyushu. Haven't been to the north yet but I assume it works everywhere.

    I don't have anything against LBH either, but... they should know there's a downside, too. I've witnessed some of these guys who marry the Japanese girlfriend and it becomes apparent after years of misery that she was a crazy person which is why she went for the gaijin. Then they divorce but she's got his kid or kids and his house. Then she moves on to find another foreigner to be with. With gaijin hunters it's often not much better because even though she may not be crazy, she may not be that into him, either. If it's desperation because she can't find a Japanese guy, she doesn't care about your personality or your looks while she's desperate but after being together for years, there's nothing there for her to stay interested either.

      It's obvious she made this video mad. It's very common for these western women to go to Japan and feel infuriated and undesirable because both Japanese men AND foreigner men have better options in the Japanese women. Like leagues better. For the first time in their life they realize they might be low quality and lack femininity in terms of dating. So she has to go online and shame men she call losers for dating Japanese women. Because apparently Japanese women aren't on the same standard as western women so you must be a loser for dating them :)

I could say all these women havent fit into Japanese society and dont have boyfriends so they are escaping to overseas. Any great looking Japanese women arent going overseas on a working holiday or are trying to meet foreigners as Japanese guys have been giving them a lot of attention since a young age so thry dont need to look elsewhere.

    Some perspectives from someone who lived there in the early 90's. I was not a Sheldon but I was no lady killer but pretty much everyone did well back then. One day a guy who was a stud back in the US came to me and told me he'd been in Japan for 2 months and had not gotten laid. I told him he just needed to adjust to the girls tastes here. He made himself look more clean-cut, got some nice clothes, and eventually figured out what the girls wanted to hear. Then he just slayed it. One night I saw him in a bar and he told me he just completed a hat-trick. Three girls in one day. So a lot of it is finding out what they want and giving it to them.
    Back then there weren't that many gaijin hunters and it was just as hard to get the "non-gaijin hunter girls". But occassionally you'd see a total LBH with a gorgeous "regular" Japanese girl. Why? Because he was an early Japanese Otaku and he picked up Japanese language when none of the gaijin could speak. He integrated himself into Japanese environments and was able to get regular girls. My japanese was not that good but I was really jealous of him and the other guys who I saw who could do that. Probably not possible today.
    Last LBH goes both ways. I've found that the Japanese girls who come to the States often have some type of issue that prevented them from finding a "good" guy in Japan and had some issues/baggage. It's not just with Japan. It's anywhere. Generally if you are successful in your country, you are not going to leave. That's why a lot of, not all, people who live in foreign countries and are long-timers, generally are LBHs or have some issues that people back home pick up on quickly but people in the new countries don't.

    • @spotzidog5110
      @spotzidog5110 4 месяца назад +3

      Great perspectives from back in the day and particularly about integrating goes a long way, I think that is still true if you understand some of the culture and language it will help alot when added with your foreign appeal. Have you been back recently? I studied there in mid 2010s and I wouldnt say they were falling on every sheldon's lap unequivocally, but certainly it was much easier than in their home country for the most part. And speaking a little Japanese goes a hell of a long way. Foreigners are much more prevalent now so makes sense why they do not go for every LBH who speaks a bit of Japanese, doesnt hurt to have a bit of basic hygiene and not walk around in anime tshirts, but honestly an average guy not from the Far East still stands out alot in Japan and that goes a long way, extra points if they are White or raised in a Western country.
      I raised this with another OG from around your time on twitter that it's still fairly easy to pick up here, and for some reason he threw his toys out the pram and said I must be hanging around 4s or prostitutes 😂 I dont get the saltiness from some people who idealise the past. Reminds me of the foreigners here who get weird and dont want to be around other foreigners, because they want to be the special one in the group. So sad

    I have read many stories about that in Quora where people invested their lives and money and out of sudden the Japanese woman suddenly disappeared.
    like you don't actually know who you dealing with, she can be cool for a few months then the depression will raise on the surface and you need the guts to cut that off or be simp and try to fix her.
    I am sure if people read about the stories from people lived the experience from 80 and 90 they will be shocked. and you can detect the impact of that relationship on their kids. half and they sometimes call themselves not belonging to anywhere, whenever they go they feel ther are not being accepted.

    For real though, 'successful with Japanese women' is such a sweeping statement. There are lots of gaijin hunters sure, but ultimately communication is the foundation of any relationship and people will always prefer people who they can really speak their mind with, so language knowledge plays the biggest role alongside personality, charm, etc. that applies when speaking to the opposite sex in your own country too. LBH is definitely a pretty new thing, very much online terminology seeping into the real world. Sure there are guys who get more 'play' abroad or in Japan specifically but that's usually not due to 'sincere' reasons like you say. It's not necessarily a bad thing but it is what it is.

    I lived in Japan in the '90s and apparently it hasn't changed. Foreign women complain that the foreign guys are having such great success with girls. And it's very angry jealousy. And it's overblown. Guys, it's not that easy, maybe in Tokyo.
    Foreign girls are used to guys hitting on them at least once a day back home, They have never had to knock on the door. Probably their first dating experience in Japan will be another Foreigner.
    But let's get it straight. This girl sees a western guy with a Japanese girl and it makes her angry, whether that guy is good looking or not. Because she is on the shelf, and can t pull a foreign guy either.
    It's actually not some great disappointment when two foreigners meet up in Japan because they've already got some shared background and a shared interests. So don't think I'm crapping on that.
    But just know you will find some angry and desperate foreign women.

Now, what should I think about this? To me, she is such a pretty girl, and I’ve been crushing her since I got into the classroom for the first time. It’s also obvious from her behaviour and interactions that she wants to become more “American”, she has been living in America for 7 months now. (From my experience, Japanese people are pretty much always very adaptable here and I have made so many friends from Japan also, I respect their culture and they know that). I don’t know if she likes the culture or not though.
    Anyway I’m so scared she is somehow strange or not normal, but so far I have always gotten a really good vibe and feeling from her, although I can maybe see some alarming signs, but no one is perfect right?
    Please man, can you give me any advice how to approach this situation? I don’t know what to really think about it. Thank you and I appreciate as always you legend!!! Be well!

      @@yungjamez312 You know, the thing is, I’m involved with the Japanese community here at school, I’m very respectful, polite and kind person in nature, I don’t pretend anything. I treat everyone the same way. That’s why I like to interact and be friends with them, and I feel they like me also compare to others, somehow this works for me. If this would be possible for me in Japan in the middle of Japanese culture and society… well that’s the other question, but here in America, I’ve been able to make some really good friends with Japanese people. And then somehow naturally she crossed my way - my question was maybe more related to what should I expect, is she this type of hunter of foreign men or something else? That would be my main question, thanks man! I really appreciate your help!🙏🏼

    I would rather be fetishized in Japan,
    Than worry if the girl in the states is a man.
    In my opinion LBH is no longer a LBH. If an LBH is considered a loser because he couldn't get a girl back in the states that changes. I agree with your Sheldon analogy, but if a guy gets comfortable around a woman his mindset will change. Also, he will not be socially awkward around a woman back home with the same beauty or who is average compared to the one he is with. Getting that experience and knowing women out there actually find you attractive gives you a big confidence boost, even if he gets rejected. This has been talked about a lot and several best selling books mentioned this. Jordan Peterson mentioned this in his lecture about preselection and having an abundance mindset.

    Why we have to define everything? Why so judgemental? Here in Italy in you are not good looking, tall, with money and popular you will very probably struggle with women. You will have limited choice, lot of stress/drama, cheating, manipulation. This doesn't mean that you are a "loser", you are just not winning the genetic lottery or born in a rich family. That's all. Please stop judging people like that.

    I guess I'm what you would consider an LBH back in America, and while I'm definitely not successful like the woman in the video was talking about (roster of hundreds of women), I've definitely had more dates and hookups here in Japan in one year than I did in 15 years back in America. I'm 40 though, so that probably affects my dating pool, and a lot of times the women I meet are more looking for serious relationships leading to marriage (because they are pushing 40 or in their 40s already) rather than hookups, but the younger women (18-29) and older women (50+) I've met seem more open to just having sex on the first date if both of us are interested and the date went well. But having to compete with yungjamez doesn't help my odds either lol. But I've also seen foreign men that are like fat, short, brown, old, etc., but still have a cute, young girlfriend and I don't understand how those guys get those kind of girls. I don't consider myself attractive (but I do have blue eyes and am white), but sometimes I'm just dumbfounded how those guys can get the type of girl I want but I can't.

      Isn't it a bit like the word "Jap" used to be. In the past most people didn't care about, even japanese people since it was innocent enough (just short ror japanese). Then it was considered more and more rude, until the only people who'd use it were people TRYING to offend. So nowadays you'd get in big trouble if you called someone a "Jap" in america because using such an outdated word signals to other people you're being offensive on purpose.
      Same thing is happening to "Gaijin". Most people don't mind but the word does have negative cronotations and is being slowly "phased out". I personally don't care about it in real life, most ppl I know take it as a meme word. But you definitely don't hear it on TV anymore and if someone did use it on TV it must be on purpose. Afterall they could have used a neutral word but CHOSE the one with negative cronotations. They're throwing shade & I could see how that might get some ppl offended

    • @connor8290
      @connor8290 4 месяца назад +1

      @@sblbb929 Japanese people generally aren’t worried about the word jap but that word is generally associated with the war. You could argue that because of that association, they have the right to be offended.
      The word gaijin on the other hand, is only offensive because many westerners want to be victims. It has no connection to the war, no connection to slavery. It’s just a shorted less formal version of a word. You could sympathise with those people trying to make a problem out of nothing, or you could cause less pain for everyone involved and tell people not to worry over nothing. Because that’s what it is, nothing. Japanese people wouldn’t use it on TV because they are incredibly polite and would generally choose to use more formal words. When its used anywhere else aside from TV, nobody cares except for people (probably Americans) with dyed hair on Twitter. It’s not used in a hateful way most of the time and if it is used in a hateful way, it’s bad (just like every other word in dictionary). People who speak no Japanese are offended by the word because someone else told them to be (madness). You’re only causing people pain by telling them to “look out for this slur about you”. Then they hear the word and get mad when it wasn’t even used negatively.
      Getting offended by a word like that is a sure way to know that your life is very privileged. There is no benefit to getting mad about it or empathising with those people who are mad over it because it causing pain for no reason and makes cultural relations slightly worse over something silly imo. Thoughts?
