I give Serena grace solely based on the fact it’s very CLEAR the producers have not shown us the extent to her and Kordell’s relationship. Now Serena is the villain and Kordell is “weak.” Producers never showed them exchanging rings, their intimate moments, and her explaining her trauma to him… this is why everyone feels as if Serena is playing Kordell and he’s weak, meanwhile it’s clear these two built something stronger than we’ve seen.
Also, constantly bringing up the slow burner stage is so tiring. Kordell has repeatedly said he didn’t have a problem with it yet people are still hating her for it. I know Serena was a lot these last few episodes, but so has Liv and Leah sooo..
I give Serena a lot of grace because everyone in the villa was feeding her misinformation and it inevitably fueled her fire even more
I’m sorry, I couldn’t focus on what Kendall was saying to Serena because he 1. Continually backed her in a corner talking to her way too close while she kept trying to step back 2. followed her 3. ended by hugging her in a way that she couldn’t move 🚩🚩🚩Kendall is also playing all sides and playing to win.

Kendall is friends with Kordell. He is nice to Serena. There's a difference. He's nice to everyone (he's in sales) so he's literally going to be friendly to everyone, but ultimately he's all about supporting his guys. Kordell is the universal "little brother" to the islanders and the audience this year. He's looking out for him. He doesn't have to go around being outright mean to Serena to be able to tell Kordell he doesn't think she's right for him.

They need to expose he only dropped Daniela because he heard Kaylor yelling and yes that information alone gives pass around which is also how it felt with Leah/Connor as well because yall saying you're best friends and sharing girls is weird af.

I dont think we’re missing much except more of Serena working an angle. What we do see is her flip flopping every second and never giving him an ounce of respect since shes been there. Ok. In my opinion this episode is a great example of how this is not totally real. We saw Kaylor crying most of the time and then angry after seeing the video. We saw Serena really angry, walking, walking and walking that I honestly thought she would keep on going and was going to walk straight into the ocean!😂😂😂 Then we see Kaylor telling Liv they should say hi and welcome the new girls?!!! I mean, Liv resisted the idea first, but then she also agreed and went with Kaylor to welcome them! Liv out of everyone, did not even influence her closest friend in the villa to question things and agreed with how Kaylor reacted?! Where is all the hostility like the type, they showed Andrea? This just shows that this show is at the phase in which everyone is going to start putting friendships aside and make winning the game their priority.
Kaylor: How can she believe Aaron?! That man didn’t even make eye contact most of the time he was talking to her and even less showed any emotion, typical of someone who is profoundly sorry for what he did.! I completely agree with those that think that Kaylor, at least in regards to romantic relationships she lives in a fairytale reality, she herself, created. So as long as she has her Prince Charming by her side, making love and sweet talking her, she is willing to shut her eyes and ignore things such as him cheating on her. I mean, realistically, how can you believe Rob’s version of the story if he is Aaron’s best friend in the Villa? Even worse, how can you believe what the woman he cheated on you with, who is with his best friend now, said about what happened between them?! Well, that’s who Keller is, I guess.
Serena and Kordell: This situation between Serena and Kordell shows how much Kordell is really unexperienced in terms of Romantic relationships. He basically gets involved with a girl and lets her take total control of the relationship! She is the one that sets the rules, decides what’s right and what’s wrong, whose feelings are the priority, etc. and he does not say anything when he should, lets the situation escalate to eventually leads into problems. We saw it with Serena and then with Daia! If he really prefers Serena over Daia, as he told Serena,why didn’t he let Daia know? Another sign of being unexperienced with this is that is unable to speak up and actually argue in his own defense. Everyone, including Serena, knows that Kordell got really hurt, humiliated, by her and that played a major part in his decision in getting involved with Daia. He had doubts about her because of how she treated him! With the way Serena treated their relationship like a joke,even without the dance episode if I was Kordell, I too would think that Serena would pick someone else. I mean, one day she seemed to really like him and the next did not. It is unbelievably selfish, the way she is acting, totally ignoring his feelings and how much she hurt him! As for Daia, she does not only Kordell for herself but she also wants to stir the pot and create disagreement and mistrust among the islanders. And that exactly what she did by telling Serena that the boys were cheering on Kordell to explore a connection with her. I honestly understand why the boys did it. They did it due to being sick and tired of seeing him being humiliated and used by Serena.
JaNa: Why is JaNa frustrated? Well, I honestly that she went into the villa in search of “specific” type of man, whom she is having difficulty finding in reality. Remember, in her introduction, JaNa said that she looking for a “husband.” In addition to specific physical traits, this translates into things such as “ guys who are mature, who already want to settle and give stability.” That’s why she did not want even Jacobi. Frankly, I do not think JaNa likes Kenny as much as she says. I think she got tired of guys putting zero effort into building a connection with her and went for Kenny because by the way he dresses as if “he is going to either work or church’ everyday”gave her a sense of “ seriousness,” “maturity” and calmness” necessary for a relationship to stay strong. And at this stage of the game, why give up, right?! Maybe Harrison will be the one!Kenny
on the other hand, never felt the same. All he did in this episode was make sad faces and crying sounds, pretending he was upset and crying.He definitely learned a lot watching Rob!😂😂😂
Kendall and Nicole: Is it me or Kendall and Nicole looked way too happy seeing all the breakups around them. I mean, the way they looked at each and how Kendall motivated the other boys to explore connections with the Casa Amor girls, tells me they probably had a plan to sabotage the strong connections the other couples had! Nicole did not have to do anything but Kendall did and certainly executed it very well, if that’s the case!

It's so refreshing to see someone actually be reasonable about this Kordell situation. Online everyone is rooting for Serena destroying him and acting like he's her husband and he went and had sex and just threw their 20 year relationship away.
It's ridiculous. For three damn weeks she showed him in every way possible that she was not attracted to him like that. She pushed and pulled, she dropped him on multiple occasions.
Then in the last 3 days before casa she gives him some reciprocal attention and he's supposed to have full faith in this relationship off of that?

It's about the boundaries and expectations between the two of them. It'd be one thing if Kordell was still hung up on Serena's missteps (and if he is, fair play and he should tell her that), but it just sounds like you want her to be knocked down a few pegs.

Kordell shouldn't and didn't need to do these things to teach Serena any lessons. She's either a slow burner or she just doesn't like him that much romantically (my personal theory) or some combination of the two.
That is fine, you can't force attraction. Serena does not need to be knocked down a peg or taught any lessons about Kordell because if she doesn't like him like that, she doesn't like him like that.
Kordell understandably feels bad because he knows he hurt Serenas feelings. That's said he shouldn't be out here walking on eggshells and putting his love Island experience on the back burner and now suffering because he's being treated like a committed boyfriend who cheated on her.
He didn't. They had a connection that was very one sided romantically until just a few days before Casa. Even then, Kordell has little confidence how strongly Serena feels about him. He has every right to move on to something more secure.
This is not about bashing Serena or wanting to hurt her or get revenge. This is about Kordell needing to do what's best for himself.

My commentary was specifically about your argument that assumes all of Serena's actions prior to Casa were all manipulative and concludes that Kordell should do x, y, z because *you believe* Serena's motivations were a, b, c.
Your comment is just one example of the overwhelming rhetoric that positions Kordell's choices as the direct consequence of Serena's boundaries and suggests "that's what she gets." There may be some truth to it, but I'd like to hear that from Kordell. And I'd like to see more discussion that recognizes Kordell is an active participant in that coupling vs depicting him as a victim or a sucker who Serena kept under her thumb.

I think Seran and Kordell for sure have a connection. I think Kordell has a big crush and Serna is just not very attracted to Kordell. She likes him for sure, they get along, I can see them being friends, they have chemistry.
Just because they get along it doesn't mean they have to be a couple. People want them to be a thing because Kordell likes her so much and they are cute together when they are vibing.
Problem is, you can't force attraction. It isn't a choice. I think Serena is trying to force it a bit (maybe she does find him attractive to a point or maybe he truly has started to grow on her too) but I also believe Kordell would be better served going after someone who is truly attracted to him.
Just because someone likes you a lot, it doesn't mean you own them anything. Serena never had to get with Kordell. And Kordell is ok to recognize that she is not that into him, and he can move on to someone who is more into him and not be sorry about it.
