- Hey guys, I know that everyone of you is looking for every Danny Phantom ghostly wail video but sadly their popular video was gone. Well, luckily, I’ve uploaded so you can still remember in every clips.

I think it's a nice touch how the Ghostly Wail sort of drains his power and makes him change to his human form. It's his most powerful attack but since it takes a lot out of him he mostly uses it as a last resort, which is also responsible considering how destructive it is.

Butch Hartman confirmed that Danielle was adopted by the Fentons after the events of Phanthom Planet. Meaning, if we got a 4th season, Danni would've become a main cast member. But here's my theory. Danielle is a clone of Danny. Thus, she has most of his powers. Since the Ghostly Wail is unique to Danny Phantom, Does that mean Danni Phantom has the Ghostly Wail too?

Man, this makes me wish the show was more dark and serious. There’s just so much you can do around the concept of Danny’s death and his powers.

The wail is both a grounding but rather revealing power, if we think about it. I mean, a “wail?” There’s an emotional response put down in words you don’t hear everyday. It’s almost like they had to give the kid a physical outlet for all his suffering, pain, and abuse in the show. It’s mesmerizing, and just blows you away.

That’s why for young danny it gets stronger each time he uses it, but for dark danny it’s not too powerful. He doesn’t suffer, because he has no sympathy, no remorse, he doesn’t care.

Danny has two or more powers that Vlad doesn't and they are both very affective against him. Cryokenesis is the other one. I think Repulsion field was one too.
I remember reading a theory that Danny's ghostly wail is the sound he made in the ghost portal when he accidentally turned in on.

It was Mostly Nickelodeon they kept cancelling FOP And than brought it back in 2007 until 2017 I guess they didn't give a shit about Danny Phantom
The part I love about Danny is that his powers are earned and most of his strongest techniques come with a set back.

The ghostly wail for starters taxes him immensely and risks going back to his human form when exhausted. For his ice powers had he not gotten proper training....well he would have been a phantom ice cube

The monster roar that comes out of him before he unleashes it it's just my favorite thing in the world
Seeing them all in order like this, I noticed some neat details. First, every time the wail forced him back to human form while still using it Danny's transformation was a little weird: Fenton still wearing Phantom's suit, then reverting to human from the center outward without rings, and then a similar effect bringing Fenton's coat onto Phantom. The first and last were only partial transformations; if I'm not mistaken, the only naturally occurring instances of such (the shrinking episode doesn't count, 'cause Fenton tech caused it), and the middle one happened after using the wail twice in a row. Secondly, the wail gets noticeably stronger with time. When he used it on Vlad there were no gaps between the waves, and when he used it on the Tucker sphinx the waves were noticeably brighter - almost white - and it was throwing large debris much more easily than in previous instances.
His ghostly wail against Vlad is my second favortie. My first one would be his ... "I PROMISED!" One.
After hearing it multiple time it sounds soo goofy like when someone trying to scare you with a blanket over them. But it has its charm

When he gets this power up in the nicktoons united games I kinda prefer that sound more. It's his own voice but like in an echo chamber screaming.
They had the sound just right in the ultimate enemy but it changed overtime and got more goofy lol

I love how OP this power is while also being fair in the sense that Danny can't exactly spam it at full blast all the time.
It's one of these show stoppers that are a gamble since you're more or less tuckered out afterwards.
I love how underneath the ghostly moans you can hear an unholy din of shrieking/roaring. Like the screams of the damned or a hoard of monsters is being channeled through Danny's voice

Actually dark Danny probably had that same problem. By the time we see Dark Danny he was an adult meaning we don't know how long it took him to master it. Danny discovered it when he was fourteen and he did it ten years earlier than his future self. It's understandable why he had a major drawback to it. He is young and his body couldn't handle that much power. It's only natural he was depowered whenever he called on it.
The only power that Vlad doesn’t have. But the question is does Danielle have it too considering she’s share’s Danny’s DNA.

I love the moment when Danny used the ghostly wail on Vlad and he surprisingly gets right back up afterwards. That was legitimately intimidating to see Danny gave it his best shot and Vlad tanked it. You don't realize how serious of a comment it is when he says he's just playing with Danny.
That's cuz Vlad drained half of his powers. If Danny used the ghostly wail on him fully powered Vlad woulda been a stain on the wall. I mean you saw how badly it affected his future self.
The ghostly wail is one of the most powerful Sonic screams ever used as a superpower especially when you're yelling at people

I love this power so much. As others mentioned this it is considered a last resort when Danny needs to use it. What was amazing in Ultimate Enemy Danny's older evil self got a surprised that young Danny Phantom learned a power 10 years earlier. Awesome video too!

This power was always one of my favorites! Always loved the sound of the wail and how because the power manifested in Danny earlier than Dan, it drains him because he's physically weaker than his 25 year old full ghost counterpart. However, once Danny reaches that age, he'll be even more powerful due to having it longer.
One of my favorite powers of Danny’s and obviously one of his most powerful.
Bashees are the only ghosts able to use their voice for harm or to warn. But Danny possibly being an Irish boy. Gets to use those powers to warn and protect.

Ghostly Wail was really nerfed when Danny used it on Vlad 1:07 It's so powerful, Vlad should have been obliterated, he should NOT have been able to simply get back up.

True, but like others mentioned he was tired out from being tortured before though the argument can definitely be made that it was similar with his fight against Dark Dan considering it seemed like Danny was running nonstop throughout that episode. Maybe Danny still had power fluctuations because he was a teen? Honestly, I feel like they need to at least remaster the series for nostalgia's sake.

Apparently the full power Ghostly Wail requires more power than the teenager Danny at full strength. This could explain why this power drains Danny's power but not Dark Dan, as well as why it took 10 years for Dark Danny to master it. As the show went on, young Danny eventually learned to regulate how much power would go into the Ghostly Wail, which explains why he doesn't revert back to his human form as often, as well as why it's not as powerful as it was when used against Dark Danny. To add to this, Dark Dan is way more powerful than Danny, therefore has more than enough power to unleash the fully charged up Ghostly Wail without draining himself.
I was just thinking about that, I think it also has to do with dark Dan being a full ghost, he doesn’t have his human side anymore therefore he never had to worry about the power draining him so maybe thats also a factor?
@@toxicfataldestiny5408 you also have to factor in that dark Danny is a fusion of Danny and Vlad's ghost half that combined the overall power of both. Also we saw dark Danny still a teenager when he formed so it's reasonable that his power continued to grow as he got older
I also have a theory on that as well. Dark Danny needed with Vlads evil half and Danny is an ice type ghost while Vlad is a fire, I imagine that having two opposite elements inside him would make some moves easier to master and others harder.
Another food for thought is the wail could be off of emotions, and half human Danny having emotions (or more so then Dark danny) as well as needing an outlet would learn that ability faster

Also I think that Dark Danny had to figure out the Ghostly Wail on his own while literally got blasted with it and essentially understood not only its strength first hand, but also the motions of how you execute that ability, making it easier for him to figure it out.
I think Danny kind of forced himself to unlock this power which is why it's draining, cause Danny's body needed time to mature to having it which is why it took 10 years for Dark Danny to unlock it, it might've even taken longer to come naturally since he's still Half ghost

Seems like the ghostly wail ranges in power as well. It goes from sending an earthquake all through future Amity Park. To knocking back tanks, and helicopters. To merly breaking certain sections of the users choosing. Knocking back enimes. Destroying labs, and demon trees.

Ok I have this theory that the meteor was not Dark Danny’s origin but his snapping point.
Like maybe he grew to trust Valerie then she killed Danielle out of her fear of ghosts and then the meteor happened.
And Danny’s ghost side was the one who wanted to be separated to strengthen himself for revenge.
Also come to think of it, this makes SOOO much sense because if Dark Danny was really after power, he’d come harder for that timeline’s Vlad.
Wait a minute, am i behind on Danny Phantom lore? The meteor, like the one from the Finale, the Disasteroid. That Meteor? Or is there some other Fan theory this is being built upon?
I'm genuinely a little confused there since i thought Dark Danny's origin story was the death of everyone he loved (and Mr. Lancer), then he asked Vlad to fix it but that failed miserably.
@@crazyJman80 Well I think Jack say ing that Valerie killed Danielle before t he whole meteor thing that killed all his loved ones so there was also kinda a seed of hatred. Then when his loved ones all died he wanted to give up his ghost power forever but this ghost power kinda had that hatred took over Vlad's ghost half becoming the Dark Danny.
@RexZShadow one cool thing someone else pointed out on RUclips was their were early signs of dark danny back in the first Circus Freak episode. Danny does and say similar things that Dark Danny says when he's under the control of the staff
Okay, since a lot of people seem to have this wrong, let me just say… There is no meteor in Dark Danny’s origin. His family died in an explosion at the Nasty Burger because he cheated on his SAT.
Danielle is created AFTER the Ultimate Enemy, so it’s safe to say she straight up doesn’t exist in Dark Danny’s timeline because Vlad hadn’t made her before he got his powers stolen.
1:04 this is my favorite scene of the ghost wail to see Vlad submit to a power he never mastered.
i get that feeling that Dannys ghostly wail against Vlad is kinda weak, one ghostly wail almost put Dark Danny out of the fight and damn he was one of the strongest ghosts danny ever faced (i dare say stronger than Pariah Dark). Vlad should've been obliterated by just one wail

Dark Danny was a mix of two syntetic ghosts and resulted to be the most powerful ghost with his durability, ghostly wail and energy manipulation powers and dimension portals..
He is more powerful than Pariah dark but when Danny used the power against Vlad, he was weakened by the machine
Not only weakened by the electrocution machine but before he was overshadowed by a clone of his. Then he escaped, had a short fight with Dani and got blasted. So yes, Danny was weaker so in turn his ghostly wail wouldn't have been able to pack as much of a punch.

I still like the sound in The ultimate enemy it sounded more spooky and terrifying. But it still sounded alright in the later episodes. I especially like the one where Vlad gets his ass handed to him. The music just makes it more impactful. The 1st will always be The ultimate enemy 2nd Kindred Spirits. Not even Vlad who had 20 years of experience to learn about his Ghost Powers did he discover such power.

That she would be by his side and discover his secret identity to fight vlad in the final showdown, maybe even get some power boosts and even a moment with danny, maybe even finally put the past behind them and decide once and for all where they stand, only to anticlimactically sideline her and go with the lazy route between Danny and sam, when Sam has almost no chemistry with danny, can you imagine Valery with her ghost infused super tech being used in some way to alter the properties of the ghostly wail? DO YOU KNOW HOW AWESOME IT WOULD BE IF DANNY AND VALLERY COMBOD TO MAKE A SUPER GHOSTLY WAIL? Or create charges so that his team could access ghost powers like Valery does for a limited time?
