Adam is one of my favorite riders on the track everytime he does an interview it 100% honest and straight forward. I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir but If he eliminates those small mistakes those little bobbles are all that's keeping him from the top of the mountain.
He explained this very well. I totally get what he's sayin. It's gotta be tough winning ur whole life then having to keep that standard when it really matters
Let's not forget Mike Alessi vs Villopoto story. Grew up together Alessi won a lot. In the Pro's Villopoto killed him. Kind of the same thing with Adam and Cooper. Just a fact if your fast in AMs you won't be in Pro's.
Your gypsy why can't I watch the new upload featuring jet Lawrence about his brother Hunters gear? I got the notification and pulled It Up ASAP and it says it's private? Also I like Adam sin cirilo AC could be real good I'm not still seems like maybe the older Riders get in his head?
I think alot of these pros dont genuinely enjoy racing for a living until they are retired and have time to reflect. The amount of pressure and work that would be required must be insane. Even RC was famous for saying he hated losing more than he liked winning
I find Supercross racing to be very similar to thoroughbred racing. All the bikes have similar power so it comes down to power to weight ratio. Adam is approximately 6’ 2” tall so keeping his weight between 140-150lbs will be very difficult.
Yeah in the 250 class. But on the 450 the weight isn't as relevant. The bikes honestly make more power than even the pros need. The factory 450s aren't making a ton more power than a production bike and it's because they become unrideable once you get past the low 60s of horsepower. So adam being a bigger kid shouldn't be much of a factor on the big bike.
Adam seems like a bit of a thinker even back then, funny how he says some guys are the fastest in practice but for some reason things don't work out for them. This seems to be him since turning pro and who the hell knows why. He has everything to be dominant but things just don't seem to work out. I hope he can find the missing piece - look at everyone if he does!
That's simple, doing one quick lap is a completly different thing than doing a full race. If you look at old GPs, which were 40min plus two laps and some tracks were really long, back then stuff was completely different. There were dudes who had difficulty qualifying but rode into the top ten when they qualified.
@@petergriffin4629 True. I'm not sure but i think Adam was alluding to the practice track where they are pumping out 20min plus motos. But yeah making a full moto is a different ball game to doing a quick lap.
@Jack s. kicking Yup and AC and RC both from Florida. Florida riders are great; they not as good as their forefathers. RC and JS7 is beasts, MOOKIE, AC9, and RJ Hampshire need to step it up
@@GYPSYTALES forgive me, and it may be the clip's content was never published, but someone mentioned this interview being from 4 years ago. Also noticed an interview with Josh Hill with clips as old as 4 years ago and what looked like the same interview and then some uploads from that interview just a few days ago. So maybe not re-upload, but like the "director's cut", if that makes sense?
@@MotoRevelations haha OK bud... Just a question cause clearly people have seen some clips of these interviews. That would make it like a "directors cut" to later be released
Great interview but I remember busting on him when he first turned pro because he was always on social media posting pics and crap. I told him that he should focus on his career. He blew me off as a young kid would. The people around him should have taken his phone away. We don't need to see selfies of you on the practice track. We need to you focus on racing plain and simple. This is what I tried to tell him.
My man needs to drop about 10 lbs.. these boys have it twisted , thinking they need to add muscle to control that 450 .. Does it help ? Sure, but it slaughters your cardio. Look at Kenny, he lost that mass and now he's back
I love that Adam isnt afraid to tell you what he's feeling. Such a great dude

AC really has his act together on the mental game. Tough going right now from orlando 2 woops but still kicking ass and taking names. Speedy recovery.
Wild to think this is from 2014
Little did he know it would be so hard to win his first championship
He definitely knew
Dang that's an impressive young man. Stay humble. Enjoy the ride.
Great perspective that ive never thought about before. Keep on keepin on AC!
gotta love the AC9
i have nothin but kuddos and positive wishes for him. Great role model fir the sport!! he should get a bonus fir that 💰
most insightful clip so far. keep it up!
When Mike Alessi took Adam in the last corner of Loretta Lynn that was legendary!
I still remember AC rippin on PW’s. He’s got a good head on his shoulders, but just seems to be dealt bad hands. Keep on keeping on Adam! 🤙🏻
He explained this very well. I totally get what he's sayin. It's gotta be tough winning ur whole life then having to keep that standard when it really matters
I remember when this dude was on a cobra at local tracks here in Florida. I always knew he would be a successful pro rider
Big AC fan. I loved pre covid anytime I got to see him on the podium chats. Great rider and the right mentality and personality.
Adam is very smart for his age

Staying on top is WAY harder than getting to the top.
Can you plz tell me where to watch this full video podcast?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Young AC!
Had to be the only 17 yr old with a real office

It he could stay on the bike and not get hurt he might be the best guy out there
alessi would agree
Love AC, wish he would stop crashing and getting hurt.

AC9 to Husky with aldon=wins/championship
Cooper did it and AC has better race craft
He was already trained by Aldon Baker. It didn't work.
AC all the way
How old are these interviews? He looks 17 here.
From 2014
@@GYPSYTALES so I was exactly right. Wow. It's hard to think that by his current age, 24, Carmichael already had 9 open class championships.

His biggest enemy is himself.
Adam can get a 450 title but he just needs to stay on 2 wheels instead of riding the ground
He and tomac are both struggling to keep the bike upright. Maybe a kawi issue. Or just pushing so hard
If that isn’t Fry from futurama idk who is
Isn't it Macaulay Culkin
Takes a big man to admit error
Kinda dumb to say since he wouldn’t be where he is now is he didn’t win as much as he did
