Nice tutorial. I am very interested in charcoal at the moment, and have used this technique a couple of times. I never combined it with graphite though, rather use charcoal pencil.

Nice to know the spelling in Icelandic! I´m glad you are using this technique, and yes, charcoal pencils are more usual as the blacks integrate perfectly.

Meow! I also tried drawing using only an eraser once, but i did not have charcoal and i used graphite lead...it was pretty hard to erase and not much control. I had to resort to typical anime cell shaded/lightened style
