I draw because I love the beauty of the human figure. Its breathtaking.
'Sketching away'....sometimes I get so frustrated with my art, but this video reminded me why I love to draw. It's an escape from stress and anxiety, an outlet for my emotions, a way to express myself. I can't imagine myself ever not drawing--it really is like breathing, isn't it?
I feel the same way. All of my life. I knew as a very small child that I was an artist.

I'm no great artist but i've always wanted a way to bring to life the images in my head. It's a relaxing way for me to express my real self, and how I may be feeling at any given time that can be as private or public as I want.

All i ever want to do is draw - drawing is like breathing for me as well, but I often feel I need to hold my breath. I've been working on making my art a career, and I want to tell you you've helped me a lot in that way. I've been watching your channel since 2012; at first without my own RUclips account, I watched your videos while working a call center for a small town dealership. I hated the job, but watching your videos always made those shifts go by a little faster. I don't work there anymore, but I am still taking phone calls. Even now, tuning into a Tuesday of Tutorial several days late reminds me to break out my sketchpad and pen and start breathing again.

Every artist on youtube has one thing in common, they are all way better than me. I figured out why I’m not becoming popular on youtube, I’m average. I need to rethink whether I should call my drawings art or not. I’ve studied a bit of anatomy and composition and I just have realized that I have a long way to go to be good like these brilliant artists, their skills amaze me all the time

Well I gotta admit that my newest drawing does look a bit ugly so it doesn’t surprise me if it’s bad. It’s easy to say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but if a drawing or a painting looks like trash, it looks like trash. Whether it is good or not is determined if people like it or not.

I like to draw because it helps me express my imagination better. Plus I just like to draw cool stuff.

For me it's often hard to begin, but when I do I may be sketching away for hours without noticing how time passes.

Very good process, even just watching is relaxing. I'm trying to learn too, I hope I will get past the basics to be able to draw freely without worrying about remembering all the techniques etc. I hope with time it will come. Thanks for the videos Leonardo.

Inspiring video. I have a very difficult time focus my attention. One of the things that help me on this is drawing, I draw since I was 5 and have just a hiatus because life... I started again 5 years ago and it's amazing how I still learning and improving.

Sketching Away. When drawing, I enjoy it. Have had a block of some sort. It seems the shading of a portrait is just a big obstacle.
