Yeah if youre early level thats the best thing to do. But not many ironmen just go straight for 99 fm before playing the game, so odds are youre gonna grind out that 99 in the later-mid and end-game. @@dav666777
I feel like you missed a massive piece between getting WT down to 25% then having 13k points. What was your strat while you gained all those points? That's like, the main part lol.
You can wield the bruma torch to act as both warm clothing and a tinderbox. With that and three other warm pieces you can use the rest for weight reduction.
I'm a mid ish level iron thinking of going back and trying solo after enjoying some solo temp. I'm 77hp and have karambwans but definitely don't have the herb level for brews. Can I get away with using karambwans? I do have a lot of sharks from trawler and temp but I don't have a high enough cooking level to feel justified in using them.
What settings are you running as far as the HD client goes? I really like how it has the shadows and animations without the high resolution textures. Also, thanks for the guide!
Probably RuneLite. There is a plugin called "117 HD" and it heightens the graphics, I even have mine set to winter mode rn as winter is coming on and it feels right with the season :)
I don't understand the increased loot rate. It takes about 50 minutes to complete a 13500 game but you can easily get 15 rounds in an hour @~750 points. I would roughly estimate about 32 rolls per hour solo and 37 normal.
15 rounds in an hour is pretty quick without hopping, if for no other reason than just the wait time between rounds. If you can get 15 rounds an hour at around 750 points, it's probably better to do that. According to the wiki, rounds on average take 5 minutes and 20 seconds, including the wait time, so closer to 12 rounds an hour. That's where this method is better for loot rolls. End of the day, this isn't so much better than grouping that you absolutely should do it. Slightly more rewards and slightly more construction and fletching xp, but that all kind of evens out. It mostly comes down to which you enjoy more: solo or group.
You legit SKIPPED THE WHOLE FIGHT 😢 like JEEZ BRO I WANNA SEE THE WHOLE THING, at least skip through it :/ like when do i revive pyros? you have 3 dead pyros and didnt show the fight at all :/
@@sambobenjamin1660 Ironmen don't do Wintertodt for loot? Since when? The loot is amazing for ironmen because it gives you a massive head start if you decide to 99 Fire making before doing anything else..... There are like 80 Ironman guides on RUclips that I know of that ALL say to do WT for the loot.
The collective groan when you realized how poor the loot is at wt was real lol to be fair it can be helpful to start an account and wt is fun solo or not
I don't think you understand how it works. The more points you have the more loot rolls you have on one crate. So he had the cap of points (13,500 pts) which will cause one crate to roll 28 times. Mass wintertodt you usually get 750-1250 points which will roll you 2-4 loot rolls per crate. Plus the solo method gives a lot more Construction and Fletching xp.
for ironmen with low fishing/cooking that cant obtain good food but are in mid level, u can buy potato with cheese that heals 16 hp for 9 coins each.
At the warriors guild? Isn't that 130 art str combined?
@@TobiasHoffmannWup 65 att/65 str (or any variation of 130 combined) is considered mid level.
if you dont have access to warriors guild, odds are your hp lvl is low enough that cakes/wines are fine tbh

omg soloing this completely changed my view on this minigame. Hated it, now I love it. Ty

you burn logs mate and relight brazier thats how you get the points duhhhh lol

At 99 hp you want the cape on for that regen. Along with the regen bracelet if you can, the 4 hp in the time you’d get 1 normally helps a lot.
You can wear the full carpenter's outfit + the 4 warm items for a bit of extra con xp when repairing the brazier.
Good idea
So when you end the game you want to light all 4?

How do you stall it out at low health?
I’m using an alt for my uim (68 hp) and max I can only get like 6500 points from running out of karambwans. ?? What do i do
do you fletch every inventory or do you just burn logs?
The worst thing is that i always run out of run energy very quickly and cannot fix/light braziars quickly enough
I use a regen bracelet and 5 cakes at 40hp. It's enough. Get down below 10% and you're chilling. Put on Rapid Heal and it's low stress.

How do you end the round early? With out losing every thing?
You just kill off the wintertodt. When your ready to kill it you just start light more brazier again
Thank you for guide!
I've been having such bad luck. Every time I solo, I die. I don't get it. Thank you for this video though!

You only run one brazier once you get it set up to the point where he showed, you leave them all dead unless you want to fix them for cons exp.
Thank you for the guide !!!
The nerf to the loot is what made me stop soloing. It's just not worth it anymore....
Wym?
you dont do wintertodt for the loot, even as an ironman. Its a pet roll simulator.

Dang 8 brews that’s quite pricey.
Unless your stats are absolute trash, you should make back your GP and then some from the loot.

1st to comment. Hope you make it big. If you do I need a rapier thanks
