    Blitz chess (also known as speed or fast chess) is a type of chess in which each player is given less time to consider their moves than normal tournament time controls allow. Openings, tactics and strategy are same.
    he Ruy Lopez is the cornerstone of classical play in chess. There are probably more variations for the Ruy Lopez than any other opening. With the common use of the double king’s pawn opening (1.e4 e5), the Ruy Lopez is one of the most played openings that any chess player will come across. It’s almost imperative that any chess player study some of the more popular defenses against the Ruy Lopez and understand some of the key concepts of the opening.
    From the beginning, white looks to develop his bishop while pinning down black’s knight to the king. Although many openings focus on the f7 square early on, the Ruy Lopez is a slower and more methodical approach to attacking black’s king.
    Always be aware of what your opponent is trying to do when playing the Ruy Lopez, as many players have a very specific defense designed for playing against the Ruy Lopez.
    The Ruy Lopez is sometimes considered a slow and boring opening but the better player should usually come out with the win. There are not as many tricks or surprises in the Ruy Lopez and is recommended against any opponent that you know you have a distinct advantage in skill level. (chesswebsite)

    Even losing, Navara still analizes the game in the end. Such a gentleman.

    Such a humble and blessed man Navara! he gently put himself into mate instead of resigning, this is a sportmanship lesson for me.

    Navarra has seen Rxf2 wich lead to a quick win. Unfortunately he was on the receiving end.

    26:10 Rxf2? If Bxg4 Qh2# if Kxf2 Qh2 check and Bh3# ? Or maybe i'm missing something

  • @allexo21
    @allexo21 4 года назад +8

    26:10 Seems black missed a simple immediate win by Qg6, and if Bf1 then Rh3

      Ne4 is stronger than Bf1

    • @allexo21
      @allexo21 4 года назад

      @@rhalleballe Actually, Nf1 is endeed stronger than Bf1. As for Ne4 it loses simply after Bf5 Ng3, taking twice on g3 and then check by bishop either from h3 or from e4

    • @rhalleballe
      @rhalleballe 4 года назад

      @@allexo21 No, Nf1 immediately also looses to Bf5. But after Ne4 and Bf5 white can prolongue with Bg5! (which holds the game approx.). Thats much stronger than Ng3. Because of Bg5 its better to play Ne4 instead of Nf1 (which really immediately looses to Bf5 followed by Rxf2 or take on g3 depending on whites move). Of course white is lost anyway. But Rxf2 instead of Qg6 mates quickest. The king cannot survive in the center of the board.

    should the black move the bishop instead of the rook at 30:20?

  • @xyz-py6hc

    On 19:32 queen to b3 and then in next chance bishop to c6 and the sweety is gone because check by queen and bishop attacking white's queen.

    Is it a mind game to take so long to respond to the first opening move? Come on now, there's nothing to think about that early in the game. LOL

      Most likely he is trying to concentrate at maximum, he is playing top GM, these games are very important for chess carrier, opens doors to better teams and so on. He is definitely works with chess a lot now, playing principled lines, and when you do so, you understand the importance of every move in the opening.
